I've had a toothache for 2 days. I hate to even say 'toothache' because that word doesnt describe the level of pain! The problem tooth is an upper left molar, 2nd from the back. The left side of my face is swollen & I'm running a temp of 102.2 so I know the tooth is infected. (I personally would rather have a baby sideways than have pain like this! And yes, i have given birth before so i understand yhe comparison.) Of course, it started on a Friday afternoon so I've suffered with it all weekend. Something that helped dramatically is to take a BC Powder, open it then pour 2-4 drops of Anbesol (Max strength) and make a paste; apply generously to the gums. It burns for about 30 sec but it really did help!

Toothaches can be caused by a number of different factors, but usually when you get one it is because there has been some sort of decay. The other reason for a toothache is that your tooth has been heavily filled or restored. When toothaches become very severe, the nerve inside of the tooth is usually dying or is already dead.

The best way to avoid toothaches and issues associated with them is to brush, floss and see your dentist regularly.

I tried everything, and then I tried Advil Cold An Sinus, and it got rid of the pain completely! Everyone should try this it works!!!
