for wart removal. My 9 year old son had a least 20-25 warts on one hand. He is terrified of doctors. We used apple cidar vinegar with no success. My husband got compound w band aids but you could only use 1 for each wart. It was very difficult. I looked at the ingredients and discovered it was Aspirin. So i bought plain Aspirin 325 mg tablets, crushed it into a powder, made a thin paste and rubbed it over the warts. I put it on at night before bed, covered them with duck tape (there were a lot of warts), then removed it the next morning. I did 3 treatments 1 night a week. They are gone!!!!! I am shocked at how fast it worked. I should have taken before and after pictures. This process was completely painless, as my son is the biggest wimp.( He has to have nitrous every time he goes to the Dentist.) I recommend this to any one in my situation.

to get ride of warts (eney kind of warts)us duck tape. Very strange but it works, put the duck tape on your wart or warts, leave it on all day then when you wake up the next day take the duck tape off and your warts are gone. My cousin told my sisster about it and me. my sisster unforchunatly picked at her warts to much so it diddnt work for her. but it worked for my cousin. The best part is there is no pain at all. Pain free.

A sure way to get rid of warts is lemon juice. I had literally over 100 warts on both hands. My Mom has a home remedy book that said to out lemon juice on them. I used a q-tip and rubbed them all generously with lemon juice every night before I went to bed. It was a while before they disappeared, but they did, never to return again!

Here's is the best remover yet. Apply a bit of Apple cider Vinegar to the wart with a Q-tip and then cover it with a Band-aid every night and in 1 to 2 weeks it will be gone. I tried it and it workes better than anything out there.

Tea. That was it. I just had to drink tea.

After years and years of trying literally everything I heard could cure warts: duct tape, aldara, tea tree oil, vinegar, bleach, compound w, banana peels- I cant even remember what all I did- I finally got rid of them by the easiest way possible. No smell, no obvious marks.

I had warts for years. Started as one on my knee. Spread all over my hands, all over my knees. I wore pants and hid my hands as best I could. I couldnt shave my legs because they would spread.

I started drinking tea for the caffeine. I'm not sure how much later it was that I realized one of the bigger clusters on one of my hands was getting flatter, a few weeks max. And then I remembered one stray sentence about someone who 'might have recommended drinking three glasses of green tea a day.' Well, I was drinking black tea, but I switched to green tea. And its a miracle. The warts just fade, just get smaller and smaller. And it went for the worst ones first. I want to tell everyone who has warts.

Of course, what worked for me might not work for everyone, as things that worked for other people never worked for me. I just kept experimenting. And I know I had a poor immune system (obviously if my body wouldnt fight off the virus for so long), and I have a rather poor diet mostly based around refined sugar. Bad. So maybe the tea only boosted my immune system and finally allowed my body to fight. If that's not your problem it might not work.

This was all recent, so I dont know if the warts will stay away. I'm just going to keep drinking green tea. Has lots of other health benefits. I can't stop looking at my hands!

I had warts for years when i was younger. between my two hands i had about 11 of them. i tried everything to get rid of them. i took a prescribed pill that did nothing, picked them off which hurt badly and they came right back. i had them frozen off which hurts and they grew right back! i tried it all. finally my mother heard about liquid coloidial silver at a local health store. i started taking about a shot once a day. its tasteless and painless. within a month the warts did not fall off but slowly inverted. i have now been wart free for over 5 years. did wonders for me! hope it will for you too.

home remedy for plantar warts:
before retiring for the night,
heat some jaggery in a spoon. apply it to the wart and use a piece of tape to secure it. takes about 6 weeks but the wart including the inside buried part falls off. a plantar wart is like an iceberg, 10% visible, 90% buried under the skin.

After a year of creams from the dermatologist and hundreds of dollars later, I decided to ditch the doctor and go for the apple cider vinegar and duct tape. My 8 year old had lots of flatwarts on her forehead and on her hands. Every night we dab on the vinegar with a q-tip and after it dries we put duct tape on it and she takes it off in the morning. It's been 2 weeks and the forehead ones are ALL gone! Unbelievable! Now we are going to try the hands! And just to think I could have saved hundreds of dollars!!!! TRY IT!!!

Apple Cider Vinegar for warts! Wow! This worked so well. I had a wart on my thumb knuckle and a big one next to the thumb nail. I tried all the doctor's remedies with no luck. The one near my nail was starting to spread under the nail. I read about the ACV treatment on this site and it works!
I did what some people suggested, q-tip cotton part, soak in ACV and tape over wart with bandage. After about 20 minutes it was throbbing like crazy. Kept it on overnight, the next morning, my thumb was throbbing but the two warts were black. As I let the air get to them, they formed a scab like top. Yeah, it's gross looking, but after 7 hours they were already black. I reapplied the next day for a couple hours. Then today (three days later) the scabs came off with a little prying. There's just a 'hole' where the wart was. Covering it now with polysporin and band-aid. Hopefully they are gone for good! Thanks for the great remedy!!
1. It does throb quite a lot. It's worth it.
2. Don't get nervous about the black color, the wart has to die first.
3. Keep at it! Don't worry about the skin aroud the wart. It'll be fine. It may get all wrinkly and pruney but it'll be fine!
YEA! No Warts!

Two of my children had warts on there feet this summer. The oldest 10 had 1 wart and was easily removed using the apple cider vinegar (ACV). The youngest 7 years old had 3 warts on her feet. I put vaseline around the wart to protect the good skin and then took a small piece of a cotton ball and soaked it in ACV. The cotton ball was placed over the wart and kept in placing using scotch tape. I tried medical tape but it was more costly and scotch tape stayed on better. The warts while stubborn would eventually go away but then a new one would pop up. My daughter could tell when one was starting because it hurt to press on the area. Since on the new warts we were starting with the ACV right away they would not take as long to go away. However, again another wart would form somewhere else on her foot. This went on for about 1 1/2 months. Finally I went to the nature food store and they recommended thuja occidentalis and the pills were the size of a pin head. Also she was able to suck on them not swallow. For an adult they recommended 5 pills 3x's a day. Since she is a child I did 2 pills 3x's a day. Once she started taking the thuja the warts started clearing up faster with the ACV. She has been wart free for over a month now. Yea.

About 3 days the wart started to turn black and I can see the spot. And let me tell you the first week of the treatment it didn't hurt or bother me at all. But now its realllllllllly painful!!!!! Its like constantly throbbing pain and burning ughhh I can't wait for it to go away forever!!!! Its worth the wait and pain

Hi. I had a plantar wart about a month ago. I went to the doctor an had it frozen off but it just came right back with 3 lil' buddies. I read a lot of remedies and decided to try a few out.

On the largest of my warts i used lemon juice, which made sense sjnce it is acidic. I put it on a cottn ball and used bandages to hold it down, an finished it off with a sock to hold it. Ilefy it on allday and night, except to change it, and it worked within a week and this wart has not come back yet.

I used duct tape.on a smaller one. It worked okay, but i guess it depends.

On the original.one thatcame back i used a store bouggtmedication. I forgt wat it was, butit didnt work n i ended up using lemon juice on that too.

And the last and littlest, i used duct tape agin a ot workedfor this one. On the other one i used lemon juice again

All in all, i guess it just depnds.

A friend of mine told me that he rubbed a regular garden slug (not a snail) on his daughters wart and it disappeared. I tried it. Do not wash off the slime for as long as you can. I rubbed a slug(slime) on the wart on the top of my finger twice within a couple of days and went on working outside on the yard. A few days I forgot about it,looked at my finger and it was gone. It may take one or two rubbs from a slug in a few days but it worked for me.

Wart - every night, for about 8 weeks i put a cotton ball dampened with lemon juice (from a bottle)on the wart, held on by a band-aid. It is not painful, which is why I tried this on my children. It doesnt seem to do much at first, but after a while, it looks like it is getting grainy, and then it starts to fall apart.

We tried vitamin E, which had worked for me in the past, but it didnt do anything for my kid's warts. We tried the home freeze off kit, but that just made it bleed. Then i had the idea of trying lemon juice, because it is acidic, and i know from past experience that citric acid is a good exfoliant, and ascorbic acid helps with healing, both of which are in lemon juice. I liked to put some Vitamin E on it during the day, but i dont know if this helped or not, and i was sporadic about it. I often forgot to put the lemon juice on at night, so it may work faster for those that are more diligent, or for those that keep it on all day, instead of ripping it off in the morning like my kids did.

Two years ago I had some keratosis warty growths on my back and one had turned black and looked like a melanoma. The doc sent me for surgery straightaway. Some months ago I again noticed one on my cheek and another on my stomach. I cut a garlic bulb in half and with a plaster taped one half over each wart. After 24 hours I took them off and remained with dark red skin patches in both places. It was quite ugly but obvious the garlic had done strong work. I had those red marks for two weeks but now my skin is smooth and nice with no keratoses. Better than them being cut and stitched!

My boyfriend had warts all over his fingertips. Around the nail bed. One was so bad and deep rooted it was affecting his nail and it was becoming dis figured. He had them frozen several times, was using duct tape and was filing them till they bled. The gp had told him he would be stuck with them for a while.
So i ordered some apple cider vinegar from a farm. A cloudy kind with 'the mother' in.
We started treament straight away. Every evening id soak a small cotton wool piece. Enough to cover wart. Cover with a plaster and id put some tape over. First night no pain, but some nights he couldnt sleep they burned quite bad. After about a week for the big one it went black, we carried on. Then on a few occasions we forgot to do the treatment. The area was still swollen so it was hard to see the progress. But all of a sudden he turned to me and they were all gone. The skin around the biggest was normal again. He thinks its a miracle, and cant wait to show his gp!
My advice is persevere with it, if its going black carry on and give your finger chance to breath every day.

The apple cider vinegar on cotton covered with a bandage works like a charm. I used it first on myself to check if it hurt. It didnt and removed my wart in a couple days. Then I used it on my eight year old son. He had probably 40 warts on his knees, feet and they had begun to spread to his ankles and arms. We had gone to the dermatologist probably a dozen times. The liquid the dr was using didnt seem to help and the freezing was really painful. I saw the apple cider remedy on the internet and decided to use it.
My sons warts are completely gone. I have also recommended it to a nephew. His wart completely disappeared also. Very simple, inexpensive and effective remedy.

I've had a huge plantar wart on the bottom of my foot for who knows how long, I tried to dig it out and that worked for about a month then it came back with four little friends. I didn't want to go to the doctor so I looked up home remedies for plantar warts and found this site. I read on here about all these crazy remedies for plantar warts and I saw a lot of people were having success with Apple Cider Vinegar so I figured I'd try it. It was only 1.29 at Meijer. I dipped cotton balls in it and taped them with duct tape over each of my 5 warts and left it on for about 7hrs while I was doing my daily routine. I just went to change the dressings and holy crap, it's working! The warts were all white and I clipped off all the excess skin with nail clippers and reapplied the ACV. I thought all these comments might be BS, but I saw improvement after 7hrs. I'm so excited. A few more days of this and hopefully I'll be wart free! Thank you so much everyone for your remedies!

The following is a list of things you will need to create the mixture…

1. Small Bottle of Castor Oil (widely available at local grocery and drug stores)

2. Plain Old Baking Soda

Step 1:
Mix a teaspoon of Castor Oil with just enough baking soda to make a thin paste. Not cake like or crumbly, if that happens, you will need to add more oil.

NOTE: For genital warts, use only the castor oil – do not mix with or use the baking soda. Castor oil only!

Step 2:
Once in the morning and once in the evening…

Rub a small amount into the mole or wart until somewhat absorbed (will take
approximately 1 or 2 minutes). Then apply a little more and cover with a Band-Aid.

Keep this up until the mole or wart shrivels and disappears. Usually takes from 3 days to 3 weeks for them to fall out.

Since everyone is different, the process may take longer for some keep doing this until the mole, wart or skin-tag has completely fallen off.

You can take a shower and all just remember to reapply the mixture and cover with a Band-Aid after you have
showered.

If you find you are sensitive to the baking soda you may just use the Castor Oil alonewith the Band-Aid, and it will work also. It will just be a little slower in some cases.

My daughter had many warts on her hands and around her finger nails. She used Apple cider vinegar on cotton wool applied to some of the warts for about 8 hours during weekends .These warts turned white then black, then they scabbed over and dropped off. She also has a daily dose of high strength Echinacea and a liquid vitamin and iron supplement.
Warts are said to be caused by an immature immune system and Echinacea is an immunity booster.Even though all of the warts have not been treated they are all disappearing and the skin underneath is like new.
When I read about this remedy I didn't believe it either so if you are suffering too why not give it a go

My son had several warts on his hands and on his feet. We put fish oil on them and then a layer of baking soda when he went to bed for the night. This is a miraculous cure ! It works in a matter of a few days. No warts, and they never came back. Another great remedy for warts is Castor Oil.One of our horses had 100's of warts on his nose. A $3.00 bottle of castor oil was all it took !

I have to admit, I was purely skeptical, BUT, the apple cider vinegar thing really really works. There are a few down falls that one should know. But, the benefits far outway those negatives. First, buy the Heinz version of the apple cider vinegar and the band aides that are water proof. if you buy cheap band aides, the moment they get a little wet, they won't stick. I put a one inch self stick gauze wrap that really helped in the process. But basically, I took a cotton ball and pulled a little piece off and soaked it in the vinegar to absorb it. I squeezed the access off so it was wet but not dripping. I then placed it in the center of the band aid as to nt the stick parts wet and applied it to the wart. I had a bunch of them so I did the same process for all. I then wrapped the entire shaft with the self stick quaze wrap (basically a one inch ace bandage) to seal the band aides and to help them not come off while i slept. I removed it in the morning, washed, and went about my day and repeated the process the next fews nights. With a day or two they turned black, but I continued the process until they started to flake off. The only negatives: it smells bad, it burns, and is a long process in terms of putting it on. But within a week, they were gone and now the skin is healing. The larger ones take longer then the smaller ones, but you will see a difference with in a few days.

I've had warts and my doctor has burnt them off and trust me, it's not very nice! Listen to this remedy, and I strongly recommend that you try it.

1. Soak a small piece of onion in vinegar over night.
2. In the morning put the piece of onion over the wart, and use a bandaid to hold it in place. Keep the piece of onion on your wart all day.

3. Before you go to bed, apply a fresh piece of onion that had been soaked during the day.

Follow these steps for a whole week, and each day use a fresh piece of onion. If you feel you need to apply a fresh piece of onion during the day, etc, do so. It's important to be hygenic.

After following out these steps, your warts will vanish. Make sure that you do not pick at your wart, because you don't want to put germs into it and make the procedure longer. This has worked for my father, my sister and for me. I hope it works for you!

Put several drops of apple cider vinegar on a bandaid and tape over the wart. Add more vinegar to the bandaid once or twice a day, or before going to bed at night. If you keep the bandaid on 24 hours a day, the wart will turn white and crumbly and rub off within a week. If you have several warts, you only have to treat one of them, somehow the body gets rid of the rest. My family has used this trick for 40 years, it works for everyone. I don't know if white vinegar will work, we always use the brown apple cider kind. Warts on the fingers are the easiest to get rid of because you can wrap the bandaid securely around the finger. Plantar warts on the bottom of the feet are more difficult, as the bandaid dries out.

For Common warts, Use white or apple cider vinegar. Soak a piece of cotton about the size of the wart in vinegar. Lay it on the wart, then cover with a bandaid. YES IT WORKS I had tried for months with wart removers to no avail. In only three to four days, the wart was falling off and now two weeks later you can barely see where it was !! This is Amazing. I wont spend money on drugs for this again !!

I know there is only a test for women but I am pretty sure if you have the symptoms you have the virus. So I am trying the supplement for now and seeing what happens. You should be able to get Diindolylmethane at any nutrition store the only one I found for a good price was Vitanet.com bout 20 bucks for 120 tabs.

I followed some of the advice on here. My wart came off in a day! I was soo relieved because ive had it for months. I actually have 3 small ones but I used the home remedy on just one to test the theory. The one that I used it one was the biggest and i really wanted that one gone! the other two are really small so I knew that if it can work on the big one the smaller two should be easy.

Remedy: saftey pin, matches, lighter, hydrogen peroxide, tea tree oil.
I heated the wide head of the saftey pin till red, and applied on my wart several times, until it didn't hurt as much anymore. Then I used the matches a couple times. I noticed shrinking as I was burning them. Then I added hydrogen peroxide. Later that night I applied tea tree oil. Next morning, it peeled off. To make sure it doesn't come back, I burned the area again with a couple matches, then applied tea tree oil again.

Ive moved on to the smaller ones, those should peel right off too!

Hope this helps! Good luck! Dont be a victim u can really fight this.

I tried apple cider vinegar and duct tape. They started to work but they irritated my skin. Then I tried Zinc oxide cream for nappy rash etc. I applied this three times a day, and the warts were gone within a week. Zinc oxide is good for lots of skin conditions eg. red/blotchy skin/spots/sunburn, so I thought it might work on warts too. My cream also contained castor oil.

Hi,

About 2 months ago I had 1-2 Warts on my neck. I think they got cut when I shaved and then I got a whole bunch of them on my neck.
I visit the skin specialist, he confirmed it was HPV and told me the only option is Laser Treatment.
I wanted to keep this as a last resort and try out alternate treatments first.
I have been taking Homeopathy medicine for the last 20 days with little effect.
The Warts seemed to be growing. 2 Days ago I got Duct tape, Hydrogen Peroxide and Apple Cidar Vinegar.
I cleaned the Warts with Hydrogen Peroxide for 7-10 minutes, then I used cotton balls soaked in ACV for 30 mins. After this I cover the warts with Duct Tape. I have done this 2 times, and the warts have changed color to white now.
Should I continue with this. After how many days can I expect them to turn Black, and then eventually fall off.

My daughter had severaldozen plantar warts around her mouth and on her cheek. I steeped Elderberry tea, had her drink the tea, and applied the teabag directly on the warts(dabbing on the excess tea). After about 2 weeks, the warts were gone without a trace.

Nobody likes to have warts so when they started appearing on my skin I had to get rid of them fast because they made me grossed out!!

I tried all the box stuff and nothing worked and I have the weirdest skin, everything for me has to be natural.

On your wart, just put ductape on it and leave it on for about 1-2 days. When you take it off, the wart will have sufficated and will come right off!

Had a pea sized wart on my ankle and it didn't go away for a whole year. I tried Dr. Scholls freeze off dual action which coupled freezing and salicylic acid drops. Nooooo help with that. It took months of patience to learn that neither work. Then I bought 40% salicylic acid patches because I thought maybe a stronger concentration of the acid would work. No avail. So finally I tried apple cider vinegar and it went away in two weeks. Just fell off tonight. So that's why I'm writing about it. Because it worked!

I have a virus in my body that many others also have. It's called the 'WART'. I have gotteo them as a child from one place or another on my body.
My mother would tell me to take a
Q-Tip or cotton and put bleach on the wart. (IT DOES NOT BURN}.
If you do this once or twice a day for approx. a week to a week and a half.
I can all but promise you your wart will be gone. It sure did wonders for mine. You can't even hardly see any scars. TRY IT !!! what do u have to loose?

I have warts on both hands, especially around the nails. for about 3 weeks I have been covering them with clear nail polish, and putting duct tape on the coated warts as soon as I get home in the evening. I leave it on until morning when I apply a fresh coat of polish. I have noticed a severe reduction in size and color. The main thing is keeping oxygen from getting to the warts. I have heard that these remedies and others may take up to 12 weeks or longer, so stay the course whatever you try! Good luck!

SUPER GLUE

My brother and I had both gotten them quite a bit when we were growing up and could never get rid of them until...one day I had accidentally gotten superglue on the wart, and because I didn't want to feel pain trying to get it off of me, I left it there hoping it would come out on it's own. Well, I'm glad I did b/c it started going away immediately! You feel absolutely nothing with this remedy, which is even better.

Natural REMEDY - completely painless - works like a miracle every single time!!!!!
I had a big plantar wart in my heel about two years ago. After about a year of fighting with it, I had it surgically removed. I was ok for like 4 months, then I noticed another one forming right next to the scar of the previous one. Time passed, it got big and extremelyyyyyyyyy painfullll. I took a vow that I will never go with the surgery again, so I tried banana peel, garlic, apple cider vinegar, duct tape, pineapple, thuja ointment + the thuja pills (From BOIRON - homeopathic treatment for warts). NOTHINGGGGG worked, and not only that those remedies didn't work but i started having more and more. Two weeks ago I ad a total of 7 plantar warts - a big one and 6 little ones around it. I literally could not put my foot on the ground. Anyways - while talking to my grandfather in Bulgaria who is 86 years old - he said the best treatment for plantar warts is PROPOLIS (as in bee propolis) - he said he had a big one in his heel when he was young -and he applied the actual propolis...the raw version directly on the wart and just kept it there. Of course, you cannot find raw propolis here in US at least I didn't find any. So I bought the TINCTURE. IT IS 16 DOLLARS A BOTTLE and is called Y.S. Organic Bee Farms - 70% Ultra Strength Propolis - Full Potency Bioflavonoids.
SOOOO: I applied every morning and every night a goodddd layer of propolis..by the way..and then I put a gauze pad on top, fix my leg with the ACE elastic bandage to keep the pad in place and then went to sleep or whatever. The next day, the propolis becomes hard..and it forms kinda like a crust..so when you remove it..it almost feels like you are removing a very thin layer of your skin..but you are not, don't worry. It just feels like it really really cleans your skin.
I have two weeks since I have been doing that...I have absolutely NO PAIN IN ANY OF MY WARTS ANYMORE. THEY ARE NOT SWALLEN, TENDER ANYMORE....THE LITTLE ONES ARE ALMOST GONE, YOU CAN BARELY SEE THEM, THE BIG ONE IS STILL THERE BUT THERE IS NO MORE PAIN...AND IT HAS SHRUNK IN A WAY THAT I CANNOT BELIEVE MY EYES. SO I AM GOING TO KEEP APPLYING THE PROPOLIS UNTIL EVERYTHING IS GONE. tHERE IS NO PAIN, NO SMELL, NOTHING, JUST PLAIN MIRACLE. for the ones that are not familiar with propolis this is what the bees use to protect the hives from bacteria, viruses and fungi. It works for them, it definitely works for me. TRY IT, you are not going to regret the 16 dollars plus you don't have to deal with the smell of the ACV. If you have any questions, go ahead and ask me..i am available to guide you through this. I promised myself before I sttarted this that IF THIS REMEDY WORKS, i AM GOING TO POST IT EVERYWHERE, SO THAT PEOPLE LIKE ME AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE PAIN AND THE STRUGGLE OR TREATING PLANTAR WARTS ANYMORE.

the acv works but you have to apply pressure to the skin. this allows the cut of blood flow and help the vinegar penetrate faster. I have seen the area turn purple in five to ten minutes and the next day you will see a scab.it is all on the kind of pinching pressure you are applying and how long you do it.

I felt very optimistic about it and I ordered. I couldnt believe after having these warts for so long I was literally removing them one by one with this kit. Now I have no trace of the HPV virus in my system. I take precautions now and I don't think I will have to live with warts anymore. The Listing is from Generalessentials on Ebay. Just type in 100% TCA wart mole remover. The kit is really good with emery board and brush applicators. This is really all anyone needs with warts to remove them.

I used the Avon Tea Tree Blemish Stick to remove my warts. I just applied everynight before bed, making sure to be generous and cover the entire wart. Wait 5 mins for the liquid to harden and dry. It can take a few weeks but you will notice the wart scabbing over and shrinking in size until it eventually disappears. I can't use duct tape since I'm allergic to the glue. This method allows the wart to die while avoiding duct tape.

If they eat a 1/2 cup of yogurt mixed with 1 tbsp of Barleans cold milled ground flaxseed all the warts are gone within 2-4 weeks. This regimen is also good for keep illness at bay during the school years. It builds up the immune system.

A camera has been a valuable tool for me to treat, and monitor my warts.

i have caught the little little ones before they get large enough to see with the naked eye.

it allows us to see the true nature of these things, and the effectivness of the treatments we try.

be sure to use a steady hand and a macro setting with a flash or good, fluro lighting. it may take some practice and a few attempts to get the rights shot... but when you get it, you will be able to see whats going on.

i have been using ACV with some success.

I've had plantar warts for over 6 years. It started with one, and turned into 23. I tried most of your usual suspects -salicylic acid, ACV, etc. The salicylic acid didn't work for me. The ACV seemed to work (after a very painful couple of days of having soaked cotton bits taped in place). However, the warts I thought had died and fallen out, roots and all, came back big as ever a week or so later. I also tried some natural, and not so natural, remedies I had seen online - raw garlic (both orally, and applied directly to the warts), bleach, hydrogen peroxide, vitamin E (oral and direct application), vitamin C, greatly reducing the sugar in my diet, oregano oil (once again, direct application and oral), soaking them and digging them out, and probably some others I'm now forgetting. Most of them seemed to do nothing. The oregano oil did clear up a few very small warts that sprung up on my finger, but didn't seem to do much for my plantar warts. Needless to say, I'd become disheartened and frustrated. I hid my feet, keeping them in socks when I love to be barefoot (probably how I got them in the first place). Some people online suggested tea tree oil. I'm not sure why I would try something so harsh as bleach before trying this, but at any rate, I figured, 'Why not? A bottle is about $8 and easily available.' It worked. It worked. It worked! I started noticing one of my smaller, newer warts looking smaller after about a week or two of using it. This was probably the first time I had seen any noticeable progress. Some of the harsh chemicals would seem to turn them into pits, but they never really got any smaller and would hurt. The tea tree oil is painless, doesn't seem to stain my socks, and for me - works. I actually do not have complete resolution of all of my warts yet, but I'm down to 6 that you can hardly see unless you closely examine my foot when the tea tree oil has just been applied (it kind of makes the top layers of your skin a little easier to see into and the warts show a little then. They continue to shrink though, and I'm confident that they will be completely gone in a month or two. The tea tree oil hasn't worked quickly (it's been about 4 months that I've used it). But after so many years, I'll take slow, painless results over no results! I apply it using q-tips. I only dip clean tips into the bottle - never ones that have touched my warts! - and apply 2 times a day. I applied more often at first, maybe 4 times a day when my schedule would allow. I'm not sure this will work on everyone, but it did for me. Stick with it! You'll eventually find something that works for you.

Apply the sap from common milkweed* (Asclepias syriaca) to the wart (WARNING: THIS HAS NOT been used on genital warts). The sap is sticky, but once it dries it forms a sheen over te wart. Wash /peel it off and replace with fresh sap frequently. This doesn't hurt and is effective.

I found this wild plant on our farm in Northeast Pennsylvania. It is 4-6 feet tall with pinkish flower - Monarch butterfly larvae eat this. The plant forms seed pods filled with soft silky stuff. Just break off a leaf and the white sap oozes out. You can take a piece of the stem and wrap it in aluminum foil and refrigrate it. Just break off a piece of it to get the sap out.

I tried several doctors/specialists. They tried freezing it, burning it with acid, cutting it off and drilling holes in it (really). Each time it came back bigger and in some cases spread. I ended up with a large mosaic wart and some smaller ones nearby. Through the treatments and all it was about 8 years.
I noticed that duct tape would limit its growth but would not kill it. I do believe warts need air for some reason or at least the kind I had does. I also noticed that for some reason when I was taking antibiotics (to fight off a different problem) that the wart got smaller. I only had a week’s worth of Zmax which didn't kill it.
I had pretty much given up and figured I'd never be rid of the warts. One day while I was looking at the acid cream that the doctor had given me which hurt my foot and didn't work, I determined I would not put that on my foot any more. However, I wanted to put something on it so I grabbed some generic triple antibiotic topical cream. I covered the warts with it and let it sit. I thought that like the duct tape it would keep it from breathing and maybe the antibiotic would have an effect too. It worked way better than I figured it would. The wart was actually sucking the antibiotic cream in. I think it may have sucked it in all the way to the 'seeds'. It started noticeably shrinking immediately. I covered the warts with cream and let it sit as long as I could each day and in one week a one inch mosaic wart that I'd had for 8 years was gone. The little warts disappeared too. I couldn't believe how it healed so quickly too and without the pain of acid, surgery, blistered skin from freezing. I don't know if this will work on the wart you may have but since it doesn't hurt and is fairly cheap, I figure it's worth a try.

EASY! BLEACH. First use nail file or dremel tool sanding bit to sand down dry hard top surface of wart. Apply a drop of bleach to plantar wart or growth to hand using Q-tip - let air dry. Cover with bandaid (to decrease oxygen exposure and keep the bleach from getting on other things - warts love oxygen!). Repeat daily for one week. No potatoes, no duct tape - EASY and it works! **SHORT AND SWEET**

I had a whole heap of plantar warts on my fingers right up next to my nails for about a year and had gotten them frozen by various doctors but they never went away completely. They were pretty tenacious things, one doctor even told me it'd be impossible to get rid of them without removing the entire nail and getting laser treatment (I knew that wasn't true but that just shows that they must have looked pretty bad). I tried a wart remover from the chemist but it wasn't very effective and also caused infection. Then I looked up some natural remedies and firstly tried acv which did absolutely nothing. After that I cut some small pieces of garlic and placed them over the warts and held them there using tape for about half an hour. Now I have a pretty high pain threshold but this hurt like absolute hell. It burned and stung but only on the warts, not on the bits of healthy skin that the garlic was touching. So I knew it was actually doing something. Pretty much straight away the warts started going black and after applying the garlic a few more times for short periods (20-40 minutes) over the next few days big chunks of the wart became black and dead and really easy to just peel off. And they didn't get infected. They did come back a few weeks later but they were tiny, so I just used the garlic again (it hurt less this time) and now they're completely gone. It's been months sice then so I don't think they're coming back. It was so worth the pain

I promised myself that I will share my findings about mosaic plantar warts if I ever got rid of it. So I had pretty much tried everything from duct tape, banana peels, over the counter drugs, sea salt, walking on the beach, and doctors. All failed. For people who have sweaty feet, those methods above will not work. The best method I found was to just let my feet be out in the open so it will dry up. Try to not put any pressure on it and do not wear socks or shoes. Over time, it will dry out and it will go away. Just make sure that it stays dry. For people who have sweaty feet, putting duct tape on it will make it worst because the sweat will my it swell up.

To remove a wart, first, during the day, put a piece of cotton in apple cider vinegar. Put it on your wart and leave it for about a half hour. After this, clip off the raised dead skin. Then, during the night put a thick layer of nail polish on the wart and cover it with CLEAR SCOTCH TAPE. In the morning, remove the tape and file the wart with a pumice stone. Repeat the process until the wart is gone, but only file the wart every other day. Also, if you don't want to clip the wart after the vinegar, shave off the dead skin with a razor.

Then it started to grow, and the fingernail next to it turned a little yellow at the edges, plus it hurt, so I decided to so something about it. I though maybe i could pull it out (rubbish idea!) but i managed to get to where the said of where bootom of the wart was - beneath is is soft skin, but it hurt so much i couldnt actually pull it out. Plush all my friends began to notice too, so im trying this other vinegar (white wine) which is out of date, and I hope this has made it more acidic!. Any how has anyone had anything like this??? Then apply alcohol or an alcohol wipe until it's practically numb, in the coming days it will be a scab, but when the scab heals the wart is gone. I've done this to several different warts, and it has worked every time.

Crush the wart. Your body will fight them off once the infection is detected by the cells that fight infections. Cruching the wart releases some of its virus into the blood stream and the body will release cells to kill off the virus.
A vet told me this as a remedy to foot warts on the dairy herd. I tried it on my own wart. I don't have any now.

Hi, please, Please, PLEASE read this before you do anything. Do not put apple cider vinegar (ACV) anywhere on your genital area. It may work, but you are playing Russian Roulette. (I played and lost). I just got back from my doctor and I have chemical burns with permanent damage. My doctor said it was stupid and was like using a nuclear bomb to kill a mosquito. Please let your immune system fight it. Do everything you can to strengthen your immune system (reduce stress/overwhelm, get sleep, relax, take vitamins A,C,D,E, garlic pills, echinacea, lysine). Go see your doctor. If he wants to freeze it or burn it off, say no. We hate warts and we hate them down there and are eager to get rid of them ASAP. But don't be greedy, be patient. Or you will be very, very sorry, and will feel stupid for practicing medicine with stuff you read on the internet. ACV might be fine for warts on your hands, but please know that the only way to truly get rid of warts is to have your immune system fight them. Keeping them moist with oil or antibiotic ointment can increase circulation which helps your immune system fight them. Once your immune system wins, they will fall off. I tried to do it myself b/c I thought I would have a small scar if I went to the doctor and he froze/burned it off. Now I have an enormous scar for the rest of my life, and major sense of regret.

I Have Had warts for the past couple of years now, they began on my thumb, gradually becoming bigger, and then spread to other fingers, and my feet, i had been going to the dermatology department to get my warts froze for 6 months *which was EXTREMELY painfull* and it didnt seem to be making a difference. my friend who is only 7 had warts on her face, hands, nose, eyelids (practically everywhere) and she began a home remedy in which you would open up a runner bean, and rub the inside of the skin onto the warts twice a day. THIS RELLY WORKS! she cleared up within 3 weeks!! so i decided to try it, and it is working wonders. the wart begins to go black, and you must file it every day also with a pumice stone, or a normal file, to reduce the wart becoming bigger. after time, you will be able to pick it off as it will just look like hard skin! so then i just kept applying the runner beans to make sure it was completely gone and now I HAVE NO WARTS =] I would highly recommend this to anybody... GOOD LOOK !!

I swear that this works. When I as a small girl I had warts ALL OVER my hands. My mother had specialist perscribe me medicine and they never worked. Then one day a friend of hers told her to make me pick dandilions and rub the white stuff at the bottom of the broken stem on the warts. After about a week or two of doing this my warts began to fall off. I am happy to say I am now wart free. Hope that it works for you too.

To remove a wart within a couple of hours....find a friend that smokes :) or if you smoke yourself, light a cigarette and put the lite end on the wart (yes it is somewhat painful bc you are burning yourself; however...) within an hour the wart will turn white and bubble up. Pop the bubble and let drain, then take twizzers and rip it out! (that part not painful!) WARNING...it will likely bleed for a few hours so be prepared to change out your bandaids a few times...it will scab over within a couple of days and will heal leaving a small scar if any...good luck and be careful with the cigarette/burning part of this remedy :) Too bad this can't include pics because we took some during the whole process :) if you'd like to see that burning and after removed email me at atjt425@yahoo.com

Hello guys! thank God the internet exist... I had GW and had had treatment before with a dermatologist. Basically the doctor would freeze the warts, and then he prescribed me with Aldara, boy that cream was so expensive. After few months, they all came back. Then i found this site. So i was VERY skeptical at first about the ACV method decided to give it a try. I started the treatment on a sunday, just before going to bed. Soaked a cotton ball in the ACV, and taped it against the GW. It didn't burn at all, which i was so surprised. The next day, i woke up, the GW turned a greyish/whitish color. In the afternoon, it all turn black!! So i knew it was working. So i continued applaining acv on the warts after they turned black, and on the fifth morning, they started to peel off!!! they are all gone, and now i am just applying polyspirin on the skin to prevent scars. And i started to take vitamins as well. I wanted to take the time and wtite my story because truly it works!!

Apple Cider Vinegar!

This stuff really works! I've had a plantar wart on my foot for at least 16 years and I am SO pleased to say it's almost gone. It's taken up to two months but definitely worth the time spent dipping cotton in vinegar.

I would recommend that if it gets too painful, switch to duct tape during the day. I would resume the ACV during the evening and had very little pain. Over time the wart will dry up and fall off. I also found using the cotton from the head of a q-tip (just pull it off) seemed to work great. I was a little skeptical through the process as it didn't seem to be shrinking but it has almost completely dried up and I couldn't be more thrilled!

I know it has been mentioned before to have worked on a horses nose, but just to confirm it works on humans as well...

Castro oil applied on the wart in the morning and before bed will definitely get rid of them within a few weeks. Not well known but Castor oil is a healing oil of many purposes.

1 remedy. You get a almost roten potato or just a potato cut it in half rub it any where you have worts, and I do mean anywhere bury it in the yard or in the woods in 2 to 3 weeks all of your worts will be gone never to return for ever, and ever. It doesn't hurt to try it. What do you have to lose.

2nd Remedy. You steal a wash rag when no one is looking, and you rub the stolen rag any where you have worts I do mean any where. Bury it under a rock and in 3 weeks your worts will be gone for ever and ever.

For plantar warts take a clove of fresh garlic and slice a piece off to the size of the wart. At night cover wart with garlic and secure with bandaide or tape. Remove in the morning. Repeat for a week and you will see the wart begin to get little black specs. It is amazing how this works and has for many I've suggested it to

So about 2 months after moving into a new loft apartment with a stand up shower with a weird rough bottom that's hard to clean I noticed I had developed a Plantar's wart on my big toe. This freaked me out, having a little black living thing in my foot wasn't something I was going to be ok with. I have Multiple Chemical Intolerance, and can't use commercial chemical products, or even go to the doctors office due to the likely hood of exposures to air born chemicals. So my options are seriously limited for what I can do about a Plantars wart. I put a bandaid over it to at least stop it from spreading, the next day I looked at it and it had more than doubled in size. So I decided to intervene. I took a sewing needle and heated it until it was glowing and gently stuck it in the center of the wart. When I did the black root was ejected from my toe. I repeated it until I felt that it had been totally destroyed, pretty much cauterized, over all maybe 4 or 5 times. I then cleaned it with Sole, which is a 100% saturated water and Himalayan Crystal Salt mixture. I then heated a bees wax candle and using my finger tip applied hot wax over top of the wound in layers until the heat penetrated. I then waited a little while before removing the wax and when I did I believe the remaining root was captured in it. I then cleaned it again and put on a bandage, repeating the cleaning for another week until the scab came off and my healed toe was underneath. I now have another one on my other foot between the heal and the ball, in a much more sensitive area and have done the same thing. I now await the healing to see if it was fully successful the second time. After reading the stories on here of people having them for years and lots of them, wow I can't imagine what that would be like and don't want to. I'm so glad that first one was gone within a couple of week of showing up. And this one I hope is done and now my foot is just healing. But it will be a few more days before it's obvious.

p.s. We soaked her foot in hot water for 5 min and dried thoroughly before each application.

Next time you get a wart on your hands simply soak it in a little cup of water with sea salt for about 5-10 minutes (may need more than one soak) And within days it'll be gone. I accidentally discovered this remedy. Had warts on my fingers for the longest time. Tried all the OTC remedies and nothing worked. Then when I started swimming in a salt water pool almost every night, I noticed my warts flaking away till they were gone. Works great!!

Take a small branch of Black Willow at least twice as thich as wart. Cut out just big enough to rub on wart, this is best done in spring when the sap is moving. For those that do not have access to Willow take asprin disolve it into band ade and place over wart overnight. Do again next night again as the first night and place over wart. In a few days till a week wart will come off. The asperten of both Willow natural and asprin chemical will kill wart.I have taugh this to many Boy Scouts and it works, I use to do Wilderness First Aide

When i was younger i had a ton of warts. I had them frozen and they would come back. Getting them frozen hurts! Well, one day i was cleaning the kitchen floor with water and bleach. At that time I had a good dozen warts on my hands. Just days after that, they were shrinking and going away. I didnt understand it. But i thought it was the bleach so I told my little brother who had this HUGE one on his finger and we made a mixture of water and bleach in the sink and he had his hand in it for a few min. Well the same thing happened to him. So we told my mom (some on now we werent going to tell her BEFORE we did it :P), she also had a wart, although a little one :P, on her finger (I must of been passing around the disease lol), so she was skeptical but by that time I was even able to pull one off with out pain that was on my cuticle. So she did it and hers went away as well. I tell yea it worked for my family!

I bought the $25 over the counter 'freeze' product - it didn't work. I tried the duct tape method - it didn't work. I tried the nail polish method - it didn't work.

What DID work was simple apple cider vinegar. I put some on a Q-Tip and began swapping. Nothing magical happened and I figured it was just another quack remedy. But I pressed and kept it on the wart for a few minutes, softly rubbing occasionally. And then it happened -- a slight tingling. That night, I did it again. This time I felt a burning sensation but continued on, figuring the pain meant it was doing SOMETHING.

This ugly wart that had been on my face for years began to turn red and then it turned black and scabby looking. It looked gross and I tried to cover it w/makeup but makeup wouldn't really adhere to it and you could see right through the makeup. I figured what the heck, you've gone this far and had the wart this long, so what if people are staring at this black thing on your face. And then suddenly, the black scabby thing came off and there was nothing but a small divot in my cheek, no worse a 'hole' than someone who had a bad acne scar. Ugly, but still 100% better than the wart! I immediately began putting aloe on it to help heal the skin and eventually it became less noticeable and maybe even started to fill itself back in a bit.

Okay people, stop talking about other remedies for HPV it is settled no need for experimenting or listening to anyone. The cure as I said again is Interferon injections with Aloe Vera propolis and B-complex. There is no need for nothing else. This is 100%. These results are actually published and confirmed. For women put the insert the aloe vera vaginally and take the B-complex while taking interferon injections and also take the aloe vera propolis orally as well. Ask your doctor to send you to a specialist and tell him specifically that you want interferon prescription and prescription strength B-complex and possibly a prescription for pyridoxine.
You don't need to try this and hope. This will work guaranteed this discussion should be over this is the CURE in capital letters.

The apple cider vinegar works perfectly.the small ones can come off within a day after applying it but the bigger ones takes some time before falling off. I was able to remove some around my genitals but I have realize some has appeared on my feet and the back of mine hands.but they are very small so I just took a sterile niddle to end all the small ones up and after I coated it with a nail polish. It kind of hurt when you are doing it but know pain no gain. I have ended all up except a big one under my scrotum and am gradually using the cider vinegar for that. Besides I have plan eating healthy to boost my immune system so that the body can fight against it self.so I have started with chewing garlic and also going for green tea. Sometimes u just have to endure pain to succeed.

Garlic, my friend. I have had warts for a very long time. When I was younger I was getting warts frozen every 2 weeks for a year with no luck. After some crazy treatment they finally disappeared.

Recently I got another wart and someone told me to put a piece of garlic on it. Every morning put a fresh slice of garlic on it, but be careful not to cover the good skin with it. Really works!!

Smells bad, but works great. Less obtrusive on your feet.

If you have a wart, I'd 100% definitely tell you to go to a dermatologist to get it frozen off. It burns a little while they are freezing it, but the burning goes away almost instantly! It is definitely worth it to have it frozen and spend a small amount of money to have it gone! All the home remedies and over the counter medication that I tried just lead to scarring and tenderness around the wart

I had a wart on my finger for YEARS.
Any time I tried the liquid-burn method, it would just grow bigger.
It didn’t help that I was picking at it periodically.

Anyway, my friend had a little Buddha statue,
And, told me that your supposed to rub his belly and make a wish.

When his mom called him for dinner,
I stayed in his room and rubbed my wart on the belly.

IN TWO WEEKS, THE WART WAS COMPLETELY GONE!

I had 'plain warts' on my hand which the doctor wouldn't treat because they were flat and too near to the skin. In the space of 2 years I got about 80 tiny ones (on the back of 1 hand) and then they started to spread and grow so that after another 2 years I had about 30 or 40 slightly larger ones. Most of the time they didn't bother me too much. Some times they itched a bit but mostly they looked unsightly. I searched a few web sites after I remembered using a tea-tree oil based cream for verucas as a child and I found the following suggestion. Pour a few drops of tea-tree oil onto a dressing. cover the affected area with the dressing and wrap completely with a bandage over night. I did this for 2 nights running. The smell was overpowering but WELL WORTH IT. the secong morning my hand was COMPLETELY clear except for 1 wart that was on my finger and was not covered by the bandage. After 1 1/2 years the warts have not come back. I also have a few on my eye lid but I don't know how to treat those because tea-tree stings the eye and I doubt it is safe near the eye. Any ideas?

On the subject of tea-tree oil, the only lice repellent and lotion I have found to be effective are the ones made from tea-tree by De Valle. www.blushingbuyer.com stock them.

Get garlic pills! (Odorless) :)You can get them at walmart/walgreens/cvs/pharmacy's.
Take one a day for about 2-3 weeks.
You will notice the wart flaking off in about 1 week, or 7 days! Garlic is known to kill viruses. It gets into the blood stream and kills it from underneath first.

Clorox Bleach works really well too!
I opened up my wart after soaking it in warm water with epson salt and took a q-tip with bleach and dabbed it, covered it with a band-aid. After 1-2 weeks it was gone. :)

I suggest taking the pills though. Its inexpensive, easy and fast. Not to mention healthy! :P

Good luck!

i have had 2 series of warts, but about 15 or more both times. i tried many thigns i got of friends and other remidies, and i mized them together, and found some good working stuff.

1)) get a dandelion(the weeds that you blow with those little bits that fly itnot he air) and make sure you get the stem. open the stem(by like slicing it or soemthign) and it should be a kinda wet sorta inside. Rub the inside over ur feet for about a week, and about twice a day. i tired this for the warts on mi toe, they have gone!

2) dont let the air get to it. the only time air should get to the wart is in the baht/ shower. you shpuld have a dialy shower, and when doign so, wash the wart throughorly. i tried this on the warts on the sole of mi foot, it wokred, along with toehr emeidies. put a bandaid or making tape ove rthe wart, make sure it is reguarly checked and helped so the wart cant brreather.

3) a lil spices never hurt. Garlic, onions and patatoes can help., if you eat alot of garlic and onion, then it helps prevent breakouts liek warts. if you rub a misture of grounded onion and salt or a dsliced a patao or a slced garlic or sliced onion over the wart reguarly, it shoudl help.

4)dont pick at it or anything, let it heel in time. a lil' trick my friend taught me is nail polish-preferibly cear unless u want colored feet. apply this, then cover wiht tape. if you cover it, but not to storngly, it will hopfully clear up.

5) a few more remidies are liquids. if ya make some herbal or any time ot tea like berry or soemhting herbal, and rubb the tea-bag around the wart for about 5 mins a day, and then drink the tea-it hlps!

for any more remidies u wann know, email me at punky_squirrel@hotmail.com !!!

Removing a stubborn wart: this works over a one or two-week period. Wet a generous amount of epsom salts; put over the wart to form a mound; cover with gauze and wrap with a bandage. Be sure the salt is over the wart at all times. Moisten occasionally with water. Once the mound of salt has been applied you will not be able to walk comfortably if the wart is underneath your foot. Leave on overnight, or all day, if you are at home. Apply a fresh mound of dampened epsom each day. The wart will appear to swell and may appear white as the skin around it swells and softens with the application of the damp epsom. You must be diligent for this to work. The wart should fall off in a week or two. I discovered this by experimenting with a plantars wart that was very painful and just would not fall off. I also had a wart on my index finger but I saw a doctor about it and he prescribed what he called liquid nitrogen. I used it for a few days only and the stubborn, itchy wart fell off. If you've tried other remedies for a stubborn wart and the remedies have not worked, please give the epsom a try. Remember, you must be diligent. Every day for a week or two. Wart and surrounding skin will appear bigger and swollen before it falls off, so do not despair.
