3 Comments for the Genital Warts Home Remedy

Hi all, I'm a 38 year old male who has quite a few of these nasties! So, here's my experience with ACV: I soaked the cottonballs, taped it on for 3-4 hours a day for 4 days. They turn white, then when the ACV evaportates, they go a little greyish/blackish...but that's it! Am I doing something wrong? I put a lot of ACV on the cottonballs and also, IT DOES NOT STING WHATSOEVER! This seems odd since everyone says it should hurt. It doesn't seem to be working, at least for me. Any suggestions as to why it's not stinging or they aren't even shrinking? How long do I have to do this for? I tried Aldara, and about 10 trips to the doctor attempting to freeze them off...NOTHING!! No results! Any comments are appreciated!

I'm female(which makes it extremely difficult to treat!) and saw a post about using Baking Soda. I rinsed the areas and sprinkled Baking Soda onto a cotton pad(or some folded toilet paper)and patted it on the areas while still wet.The Baking Soda adhered to the spots-and it DID burn the first 2 nights I used it.They flattened out after night 2. I only used it a few more nights(and it didn't burn the other times)and they've disappeared on areas I treated!

However,I've had 2 more pop up and tried ACV on those-and it has done NOTHING at all! I am going back to Baking Soda! I only applied it at night and kept the area rinsed and clean with alcohol throughout the day if it was convenient(meaning-when at home/not at work). I also have been taking No Odor Garlic Pills(because everyone suggested it) and applying Vitamin E cream on the area for healing(as Baking Soda is a little abrasive). TRY BAKING SODA!!! (Best part-you probably don't have to make a special trip to the store to get it&it's also inexpensive)

Thanks! The good news for me came through a nutshell my family doctor knows about my condition, and has referred me to a specialist. I am lucky to live in Canada where this is all covered, I just wish everyone could have the same benefit in this condition! So, there may be some hope yet! I'm going to wait and see what the specialist says and then may try the baking soda if nothing comes of it.

The home remedies book mentioned it could take up to 60 days of applications which sucks but better than the alternative.
