Believe it or not, lie on your back with your feet elevated at a 90 degree angle. I'm allergic to almost everything I eat (most likely gluten/dairy however I'm not good about checking labels) and experience uncomfortable gas and bloating often. I like to avoid medicating myself whenever possible, and after having spent half of a night in pain I was desperate, so I propped my feet up on a wall at about 90 degree angle and was shocked at the relief I felt. You can also press your knees into your chest for 10 seconds and return your knees to the 90 degree angle as this gets the gas moving. You'll be surprised at how well this works!

Thank you for posting this remedy, it worked GREAT! I have never taken any medication for painful gas pains, so I googled home remedy for gas pains and tried it.

Wow I can't believe this worked. I work swing shift and ate a fiber bar during the night. When I got home had terrible gas and stomach cramps. I needed to fall asleep and this was wonderful.

This worked for me! The relief is wonderful. Tums didn't work the 90o angle did.

Have the same pain after eating dairy and gluten. Turns out I have gallbladder disease and stones. If you get horrible colic type pain especially at night please get yourself checked out. Another sign would be radiating pain on your upper right abdomen under your rib cage thatradiats to your back.
