Have read in food alergy magazines that gluten can be a hidden culpret to migranes.

I am 27 year old female. I am pretty healthy, work out 5-6 days a week and try to eat right. I've had migraines for over 7 years, this summer they got so bad that I was having them 4-5x a week. I've been on anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, BP medications, acupuncture, B2 and magnesium, cut alcohol out, etc. None of the drugs ever worked for me, and no relief from migraines ever worked other than hoping I would somehow fall asleep and wake up pain-free. Did a lot of research this summer during the time I was having frequent and excruciating migraines. I went gluten-free at the beginning of July and have not had so much as a stress headache since August. It took about a month-6 weeks for me to notice the effects of going gluten free (GF) but am so glad I tried it. It was hard for me at first, I was a big whole-grain bread fan before going GF. Give this a try, I never had any other digestive symptoms from gluten (or so I thought) but was desperate to try anything to get rid of my migraines. I feel lighter, more clear-headed, and have not had a migraine in almost 6 months. I have not been on any medications since June. Good luck to everyone :)
