Use your finger to push the tick around and around (like you're trying to make it dizzy). There is something the tick doesn't like about this movement and will back itself right out. I found 2 ticks on my dog and never believed it would have worked. Both of them removed themselves in less than 20 seconds of spinning them around!

Avoid folklore remedies such as 'painting' the tick with nail polish or petroleum jelly, or using heat to make the tick detach from the skin. Your goal is to remove the tick as quickly as possible--not waiting for it to detach.

Are you sure the whole tick was removed? the head may still be left under the skin...something to think about

tried this, but twisted and pulled a little like unscrewing a screw.. the whole tic came out and was alive - a few goes but works like a charm!

Tried this on a tick that was buried deep. It took a while before the tick backed up but it did enough that I pulled it off the rest of the way. It came out whole and alive.

I tried this method last night. To remove a tick. I tried several others didn't work. But when I moved it around for about 20 seconds. It dropped off. Wow. It was amazing so easy to. I didn't think it was going to work. But it did great. Thank you so much for information.

Just found a tick on my dog used google and this came up!! Like 2 seconds later it came out!! Thank you for sharing this with us

Its not easy to remove all the ticks from dog's body if they replicate.I manually removing the ticks from the body.I used medicines and shampoos .Nothing works out .Last option is injection for removing the ticks.Which is difficult task.
