6 Home Remedies for Nail Care

JJ

Since taking a tablespoon or so of food grade diatomaceous earth dissolved in water every few days for the last few months my nails have become noticably stronger.

As added benefit, it's also good for hair, skin, teeth and bone - lots of trace minerals, especially silica, the safe kind/food grade.

Found mine on Amazon last year 20 lbs. for $40 shipping included...has many other good uses too!

To keep my nails strong and healthy, I rub them with Olive Oil every day. Just dip a cotton ball in the oil and rub into your nails. Then let it soak in for awhile. Also, I don't paint my nails that often, since it's not that good for your nails, along with nail polish remover. This remedy made my nails really strong and nice, and it also decreased the number of hang nails and peeled nails that I had. Hope this works for you!

Paint decolorized iodine onto your nails once a day for a week, then every other day for a week, then continually paint it onto your nails once a week. My nails were never very strong, they were always flimsy and easily broken, especially since i hate drinking milk in anything besides cereal. Try it!!
