Apple & Ginger Slushie

Mix about a 1/2 or 1/4 tsp of powdered ginger in a 1 cup apple juice, and 1/4 cup water. Put in blender until ginger is dissoloved add enough ice to make it slushie. Or freeze in icecube trays with sticks for popcicles...really good for sick littlt ones!

For vomiting, boil a cup of water and mix a tsp of cinnamon or one cinnamon stick. Add 1 tbs of honey for sweeting.

The vomiting will stop within 5 minutes.

Mint helps with nausea & vomiting. You can use mint tea or in a pinch melt a pepermint hard candy in hot water. For long term use be sure to add a little milk as it kills the tannins which can cause cancers.

Fresh ginger also helps quite a bit. You can actually keep ginger root in the fridge for quite some time.

What always works for me is to take a very hot bath. Sometimes I spend two hours in there. Just relax, you don't even have to wash up. After you get out, don't get dehydrated, but don't chug liquid. My mom always has me either suck on an ice cube or sip CLEAR liquids through a straw. Much on some saltine or oyster crackers if you get hungry, but don't overdo it!
