Each remedy i tried worked... for a few days. then it was like the fungus figured out how to fight it and took over again. for a week now i've been switching out several remedies and i'm starting to see good results. a.m - urine. after work - medicated cream. walk the dog - clean socks and vicks vapo rub. evening - vinegar soak. bedtime - honey and clean socks. and lysol sprayed in my shoes every evening. it's tiresome, but my feet feel and look human again.

I'm back and writing again just to testify that after 40 years of misery, I am now nearly

***** TWO YEARS ATHLETES FOOT FREE!*****

******** VINEGAR RULES!!! **************

I'm making spreading the word about VINEGAR instead of all the toxic anti-fungal creams and drugs my personal mission. I still fume when I think of all the money wasted, and the pain and suffering I needlessly endured

Finally The gritty hand towels I used for the ferocious itch at night no longer reside in my nightstand. No more hours 'cleaning up' before a professional pedicure. No more ugly peeling feet on the beach. No more trying on only one shoe in the shoe store. LIFE IS GOOD!!!

VINEGAR is the way to go. Apple CIDER VINEGAR or WHITE VINEGAR either will do.
Some like to dilute and soak, personally I liked a full strength spray.

BUT, If for any reason you don't feel VINEGAR is working for you, no matter what cure you try, be sure to treat or disinfect ALL shoes, socks, and surfaces too. They are where the FUNGUS LIVES ON just waiting to RE-CONTAMINATE your feet.

That explains why all of the expensive creams only work for a while, The fungus is alive and well just waiting for you to run out of it.

LONG LIVE VINEGAR!!!

Cedarwood is the most natural way for fighting athlete's foot and similar foot diseases. It's because of it's antifungal attributes mother nature has invented.

In practice you can use special cedarsoles - insoles made from cedar wood. They stop any fungal infections.

After mistakenly thinking I was suffering from vaginal thrush (turned out it was actually an allergy to scented loo roll!) I gave up most sugar and started to take grapefruit seed extract daily (a powerful antifungal I believe). Unexpectedly Made my athletes foot disappear!

All I got to say is URINE!!!

I know, it sounds disgusting, but it works. I've had chronic athlete's foot majority of my life. The medications don't work very much, and I've very impatient.

Idea: when you're taking a shower, pee on your affected foot/feet. It'll stop the problem, and then you can immediately rinse it off, then clean it.

If you want more effective way of doing it, pee on the affected foot/feet, let it settle on you, then turn on the water then clean yourself.

By the way, I hope your drain works well.

I have had athletes foot for 12 years and my friend told me to pee on it. im not lieng if you do this for atleast 5 days it will be gone. worked in an instant.

Fungal Wife

All I can say is nothing works if you are married and your spouse seems to like having it. I never had it until I married my 'fungus' man. NOW Just my left foot...go figure? I can't ... oh well. I am going to try the salt and apple vinger. He won't do anything. he just gets in bed and uses a sock to rub his feet. then scrubs them on the carpet. He just seems to think its my issue because I am bothered. That 'eveyone' has it. ARGH. Thanks

Try it. I've had athletes foot for over 25 years, tried a LOT of things T tree oil( gave bad reaction, blisters etc etc etc) Garlic, silver solutions sprayed on feet, a silver rod in my shoes, other things i can't remember, and of course the countless (harmfull) creams and talcs. OOOOHH HONEY! - Didn't work.

So any way came across this site advising apple cider. I tried it undiluted( you might want to be carefull with the white vinegar, i found it to be very agressive) and needles to say it worked, i found a direct imrovement the next day with excess skin caused by the fungus, peeling off. THIS WAS THE first day. Acually the first day i tried it i knew something was changing i knew it. I tried it again last night and i will keep on doing it for the next comming weeks. I am hundred percent clear this will solve my athletes foot and i urge ANYONE to try it,please . .

I never felt so clean, and i tell you: it really ups your chance of getting a nice girlfriend.

Peace. . .

My 3 year old has Athele's Foot from wanting to walk around barefoot everywhere. I hated the idea of using those strong harsh OTC creams on her, so I looked around for home remedies. She was crying because it hurt so bad, so I combined a few of the home remedies and this is what is working for her:

-foot soak with 8 cups warm water and 1 cup Epsom salt
-rinse
-foot soak with 8 cups lukewarm water and 2 cups vinegar for 10 minutes
-rinse
-a quarter-sized amount of Cortisone 10, rubbed in well
-light dusting of baking soda

I sprayed her sneakers with Lysol and set them up to dry. In the morning, I plan on rinsing her feet with vinegar and water, rubbing more Cortisone cream on her toes and applying more backing soda before putting her socks and shoes on.

It will drive you crazy.... the insane burning, itching and peeling. I tried a number of things this last time (i've had it before but this last time was the WORST).... and the best three things that helped me clear it up (and stop it from driving me crazy)...

1. Soaked my foot in hot water, apple cider vinegar and epsom salt. It will sting a little... but the longer you last the better the relief

2. Friar's Balsam (the brand i used is herb farm), applied undiluted morning and evening after spraying the affected area w/peroxide and drying.

3. Vicks VapoRub applied before bed (very soothing).

I'm practically clear in two days... and I've already suffered for more than a week w/it.

Hope this helps.
