Thanks everyone for the remedies, I then tried my own recipe in my room, I first put tooth paste then waited for it to dry up, wiped with a cloth dipped in yeast vinegar. The boil was big but it works wonders it's no longer painful and it's becoming smaller in less than 30min
Okay...so I am a 25 year old Hispanic female who has had boils since I was about 17. I've had them on my face (near the ear) on my inner thighs numerous times...as well as on the back of my neck..armpit...butt cheeks and most recent...on my back near the right shoulder and middle of back...I have tried almost everything to cure this damn boil problem and they still keep coming back...I want to share a list of must haves when fighting a boil...TRUST me this will work....
1) Hibiclens anti-bacterial soap
2) Prosone soap
3) Aleve/Ibuprofen/Tylenol (for pain)
4) Ichtammol ointment 20%
5) tumeric powder
6) Epsom salt
7) rubbing alcohol
8) muporicin ointment
9) garlic powder
10) manuka honey (whole foods)
11) Curad Silver Solution Gel
12) Smiles Prid drawing salve
14) vapor rub
15) milk thistle 1000mg tablet
16) large gauze
17) Bactrin (by RX only)
18) brown sugar
19) weed (just because)
Step 1: take nice hot shower...stand in the steam for a while...steam opens pores and makes skin soft...while in shower use Hibiclens to wash boil with hot water...also use a small amount of the Prosone soap to wash the boils area as we'll (not too much Prosone has steroids)
When you step out of the shower do not dry boil with towel...let air dry
step 2: lots and lots of warm/hot water compress..you can add some tumeric and Epsom salt and Hibiclens to the water you use to heat up for the hot water compress....do this for at least an hour twice a day...
Step 3: So basically the following items are for bringing up a head on a boil to make it ready to self drain:
twice a day, make a paste out of these items: tumeric, vapor rub, toothpaste, manuka honey, curad silver solution gel, Ichtammol, garlic powder, brown sugar, Epsom salt, mupirocin ointment.
Mix all of those items to form a paste like substance to spread over the boil..once boil is covered apply the smiles prod drawing salve on the top of paste to act like a sealant.
Step 4: cover with loose gauze so boil can breathe.....take pain killers as desired...smoking a joint also alleviates pain from boils....
I did this two my boil on my back and I swear it popped today while at work...drove home took of shirt (it was drenched in liquid pus and blood)...had my mother put on gloves and assist me...she did not have to barely touch the boil as it was self draining...NOTE: you will need a lot of napkins/towels, etc. it will be messy and nasty! Be prepared! It flows out of your like a river! Once the blood and pus stopped I put a thick paste of the items listed above and put a gauze over it...no pain as of right now!!! Total relief! Will keep u updated...
Btw: did not get this one cultured for Mrsa other boils did have mrsa and I was prescribed antibiotics which with no success they keep reappearing...at least this makes the process easier...hope I can help...

Please don't listen to the post that suggest putting toothpaste on a boil unless you only plan to put it on the boil for an hour or less. i left toothpaste w/ gauze on a boil i got on my butt cheek for almost a whole day and it burned my skin. and burned it bad! The boil did pop but i have a black burn on my cheek. please try prids the drawing salve!!! it really does work and is medicated for that type of thing.
I have been getting boils in my groin area for months now and even had one on my ear lobe. About two weeks ago the one one my ear got really big and infected. I'm five months pregnant and went in for a check up with my ob/gyn. She sent me straight to urgent care and they lanced it. Wow!! What excruciating pain. I said to myself never again!! I'll try some home remedies. Just two days ago one had appeared in my groin area. My husband tried to get me to go get it lanced but I refused. I got on this site and read some of the home remedies. By this time it was the size of a golf ball and very very painful! I couldn't walk and sleeping was a big challenge. I called my husband at work and told him to go to Walgreens and get some PRIDS draw out salve. Meanwhile, I'm at home soaking in hot water every few hours, washing it with antibacterial soap and applying hot compresses. As soon as he got home I washed it once more and applied the Prids and covered it with gauze. I repeated the process once more before going to bed. Guess what?? By the time my husband got up for work it had busted!! I'll keep doing the process for a few days just to make sure it all drains. So, if you have a boil and refuse to go to the hospital to have it lanced PRIDS is the way to go. I was skeptical at first but I'm glad I gave it a try!! Thank you to everyone for the great advice!! :)
I had been suffering with a boil right underneath my left butt cheek.. it was huge, red, hard, hot. I couldn't sit, stand, walk, lay down. My life had come to a stand still. I had been using a drawing Salve called PRID which has worked in the past. I got on here and saw one person had said toothpaste. I went and thank goodness we had the white Colgate paste. I could not put it on fast enough. I smothered it on and put some gauze on it. I was able to get into a semi comfortable position. Well with 2 hours it broke. I don't mean leaked. It burst open. Omg whoever the person that mentioned toothpaste. You are a life saver.
I read a bunch of them on here, Some damn right dangerous... Never put bacon or any meat near an open wound. There could be further pathogens on the meat that could get into the wound once it bursts. I get a recurrent one on my behind and the last one was extremely painful so I bathed in Epsom salts and did the floss with a towel and it burst. Followed that by applying further magnesium sulfate as a paste to the wound to encourage the poison to be drawn out.
And when I say floss I off course mean, In the one direction to check it has burst as you don't wont to keep doing that.
I'm not sure how you would apply this to other areas of the body other than make sure you get lots of magnesium sulfate both as paste and bath salts (pennies in the pounds at local pharmacies) and go to town on the area. But the behind and from what I have read in others, the genitals seems a common area this problem happens so here is your solution to it.
Everyone says boils are from infected sweat glands..hair follicles..diabetes..etc..The truth is boils cone from toxins in your body that u haven't been able to eliminate through your body's on natural defense..Do a cleanse to remove toxins from your body and u never have to worry about them again unless your body is in a toxic state..dont take no antibiotics it will just fix the problem temporary ..Cleanse your body of toxins to really see and feel the difference ..
I was looking on this cite to see if there was anything else I could do to hasten the healing of the three boils/abscesses that thought my abdomen ( resulting from insulin injection site feat hot tub party... FYI not a good combo hot tubs are pretty much staph soup ) and my groin area ( ingrown hair ) a great home. So after 2 rounds of antibiotics and introducing 'lance' to each of them they are finally getting a bit better . Dressing changes every day , yes packing was nessecary . There are 2 kinds of packing that I know of . One is a nasty 1/4 inch wick type from a brown bottle , ouch , especially when the nurse is slowly pulling it out like a damn tape worm . The other is a much friendlier cotton type that magically turns to a gel when saturated with the vile gunk that comes out of such traumatic sores. So.... I've decided to just take a capsule of tumeric suppliment and squeeze it onto a 2x2 gauze and tape it on ... Yes that stuff is pretty messy and powder , paste or whatever form a person uses ... Make sure you protect or don't give a care for whatever it is you are wearing or sitting on , mmmkay. Good . Well ... been about 1/2 hour and I've already achieved boil nervana. Thanks for the advice turmeric tutors , all well n' good. That's a big 'ahhhhh' from this gal . Turmeric gets a greatful 2 yellow thumbs up from me. ;)
Now it may sound a little silly but go ahead and get your every day toothpaste! Put that on the boil and it should come to a head in 5-10 minutes. If you want it to start draining and you already have a head on the boil, put a lot of toothpaste on it (cover it up with a bandage so you are prepared for drainage) and also make sure you do this before going to bed. In the morning you should see that it has drained. You may have to do this for a few days.😊
I came to work today, walking funny and in much pain on day 3 of my ingrown hair boil. After reading a portion of another remedy, looking for something to abate the pain, I remembered as a teen when we couldn't afford acne medicines my mom had me put toothpaste, PASTE not gels, on a pimple. Sure enough the next morning it was smaller and sometimes had even burst. Well let me testify that at 3 pm I put a dab of Colgate on it, nothing else so it could dry. I have to do a lot of walking on my job so at 3:45 I noticed the pain was less. When I checked, low and behold, it had burst. In another post someone stated not to push(squeeze)but pull on the skin and believe me it's less painful pulling.
