Two drops of tea tree oil, right on the sore. Relieves the pain immediately and tge antiseptic qualities promote healing. At the very least, it will stop it from getting worse.

as in the last comment i was worried about this but didn't have any of the other remedies on hand. My mouth did smell like toilet bowl cleaner (which had me keep poison control on speed dial ;) but the pain did go away. just tastes terrible

I just tried this by dipping a cotton bud into the tea tree and applying it to the ulcer rather than putting the tea tree oil into my mouth. Works a treat, seems to numb the area a bit and has taken away the pain :D

I too was concerned but IT WORKS! It has a numbing effect. So glad I tried it. Thanks!

Tea tree oil is good for many things. But be careful. Like many essential oils Tea Tree Oil is hepatoxic - really bad for your liver. I'm a believer but I would never use it internally. This is not a good idea.
