My Heartburn home remedies are good ways of getting over heartburn and acid reflux worries. I personally have tried many of these and they did cure my indigestive issues quickly, they helped more than temporary heartburn medications that you will often find at the stores, pharmacies and supermarkets.

Antacids and Acid Blockers are the two main types of drugs available for the treatment of acid reflux and heartburn also referred to as gerd. They are not home remedies for heartburn.

Think of it, if you find yourself in the midst of such worry at late night and you are out of these drugs, what would you do? Or if you reside in locations where heartburn and acid reflux medications are not accessible, what would you do? What if there were no doctors to consult for advice, what would you do?

My answers is, simply turn from medications and make use of the heartburn home remedies which has the natural cure for heartburn (gerd) and acid reflux disease.

So, let me show you list of heartburn home remedies tips that I think are the most effective home remedies for heartburn so you can try them out.

Natural honey for my heartburn home remedies:
Two teaspoon of pure, undiluted, unprocessed and unheated natural honey would reduce heartburn and acid reflux irritation if taken after meal because, it is well known for being an antioxidant, antiviral and antibacterial.

Baking soda, lemon juice and water:
This remedy for heartburn and acid reflux is the best in my opinion for temporary relief of heartburn. I would suggest that you perform this over the kitchen sink, as the fizzling of this flood would flood over the glass. First, get a tall glass, put two tablespoon of baking soda. Fill the glass ½ full with cold water. Pour one fresh squeezed lemon juice in the baking soda solution. Try to drink this as quickly as possible, as it is the fizz and water that will relieve your heartburn irritation. Note that this remedy produces sodium in the system.

Chamomile tea for heartburn relief:
Stress is a major cause to heartburn and acid reflux therefore; the relaxing properties of chamomile will help reduce your stress. Add two teaspoon of dried chamomile to about 1 ½ cups of boiling water. Let it seep for about 10 – 15 minutes, then stir and drink.

Organic Apple Cider Vinegar:
This method of home remedy for heartburn is very easy yet effective. Whenever heartburn symptoms occur, simply drink a teaspoon of organic apple cider vinegar and immediately wash it down with a glass of water. If you cannot find organic apple cider vinegar, regular apple cider vinegar will also work.

These are just a few of my heartburn home remedies tips that I have picked up through the years, mind you, results may vary from person to person, but THEY DID WORK FOR ME and completely CURED my Acid Reflux And Heartburn worries ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!

You are using way way too much baking soda. The recommended dose is 1/2 teaspoon in 4 ounces of water.

I tried the baking soda, water, and lemon juice. I instantly puke my guts out but I do have to say it did work. There's nothing worse than getting up in the middle of the night with horrible heartburn and being pregnant you only have so many options. In the end it DID work so thank you

Yes, way too much baking soda. I followed to a t and while the heart burn is gone, my stomach was upset within a few minutes. I bet 1/2 teaspoon would do it.

I couldn't commit to the lemon juice remedy, but I tried the apple cider vinegar remedy and it worked within the minute. Yes, it tasted awful, the smell was really the worst part, but as soon as I started to drink the water, my heartburn was gone. I'll be using this technique often, so I will go out and buy the organic. I used regular apple cider vinegar and it worked awesome!

Too much baking soda! Instant vomitus...lol....no no no...please I hope people read the comments before trying that much soda...omg...it is a very projectile thing too when it happens.
Just tried the vinegar...no help yet...drinking my water...vinegar burned badly going down and still feel the burn...so I think this may have made it worse. Think I will go get my prescription tomorrow so I don't go thru this again. Thanks anyway

I purchased Bragg's organic apple cider vinegar. Not too bad taste. I'm sure it beats the baking soda! I also heard that 1 tsp. organic apple cider followed by 1 tsp. honey works well, so I'm giving that a try for a few days...3 times a day at first.

Just wanted to say the Apple Cider Vinegar & water, seems to have done the trick. Kinda like taking Buckley's, tastes awful but it works. Thank-you for the advise. :)
