I tried everything to try and get rid of plantar warts. I started out with 2 right next to each other on my right foot. They gradually spread and I had about 9 of them in different areas on my foot. They were very painful and annoying. I tried apple cider vinegar, duct tape, all of the home remedies, nothing worked. Then, while on vacation to the seashore I noticed that after wading in the ocean that my foot hardly hurt at all and the warts had shrunk down. I thought about this for a few days and after getting home I deduced that it must be the salt in the sea water that was affecting the warts. After I took a shower and turned off the water I took some regular old iodized table salt and sprinkled a generous amount in the just damp tub. I then rubbed my foot all in the salt, grinding it as much as possible. After a few minutes of this I rinsed off the salt. After a day or two of doing this I noticed that the warts were shrinking and didn't hurt. I kept this up, just once a day with my morning shower and am happy to say that ALL of the warts are gone!!!! It took a few weeks for the pits where the warts were to heal over but they are completely gone now. I do the salt treatment a few times a week just to make sure they stay away. Simple, cheap and effective...common table salt!! Try it, I swear it works!!!

um how long did it take for the warts to go away and did you have to pull the seeds out?

Sherry

I didn't have to pull anything out. I just used the salt everyday and to this day I have had no returns. I am still wart free. I really had tried all of the cures and none of them worked. The salt made the warts come out on their own. Good luck!

This is true, I lived in Calgary and always had a problem with warts on my foot. Twice a month I would go to the doctor to get them to freeze it off. Did that for over 6 months. Still wasnt working, and I was also doing other treatments. Nothing worked. But then I moved to Vancouver, and a couple weeks later it was gone. I was always in the ocean. I live there for two years and never got one again. And now I just moved back to Calgary and i got a wart again. Must be the dry weather and also guess once when you have the wart virus then it's always in your system. Anyways it was definitely the salt water. I'm going to do this treatment here and hopefully it works, which I know it will. Thanks for posting this.

Agreed the salty sea water does work. About 15 years ago I had many warts on both of my feet. Had tried many home remedies and had them froze at the drs office. No luck with anything. went to Florida for a month and had only gone to the beach a handful of times. When I got back I.noticed my warts were gone. I did not have to do anything at all. And I haven't had another one since.

I am so thankful I found your remedy! My daughter has battled warts on her feet for a long time now & she is a marathon runner & it was getting more painful. I sent her your comments & she has been diligently putting her feet in the bottom of a wet tub, sprinkling salt on & rubbing her feet in it every day between 10 to 20 minutes a day for about 3 weeks now & they are almost gone! It is amazing! I can't say thank you enough! We are going to schedule pedicures soon!
