OK I AM A REDHEAD WITH THE FAIREST SKIN EVER - I BURN IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER - IN THE MIDWEST!! SO FOR MY WORST SUNBURNS - THE BLISTERY PURPLE KIND I SWEAR BY THIS - TAKE ANY ALOE GEL AND PUT IT IN THE FRIDGE(I USALLY KEEP IT THERE) MAKE 3 CUPS OF UNFLAVORED QUICK OATS OATMEAL(KEEP IT ON THE WATERY SIDE) LET IT COOL IN THE FREEZER, MIX ALOE AND OATMEAL TOGETHER MAKING A PASTE AND SLATHER IT ON, LET IT SIT ON YOUR SKIN FOR 10 TO 15 MINUTES AND RINSE OFF IN COOL WATER.

THE COOLNESS HELPS NUMB THE PAIN INSTANTLY - THE OATMEAL TREATS THE ACTUAL BURN.

My grandaughter got a bad burn when she was just an infant. She had red bumps all over her face, her skin was red and hot. I remembered hearing about oatmeal drawing out irritated skin and soothing the skin. So I did put some on her little face and left it there for about five minutes and like magic the red was gone. I use it also as a mask for myself once every so often. It draws out impurities and soft my skin!

I was looking for something with oatmeal in it as I've heard it works wonders. Thank you so much! I'll be trying this now and maybe the vinegar later.
