When you have mucus/phlegm in the throat due to post nasal drip, get some Silver Biotics (it is the only colloidal silver that really works for me) and make a nasal pray with this solution.

Don't add anything, just spray your nose 3 times daily, 2 spray in each nostril. It will fix the post nasal drip and allow the mucus to get out your nose.

THEN move on to the mucus and phlegm in the throat, here is an INSTANT remedy that will work 100%, all the time and it took me a minute to find this one.

1 - Get some Apple Cider Vinegar and mix it with 1/3 Apple Cider Vinegar, 2/3 cold water

2 - Do a gargle then bend over and stay in this position for as long as you can (minimum 3 minutes). Try to bend over and hold your feet.

3 - While bending, press your tongue against the roof of your mouth every 2 to 3 seconds.

What will happen is that:

a) The mucus/phlegm will attached itself to the mixture as Apple Cider Vinegar acts like a sponge.

b) The gravity will let the mucus/phlegm in your throat to fall in your mouth.

You will feel it falling inside your mouth and when you do, please do not stop because there are usually a lot more coming up.

So continue and each treatment should be at least 3 good gargles. You can do that as often as you like until the mucus/phlegm is completely removed. You can end your session by sucking on honey or drops to soothe your throat.

And VOILA!

I'm so terrible desperate to get rid of the phlegm in my throat that I will try anything. I literally feel the need to hawk up phlegm constantly and it's been going on for over two months I've been to the doctors and no luck. So I tried this remedy and I didn't notice alot of phelgm came out but I was wondering how do u keep the apple cider vinegar in your my in that bent over position? I could only hold it for about 30 secs and then it would start to drip out ..... Any suggestions?

I tried the apple cider vinager + water, gargled, bent over for a few minutes, hacked up a lot of mucous and about half an hour later my throat is clear of mucous! I dont have that constant need to swallow or clear my throat. I will definitely do this every day! worked like a charm.

I have had a sinus 'thing' going on for a couple of weeks now and am at the point where I am coughing and the coughs are very wet. I found this suggestion using the vinegar, but wasn't expecting much. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised, to the point where I am going to pass along this 'trick' to our family doctor! I can't thank you enough for posting this tip. It really works great!

Thank you for this tip! It really helps to remove a lot of PND and you may have to try it a few times (over the course of days or wks, even) if you cannot stand to hold the ACV in your mouth for that long. Also, if you have had lots of PND for years, like I have, it may take several attempts. But from the first rinse I did, I noticed lots of PND coming up. I am also sick at the moment and I think that helped my throat a little too.

Anyway, I will be doing this forever! Thanks so much :)

I have not tried this yet, but I'm like the last poster, I've been bothered by it for years and never did anything about it, as soon as i get paid I'm soooooo gonna try it, I'm sure it will be quite nasty but as long as i have a clear throat again i wont care

hm couldn't wait till payday, cant stand the annoying feeling in the back of the throat, so i tried it a few mins ago, and although i didn't get everything out, i got the annoying junk out, but man holding that vinegar in is nasty and some of it came out of my nose that was not pleasant.. but it worked, just really awkward trying to get into a position where it can fall out

saby

can i use white vinegar instead? its the only one i have available at the moment! please advise asap..

I had terrible chest congestion last night, I couldn't sleep. Every time I lay
down, Something that felt like fluids felt like it was keeping me from being able to breath. I stumbled upon this ACV gurgle recipe, and dismissed it- its so strange, tongue, feet... yeah right. But I did it anyway, and though i still feel some chest tightness, my nasal passages and chest area feel 50 percent lighter and more able to take in oxygen. If its late at night for you and you and you can't breath- do this gurgle, you will feel MUCH better, a lot of fluids/phlegm gets pulled out by the ACV. I reccomend!
