Please try this remedy it DEFINITLEY works to a very high degree. It also works remarkably fast. It may cause a chemical reaction, yet it is nothing a little gargling of water won't fix. First, you get some Lemon juice, baking soda, and a little bit of water. Get a small cup and pour a teaspoon of lemon juice in it and put some baking soda in a cup. Pour the lemon juice in it. Here the chemical reaction happens. It will fizz and bubble up a little bit. Gurgle the fizz.

For people who read the comments, please do not use this method. Lemon juice is about 6-7% citric acid, when reacted with baking soda, aka sodium bicarbonate, carbon dioxide is produced. The thing is... if the reaction is not completely neutralized, excess carbon dioxide would react with the water in your mouth to produce carbonic acid, thus causing further tooth decay. Thanks.

the acidity of the juice is going to erode your enamel. i do not recommend this for the health of your teeth.

This is why you only GURGLE it. Brushing your teeth with it will erode enamel. It is literally layering the teeth with the acid. That is why gurgling is just quickly swishing the mixture and for a short period of time the mixture is destroying all the food and grime in your teeth. And even if it does ALMOST damage your teeth, the gurgling of water will remove it.

PS. Lime and lemon are both acidic, lime being even more so, just make sure if you do use that mixture to gurgle the water a bit longer.
