I've done this before from my Home Remedy book too and oh my heavens it's amazing - but I didn't DRINK IT I just
gargled with it like 3x a day and within one night the pain went away and within two the white stuff even disappeared on my throat - I read that this apple cidar vinegar is even better than when you have antibiotics as far as clearing up strep throat!

ok. so this morning I woke up and could barely talk my throat hurt so bad. I knew I was going to be on the couch all day. I read this and gave it try. I gargled all of it, but did not drink all of it (maybe about 25% of it) My throat felt 95% better right away. About 15 minutes later it was a little sore but only about 25% of what it was when I first woke up. This worked great for me!

I just did this a minute ago and I can tell a difference - however its not completely gone. Also, I didn't drink it...I couldn't bring myself to swallow it after I gargled. Maybe I'll try to swallow next time and it will work more long term.

My fiancé had a bad sore throat a few weeks ago, and I happened upon this site. I served her this concoction, which she cursed me for. She gargled it all, but only swallowed once (couldn't stand to do it again). She did say she felt immediate relief; not completely gone, but it did work instantly. She tried it a second time, and the sore throat was gone.

Now, I have a sore throat pretty bad. I tried it two nights ago, due to her successful attempts those weeks ago. I gargled all, only swallowing twice. But, I didn't feel it helped at all. Two mornings later, it's still here. So, I came back to this site, and read it again. I gave it another shot, this time, really trying to gargle to the back of my throat. I swallowed once, but, just like last time, on the second try, I gagged, and almost brought up my lunch! So, I just gargled the rest of it.

It is truly an ungodly production, but I did feel immediate relief. Also, as my fiancé reported, it wasn't completely gone, but suffering was drastically minimized. I will try once more later in the day. Hopefully that will be able to knock out the remaining irritation. Thanks, Ken!

Just wanted to say this works! I gargled with the vinegar and water first, but my throat was still a little sore, so I waited a little while and just took a tablespoon of apple cidar vinegar by itself and the next morning it was gone!

I was desperate.
I'd had this sore throat for over a week & NOTHING was helping!!!
My husband suggested a home remedy recipe & I found this one. I drank about 3/4 of the 1 cup but after about the 7th mouthful I started to get nauseous. BUT! It worked! My throat is feeling a million times better than the razor blades I had earlier this evening. I am going to try to just swallow the apple cider & see how that works too.

THANK YOU !!!!!!!

I'm sure this remedy would work very well if I could just not vomit everytime I tried it.
Sigh.

I woke up yesterday KNOWING I was going to get a sore throat and, of course, I woke up today with one. There is no medicine in the house for a sore throat, so I searched online and found this site. This was the only remedy I've never heard of before & the comments on the recipe persuaded me, so I decided to try it.

...
I just finished drinking the full cup of water & apple cider vinegar, and I'm ready to go about my day. There was a significant change in my voice [not so hoarse] and I can breathe through my mouth quite well. The swelling went down and I feel far better than when I woke up this morning.

THANK YOU KEN, i gargled & drank it all. Once I get back from working out, I'm going to do it one more time so I can be back to my regular self by tomorrow =] My friends are going to love me for providing them this information. Thanks again Ken!!

The taste is nasty! On the third gargle, I vomited. However, my throat does feel a little better after just three times. So if you can hang in there, it will probably work. I'm trying something else! Good luck.

try adding a teaspoon of honey into the glass of apple cider vinegar with water.
it makes it easier to sallow and works equally as well.
