After my mother became seriously ill with Alzheimer's disease and just laid in bed not wanting to get up, I started experimenting with coconut oil (in the form of dark chocolate (which I make myself)). Flash-forward a few years to today, and my mother has been completely normal for about a week. It seems that a big amount of the chocolate (i.e. 6 pieces) is all that is required.
To help fend off Alzheimer's Disease, eat a diet full of fresh fruits and vegetables, exercise at least 30 minutes per day at least 3 times per week so that you find it a bit difficult to talk as you are exercising (a brisk walking pace is a good example), drink 8-10 avg. glasses of water per day (sip all day if you find it hard to drink a full glass at once) and do crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, sudoku, or math problems everyday. Exercising your brain is just as important as exercising your body when it comes to helping it defend against Alzheimer's Disease!
