When you have mucus/phlegm in the throat due to post nasal drip, get some Silver Biotics (it is the only colloidal silver that really works for me) and make a nasal pray with this solution.

Don't add anything, just spray your nose 3 times daily, 2 spray in each nostril. It will fix the post nasal drip and allow the mucus to get out your nose.

THEN move on to the mucus and phlegm in the throat, here is an INSTANT remedy that will work 100%, all the time and it took me a minute to find this one.

1 - Get some Apple Cider Vinegar and mix it with 1/3 Apple Cider Vinegar, 2/3 cold water

2 - Do a gargle then bend over and stay in this position for as long as you can (minimum 3 minutes). Try to bend over and hold your feet.

3 - While bending, press your tongue against the roof of your mouth every 2 to 3 seconds.

What will happen is that:

a) The mucus/phlegm will attached itself to the mixture as Apple Cider Vinegar acts like a sponge.

b) The gravity will let the mucus/phlegm in your throat to fall in your mouth.

You will feel it falling inside your mouth and when you do, please do not stop because there are usually a lot more coming up.

So continue and each treatment should be at least 3 good gargles. You can do that as often as you like until the mucus/phlegm is completely removed. You can end your session by sucking on honey or drops to soothe your throat.

And VOILA!

ThThank you so much for this advice. I was in the urgent care for 3 hours on breathing treatment which didn't help much. I read this post the next day, and tried this remedy. And it works so well, I was very impressed. I suffer from asthma and I believe this well help me on a daily basis. I am so glad I stumbled into this post. IT WORKS!!!!

This was absolutely revolting thought I was going to throw up but it worked. I'll definitely do it again if necessary - whether I do throw up or not!

I was desperate last evening, and decided to try the remedy. I usually do a netti pot but thought this might be a good choice too. I did mix as directed, but I used tepid water. I didn't have a problem being in the upside down position. I used about an 1/8th cup op the warm solution, swished my tongue around the top of my palette, and I noticed the phlegm starting to loosen up. My nose was clear all night, and I did the regime 3 times. Worked great.

thanks

I thought this was some sillt business and I just tried it and could not beleive it! I had aliens coming out of my lungs! I tried this in the shower, double whammy. Such an awesome idea

I intuitively went to my Bragg's ACV with the mother in it. It did part of the job. I never knew the part about bending over and the tongue part so now I'll accomplish the total cleansing. I didn't realize so many people had this issue and were looking for answers. Thank you all for your comments. I am blessed.

I forgot to add something. Someone asked about using white vinegar. Good question. White vinegar destroys your red blood cells so stick to a name brand which I suggest, Bragg's.

THIS WORKS!!! I'm, by nature, a skeptic but needed something - this wasn't going to kill me to try it and I was AMAZED at how well this worked for me. I did this at 8AM and wasn't congested again for a few days. I am feeling some congestion from allergies coming on today and I will be doing this for sure!

I just tried it as well. I'm a singer and caught the wretched flu recently which has the lingering cough for over a month now! The technique did bring out some gunk, and I'm so grateful to know this technique. I'll keep doing it for sure, but a warning - try very hard not to get the cider in your nasal passage. PAINFUL!!!!
