I just found out I have this problem on sept 14th. After reading all these posts I'm trying a couple of different things. I had about 3, or so I thought, flat barely visible warts in between my vagina and anus. I tried the acv first and it was working but it was burning all my other skin badly. I also found I had several more flat warts around my anus but not on it. I eased up on the acv and applied tea tree oil to help prevent spreading and help it heal. I've been taking garlic, Tagamet, and zinc sulfate. The warts did scan and peel off but I can still feel a little bump where they were so I know they are not gone. Instead of resorting back to the acv I am sticking with the oral stuff. I also added a 5 he energy drink a day. Yesterday I made a mixture of Shea butter and green tea extract w/ 50% catechins and am applying several times a day. The tagament, zinc sulfate, and ecgc catechins have actual clinical research proving efficacy so those are the ones I am going to stick with. I definitely see an improvement an will keep updating. Hope we all can rid this horrible curse! Oh yeah and I stopped smoking after 15 years. Funny the risk of lung cancer and emphysema never forced me to quit but when you tell me it will make genital warts worse I was able to lay them down without a problem lol.

Hi my name is Scott ,I'm 27 and I have been living with hpv since I was 22 and it ended my engagement because we both thought we had cheated on each other, go figure. I am sorry to hear about your bad news I know when I found out I wanted to die. I was hoping you could tell me how vitamins help our problem? I actully thought I was alone in this Untill I found this site 15 minutes ago .. thank you ..really... I will most definitely die alone because of this but I don't want to be reminded of it every day..

So an update to my progress. I was able to get rid of the flat warts on either side of my perineum/anus. They are gone. I used acv two more times and applied tea tree oil and the green tea ointment I made several times a day. Now I am working on the 3-4 original ones I first discovered on my perineum and the 3-4 that are right on the edge of my vagina. I used acv on these again and the ones on my vagina are peeling and scabbing over. The flat ones on my perineum area are more stubborn an haven't scabbard yet. I also made an appt. at my gyn office to get a script for veregen and get a pap. I have not been brave enough to check internally to see if I feel any. I might have a panic attack if I did. I'll keep posting til I'm wart free :)

Scott, it's not the end of the world and you're not going to die alone. I know how you feel though, this craptastic disease had taken over my mind, soul, and body. But I'm determined to bet it. So the reason for the vitamins...it is said that hpv often will show symptoms when people are experiencing weakened immune systems due to smoking, poor nutrition, stress. There are also studies on certain supplements that have been proven to be effective...
1. Zinc sulfate-80% of people in the trial had complete clearance of warts within two months. These were not people with genital warts though but all warts are caused by various strains of the hpv virus. Also the people in the study had lower serum zinc levels to start and the ones that had clearance had significant increase in their zinc level.
2. Tagamet at higher doses had success rates of about 40%. Further studies though did not show these results but I figure what's the harm in trying.
3.) green tea extract, more specifically the catechins in the extract are the main ingredient in the prescription ointment veregen for genital warts. This medicine has been proven effective for many and has a very low recurrence rate. I bought some green tea extract with 50% catechins at a organic food store an mixed with Vaseline and apply several times a day.
4.) garlic pills-just from people's testimony on this and other websites
5.) vitamin B complex or energy drink-again just from several testimonies I've read online.
I'm not sure what is working but mine are definitely going away. Between the apple cider vinegar soaks and everything else they are getting dark then scanning over and when I pick them off they appear to be gone. No bumps underneath, no white when I soak the area with acv. Here's praying!!

Thanx for the info hun, I hope something works for me. Since finding your post I've been trying ACV and it works a little bit but the ones that do fall off turn into 10 more but its better then compound W, I used that crap for years and once again 1 fell off 10 came back. But I have been trying the vitamins for 3 weeks now so we'll see how that goes. It does make sense that vitamins would help because ever since I found out I had hpv.. I don't eat , I smoke 3 packs a day, don't sleep & I now have 6 ulcers from stress so hopefully the vits work out ok. I'm glad to hear that your doing good, I'm so happy for you. I never realized how much life is about the opposite sex. We worrie about our looks, our car, our house but if you take sex out of the equation we wouldent care about any of it so then what's left? If I can make this all go away, ill never take life for granted again. Thank-you for all your help sarah your an angel & I wish you all the best ...

The Real Answer

Calamine Lotion worked where ACV did not. ACV tended to burn and not rid the warts permanently. Calamine contains a percentage of zinc that does not danger the skin. Calamine Lotion keeps the skin dry and kills the virus. To accelerate the penetration process I pinched the surface of the wart. I then cleaned the area with a 50/50 bleach water solution to clean disinfect. Rinsed immediately and dried the area. Applied Calamine Lotion 3x daily and haven't had problems. If you smoke you need to quit for a couple of weeks and drink plenty of water. Smoking causes the surface of the skin to rise in temperature. Stay cool and dry and let the Calamine Lotion work for you.

STAY AWAY FROM ACV

IT WILL BURN AND SPREAD THE VIRUS IN THE SORES THAT ARE FORMED FOM SKIN IRRITATION

The Real Answer

Also use Baby Powder to keep dry.
