7 Comments for the Poison Ivy Home Remedy

My son is allergic to poison ivy. They give him steroids and benedryl. But we found a magic potion that I swear works.

Make a paste out of egg whites and corn starch ! Make it thick and spread it evenly over the affected area. Leave it on until it dries and cracks. It will pull every bit of the poison out and will just dry up and go away ! You may have to do this a couple of times but it really works. Oh ... it works for sumac and poison oak as well. And it also will remove blackheads and dry up pimples and acne as well.

I tried this and it helped me a whole lot with my posion ivy!!!!!it helped clear a lot of it up but i had to use that for about one straight week,i also used oatmeal with baking soda and the baking soda liquid cream thing but i think this helped me the most!!!!!

How did you get it off? Just pull it off once it has dried? Or did you wash it off with warm water? This seems to be working the best for me so far.

I used it last night and the poison ivy is pretty much gone. left on my harm till it dried then put a tube sock on my arm for a couple of hours and this morning WOW.
girlfriend is going to try it for the blackheads.

wow, the bleach did nothing compared to this. Used this remedy an hour ago and my skin is no longer oily. If it keeps working, ill apply it one more time and my poison ivy should be gone. Thank you so much!!!

I have tried everything I could think of, and so far this is working the best to dry out my blisters without popping them. I have the rash on my arms, legs, chest, neck and forehead and I'm supposed to be leaving for vacation in two days. The doctor gave me steroids and two oral antihisimines, but I really wanted something to make the blisters go away fast. This might be the miracle I have been praying for!

I found this soothing.

Giving it a try. I hate pi
