I didn't have fresh garlic ot a crusher, but I found garlic powder in my cabinet. Well I figured it would be good to add some different solutions I found here to see if it would work with the powder.

First I took 4 ibuprofen and 2 aleve. This actually didn't help very much at all. Very annoying.

After that, I mixed garlic powder, salt, and paprika. I added a bit of water to make a slurry-ish. I just got that and swirled it around the area of the toothache.

Worked in a few minutes like a charm and it's been working for over two hours, not even a little pain. I love it :) I'm going to make sure I always have these three things in my cabinet from now on!

THANK YOU!!!! My husband, when I told him about it, was skeptic of it working. We don't have peprika available but we do have minced garlic and sea salt. It worked within minutes of applying the paste to the the infected area. I can feel the teeth pulsing still and I still can't chew anything, but now I can sleep and get this grape seed extract to work on my infected too. Thank you so much. And for everyone who said about suction on the tooth, doesn't work as well when it is an infected nerve.

I did the garlic powder, paprika, and salt with warm water. It tastes like bad Ramon noodle powder, but after keeping it on the painful area for several minutes, I could still feel a bit of the pain. By the time I went back to the couch to look up another remedy, I realized that the pain has been reduced to being all but gone! Totally able to comfortably ignore it and sleep now.

I can't even explain how thankful I am for this tip! I've been in horrible pain for days. Advil and Tylenol had been working somewhat, up until today. But there was always an hour or so between doses that I was hurting. I have taken so much medicine in the past few days, and I don't like to do that (I was overdosing really, but I just hurt so much and wasn't sleeping more than 2 hours before the pain would come back and keep me from going back to sleep). I'm so incredibly tired :( Anyway, I mixed the 3 ingredients with warm water and put a spoonful onto the right side of my mouth and let it sit for several minutes. I didn't want to swish if I could avoid it because I thought I might gag, so I just sort of shook my head lightly to move the liquid around. Instantly my tooth felt better! I was unsure if it was just the warm water soothing it temporarily, but it has lasted. And even if the pain comes back while I'm sleeping, I know I can do this again for a few minutes, go back to bed and actually fall back asleep. I am so freaking excited to be pain-free right now!
