I finally found a cure! It seemed as if I tried everything including the typical store bought wart remover (liquid, disks & bandaids), apple cider vinegar, duct tape, bee propolis & more. You name it and I probably tried it. After nearly a year I went to the physician expecting that she would suggest having it cut out. To my surprise she recommended crushing one aspirin, adding a few drops of water to make a paste, applying the paste to the wart then covering with duct tape. Repeat daily. She also recommended taking one Tagamet orally daily. My wart was gone within two weeks (without the burning pain of the ACV)and I was finally able to walk again!!

This sounds great but why Tagamet. I've tried everything as well including having it cut out but it always comes back. About to start the ACV again but this sounds much better just don't quite understand it?

Not sure about the Tagment, but am doing the aspirin paste and duct tape...it is working better than anything I have tried so far! Here is to hoping the sucker never comes back. Thanks for this!

In some studies, cimetidine has been found to reduce the debilitating pain and symptoms of herpes zoster, presumably by blocking the H2-receptors of T-lymphocyte suppressor cells.[6]

A number of 'open label' studies showed cimetidine was effective in the treatment of common warts, but more rigorous double-blind clinical trials suggested it to be no more effective than a placebo. However, the researchers in this study admit their results may not be sound, due to small sample size, and did not explore higher dosing options.[7]
