Hey my name is Rachel. I'm 22 yrs old and i have stretch marks for the past two yrs due to my pregnancy. They were all over my stomache and ugly. Throughout the yrs they would get lighter but still looked ugly. I have alot. Anyway...i was in Walgreens about 4 nights ago and i seen the stick of cocoa butter 100% it's better than using the lotion (the lotion did no justice)I've been using this 100% cocoa butter stick for the past four days...and it works wonders....My stretch marks are so much lighter and alot of them have become barely noticeable. I love this stick. It only costs $1.00. There's not a specific way or time to put it on but i over due it i think, lol. I put it on when i wake up (i sleep with it under my pillow) i put it on after every shower, i put it on before i go to bed. I put it on about 3 to 4 times a day. I love it. Also, i put alot. It's kind of dry at first but the more you rub it on your stomache, the oiler it gets, so i like to put alot. That's just how i do it, you can do it your own way. It really works though, i would have never thought. I was reading in the stretch mark comments that someone else had posted on here and she said that in six months hers were all gone using the cocoa butter stick...so you should try it and be patient. Hopefully you'll see results as i did. Good Luck.

I am about to embark on the journey to banish stretch marks - the home made remedy way. For those who will be doing the same this is what you need -
Body scrub (mix with a little olive oil)*, cod liver oil, vitamin E oil/cream and aloe vera gel. Obviously we exfoliate first but the trick is how to do it, always make sure that you are scrubbing towards the heart - this stimulates more blood flow and is great for getting rid of cellulite. I just had my second baby and got stretch marks (none on the first) They are unsightly. I will take photos before and after to prove how this works and I will gladly offer the technique to anyone who is interested - FREE of course, we are all in the same boat.. so please do not pay $15 for the home remedy offered on another website. Email me fionadoolan@msn.com , please put STRETCH in the subject box so I wont delete your email.... Good luck!

Most of us know that stretch marks are scars in your skin from you skin tearing due to pregnancy, weight fluctuations etc. Yes the best thing to do is to prevent them and blah, blah, blah. Okay let's say we didn't and now we have all the super FUGLY stretch marks where ever on our bodies. I have one son and one on the way and I was so freakin' small that my skin was like 'OMG I am dying' and needless to say I have ugly stretch marks. I tried all the dern cocoa butter in the friggin' world and I still got the BUT there were super light. I didnt rub it on my thighs and booty like a dummy and got really bad ones there. So...after I had him I looked for creams and started to use BARMON and that worked wonders on them and they faded dramatically. BUT it was $24.95 a bottle! I dont think that I can buy that every month! LOL! I heard that you need to heal the scars and moisturize your skin. Then I heard that if you remove old skin cells that you can help your skin rejuvenate even faster because it will be more willing to 'drink' your remedy. Here is the remedy!

*Get some exfoliating cream...you know that stuff with the little beads in it. Take that cream and rub in circular motions toward your heart all over or just on the spots with stretch marks. Rinse it off and follow with this rememdy. (Exfoliating cream does not have to be from SAKS just get a drugstore kind.)

*Mix these together:
- 1/2 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 Cup Aloe Vera Gel
- 10 Vitamin E Capsules, Drained
- 5 Vitamin A Capsules, Drained
Place in fridgerator and use twice or more a day. Rub into skin untill fully absorbed.

This works wonders on your skin. Make sure that all the ingredients are 100% natural.

Hope that this works for you but remember that everyone's skin is different! Good Luck.

During my teenage years I had gotten stretch marks on my breast and on the sides of my buttocks and I figured that I would defenetly get stretch marks on my stomach when I became pregnant. My aunt suggested for me to apply vitamin E oil/cream and cocoa butter everyday on my belly. If I felt a slight itch I will rub my stomach with the vitamin E. I have 3 children now and no stretch marks on my stomach! Be aware that the combination of the too can slightly stain your clothes yellow.

Using vitamin e oil or cream, olive oil and cocoa butter (100% cocoa butter) has been said to work to reduce stretchmarks or prevent them as it nourishes your skin and increases its elasticity, also creams enriched with collagen may help.

I got this home remedy that was basically passed down through family generations. It works really good. I recently found it something very similar to it was being sold on the internet. I was mad at first then realized... if it helps people... fine. well you need a facial scrub, my family uses st.ives because their products work better than any other products, vitamin e, pure cocoa butter, we used natural but my granny was a herbalist so anything else should work as long as it,s pure, and aloe Vera, find the most natural as possible. mix them together um... about...5 tbsp of scrub, 1 tsp aloe Vera,1/2 tsp vitamin e, 1 tsp coco butter. massage it over your stretch marks for a few minutes. do it after you showered and before you go to sleep. blot the areas your going to massage to maintain moisture. massage not putting allot of pressure but focusing only on the skin. massage for about 3 minutes on each spot. then use a bath sponge or loofa or towel to massage it for about 3 minutes then rinse. i did it when i first noticed i was getting stretch marks when i was preg., grandma recommended it, and they went away that week. i guess it works different on old stretch marks. put a moisturizer thats made for stretch marks when your done. well i recently gave an e book permission to use this. I know it works. just want to help!

I've had horrible stretchmarks for over 20 years and have tried every treatment under the sun and nothing worked until now...for the last 4 months I've been using Trilastin SR every day - sometimes twice a day and I did notice a slight improvement with the marks, but they were still obvious. So I thought I would improve the odds, and purchased a Dermaroller for $50 and some Retin A cream. Now I've been rolling my skin first, and immediately applying the Trilastin and Retin A cream combined...and in the last 3 weeks, my marks have almost completely disappeared!! I keep checking myself in amazement! This combination treatment is honestly the miracle I've prayed for! For those of you who are having the same frustrating struggle in trying the 100's of useless hyped treatments...please, please try this one!! It seriously works!!

I got tired of using stretch mark creams and decided to come up with my own home remedy. For the last 3 days i have been using my at home MicroDermabrasion System (Neutrogena, bought in stores) on my stretch marks. I use the dermabrasion kit at night, about 2 mins on each mark in small upward circles. Then I rinse the area with warm water and pat dry. After that I apply Vitamin E oil all over the area, then go to bed. I hear it is best to do this at night because thats when your body is at its best to heal. I can't say that this is going to be a miracle, but it seems to be working better than any cream I have used in just 2 sessions. I have notice that when I run my had ove my stretch marks I can barely feel them. NOTE: I have had strtch marks for about a year and have been proative in their healing process since day 1 with creams and vitamins.

There is a cure. You can break up the tissue and signal your body to produce more collagen, therefore, filling in the the stretch mark. You do this with a skin roller. You can purchase them on ebay for a couple hundred dollars

Here is some more info on this:

subcision(needling) often helps on depressed and pitted scars

The needles injure the upper 1-2 mm of the dermis. This injury, minute as it might seem, does cause localized damage and bleeding. This will promote the normal post-traumatic infiltration of fibroblasts and the release of growth factors.
Ultimately, collagen is laid down in the papillary and upper reticular dermis.
This results in confluent collagen production stimulation and deposition, and as a result, may mimic the results obtained with laser, dermabrasion or deep chemical peels, but without destroying the epidermis.
Skin Needling also perforates and softens fibrous scar tissue, enabling the deposition of new collagen
The new collagen fills depressed scars from the bottom up, lifting the scars so that they are level with the surrounding skin. In some cases it is possible to repigment hypo-pigmented scars.

Subcision is a process created for atrophic scars, using fat and other substances to fill up the depression under the scar so that it becomes level. Subcision can also involve the separation of skin tissue from the scar tissue to allow blood to pool, eventually forming connective tissue and raising the scar up. Both these processes are always done by licensed professionals, and the patient may be under either local or general anesthesia, on an outpatient basis.

Subcision
Subcision is a common procedure to treat fibrotic scars. The base of the fibrotic scar (at the dermal layer) is normally anchored by fibrous bands. Subcision releases this fibrous band and reduces the depth of the fibrotic scar.

Effects of surgical scar revision include swelling and bruising, and patients may take up to a week or two to recover, depending on the procedure, size and depth of treatment, and on the patient themselves

Subcision: a surgical technique in which the fibrous band under the scar is divided, allowing the skin to return to its normal position
releases subcutaneous fibrotic strands that tether the overlying tissue
Medical needling is a physician-performed medical procedure that has created great interest in the cosmetic community because of its efficacy, minimal downtime, ease of use, costs and patient satisfaction. It has been used successfully to treat fine lines wrinkles, lax and photo-damaged skin; to reduce the appearance of stretch marks; and to improve acne, post burn and ice pick scars. It has also been used after liposuction to tighten skin.

VITAMIN C SUPPLEMENT (1000 mg Daily internally) :

Increases collagen but not other necessary skin proteins
A good anti-oxidant, natural skin component

EXFOLIATING 2 Weeks After Needling Session:

Helps removes older skin and allow new skin to rise to surface

The medical needling instrument, a sterile roller with needles all around, is rolled across the skin, which causes thousands of micro wounds. These minute injuries to the dermis result in the start of the wound-healing cascade. The punctures begin the wound-healing cascade, which causes the body to produce its own collagen

It is the body’s own collagen production that results in tightened skins less fine lines and wrinkles and a softening and reduction in scarring.
five days alter the injury to the dermis, a fibronectin matrix is laid down along with collagen. This collagen is deposited in the upper dermis just below the epidermis’ basal layer.

WHAT COPPER PEPTIDES DO IN COMBINATION WITH NEEDLING:

Helps synthesis of new collagen, elastin, and water holding proteins
Rebuilds microcirculation
Antiinflammatory - Blocks Interleukin-1 and TGF-beta-1 and detoxifies free radicals

HOPE ALL THIS HELPS :) Worked for me. STRETCH MARK FREE.

I have found an absolute strech mark eraser. It can be purchased from Walgreens online, its no longer sold in stores. It is called 'E ointment' and the best part is that it's only $4.99. I know that everyones skin is different, so results may vary, but at that price it's well worth a try. My marks are 10 yrs old and they are literally diminishing more and more everyday. This stuff is great on scars, wrinkles, cracked heels, eczema, and discolorations as well other things I would think. I have tried many expensive creams, but nothing has work like this stuff. Now come on girls, let get rid of that old zebra lookin ass...Good luck to you all!! Much Love!!

I know a lot of you are using exfoliation as part of your treatments, but there are these things we call Japanese washcloths. They last FOREVER and are really cheap. I don't quite know the website but their called 'Salux Wash Cloths' and cost about 3.50 or so. I'm going to try using this wash cloth with some of your remedies, it proably a lot cheaper than buying an exfoliation every 4 weeks.

I have found a product for a natural remedy to prevent the onset of stretch marks and scarring of any kind if used as directed (regularly and prior to problem happening). It's called ElastiSkin Oil. It gives your skin the elasticity needed for your skin to expand during pregnancy and during fluctuating weight gain/loss. I have used it for decades and not one mark. My husband used to be a body builder and also used it during traing sessions on a regualr basis and not one mark has set into his skin. good for teens and growing toddlers too, because they experience rapid weight gain and growth. This product is all natural and I have used it on my children with no negative side effects. They have beautiful soft skin, too! try it! i found this product long before they had a website for it, but now I'm glad they have one because it makes it easier to order. It's elastiskin.com you won't regret it.

Hi, my name's josie and I have been trying to remove my stretch marks forawhile now. In the last year, I tried a new remedy:
Exfoliate with a body scrub in the shower then put on a mixture of olive oil, aloe vera gel, vitamin A oil and vitamin E oil.
I did this for almost a year, and though my stretch marks didn't disappear they did fade and shrink quite a bit.
I use the mixture at night after a shower and in the morning I use a regular moisterizer.

I know that everyone is tired of going to the shower every day, and seeing those ugly stretch marks, some are light and some are dark but at the same time they are all still ugly. Now I am 22yrs old and no i dont have any children, yet i still have had stretch marks. I am going to tell you the remedy that i used to get rid of my stretch marks. It is very simple, what i do is,either i take a nice for shower or bath using a discoloration bar and a pure cocoa butter bar twice a day for about two weeks. I use the bars over my intire body so that everything would be even. Now you have to use the bars in circular motions so that it would lather nicely, you have to do this faithfully every time you get into the bath or shower. Once you get out the shower, slightly towel blot to get some of the water off but still remain a little damp. Then you get some cocoa butter lotion (perferrably palmers cocoa butter lotion)use over entire body focusing on the stretch marks and any other marks that you want to get rid of. Apply the lotion in circular motion, make sure that all the lotion is rubbed in very good before you put on any clothes. FYI= When you sweat, you will feel the lotion starting to drip depending on how much you use,so be careful.

I feel that the best thing to do is after you have a child and you get the okay to start working out then do so! I am 21 and had a child 17 months ago and I have started working out and of course applying moisturizing lotion. Also, I use a one of those hard scrubbers...that you find at walmart. I believe that it's in section with foot scrubs, face masks, etc. I use that in the shower in place of a regular wash cloth and they only cost 3 or 4 dollars...Depending on what style or how rough you want it....Honestly, I have been through at LEAST 20 different lotions and no matter how big the word 'FIRMING' is ....it never works! To make a long story short. Firming loss and tore skin is a time consuming process that will take time and definiely WON'T happen over night. It took most of us 9 months to get the way we are and will probably take us 5 times longer to for us to achieve our physical (and emotional!) goal. Please believe that I am on your side and wish everyone a fast and glamorous look, but I just don't believe stretch marks just disappear...I wish everyone that reads this the best of luck and remember...we are still beautiful...

There is no way to completely get rid of stretch marks..if there was we would all know about it. There is defenetly a way to dramatically improve them..Microdermabrasion cloths work!!!! you're pretty much buffing the strech marks away. You can get a microderm abrasion cloth over the internet i.e. ebay. Buff the stratch marks as you would buff a shoe untill slightly pink and the surface of the skin is unbeleivably soft, then wait a week and do it again..unitl you achieve your results...Im sure if you apply aloe vera or cod liver or any of those magic creams people claim to work ...it could only help so what do you have to loose. microderm obrasion cloths are also good for your whole body...the little shave bumbs on the back of your thighs...white heads black heads..minor acne...or just to improve the look and feel of the skin..

the Vit E and wow!!! noticed results after one night. Anyways am 22 and start taking the pill recently and as some of you may or may not know the hormones in the pill sometimes make your boobs bigger. Which happend to me. I am really skinny and never had much of a bust so initially I was delighted but then I noticed I was getting whit stretch marks that started offoff unnoticeabale but atrt looking worse on my chest. Anyway I got really self concious about them and stopped wearing low cut tops as you could see them. Anyways was reading this site last night and saw about the Vit E and remembered I had some Vit E capsules so I exfoliated the area really well (just with an exfoliater I had already...basically any of them body scrubs with the grains threw them should do)....the capsules were basically the plastic ones you take as tablets but they were clear and had oil in the inside so I just pierced them with a needle and got the Vit E oil out and massaged it into the stretch marks....checked this morning and they have nearly vanished! I was so happy!!!....I am going to go buy some proper Vit E cream today other than having to keep breaking the capsules.....but I highly recommend all of you try this. I was genuinely shocked at how well and quickly! it worked. Hope you all have as good results as I did :)

hi. sorry i don't have a remedy, but i would like to offer some hope. i am 17 y/o, never been pregnant, but i've had weight issues that have given me stretch marks. i heard that you can't get rid of them so i never did anything about them, because what was the point? after a few months of doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING they started to fade on their own. so i started massaging them with just WATER and they are almost gone after a few weeks. i think i will try some of these remedies and perhaps they will help. anyway i just wanted to say that just because some people can't get rid of them it doesn't mean that nobody can... we are all different. good luck to everyone!!

I applied this daily to the area and after a few months, I noticed the stretch marks were completely gone! I am so happy I used that product! I have recommended it to several friends. Good luck!!

Coffee grinds! Just take the morning grinds from your machine and buff onto your skin in the shower. I do this every morning and rinse after about 5 minutes of exfoliating with the grinds (thighs, stomach, whatever). After the shower, MASSAGE on a cocoa butter+ vitamin E + collagen lotion or oil (Palmers). Whether it's the caffeine and the oil, or just the act of exfoliation and massage, it makes my skin soft and firmer and reduces the pinkness of the stretch marks.

Well am 19 turning 20, and I got pregnant at 17 and had my son at 18. I got really bad stretch marks and I've been really conscious of my body because my stomach was one of my best features, lately I've been trying a new way to get rid of the stretch marks by using a loofah spongy thingy to scrub my stomach to get rid of the dead skin and smooth out my stomach during a warm hot shower, then after drying myself I right away put on a lotion that contain vitamin E and cocoa butter and so far this remedy has been working The marks look less visible and the depth has shrunk I think do to the loofah scrub.

I learned that stretch marks have more to do with genetics. Some doctors say look at your mother--if she has stretch marks, you probably will too. The genetics come into play when it comes to the elasticity and thinness or thickness of your skin. Another factor, even if you have good elasticity and thick skin, is how quickly you gain or lose weight, especially when pregnant. My mother has great elasticity and thick skin. She is 71 and barely has any wrinkle. Her stomach, however, is another story. She has terrible stretch marks because she gained a lot of weight in her pregnancies (much more than she should have) and she gained it very rapidly. My two sisters and I thought we were going to have the same problem. I exercised (pregnancy-approved exercises) all the way through both of my pregnancies and gained weight very slowly. I also carried toward the back, so I didn't have a very big stomach. As a result, I didn't get any stretch marks. My oldest sister also gained weight slowly and carried toward the back, and she didn't get any stretch marks. my middle sister had 3 kids and although she gained more weight than she should have, she gained it slowly. As a result, she ended up with one tiny stretch mark that you can barely see. So I don't have any special home remedies for you, but I do recommend you stay active during your pregnancy (if possible) and try to gain weight slowly, especially if your skin is not as thick and stretchy. You have to give your skin a chance to stretch itself to the point it can maintain its natural elasticity. Thicker, firmer skin is usually more oily, so look to your complexion if you are trying to determine what your skin is like. Also, skin with more melanin (pigment) tends to be thicker and oilier, but provides more protection from the sun and thus, from wrinkles.

100% cocoa butter everynight on marks, exfoliate, and no more weight gain. If you're pregnant, make sure you keep body moist at all times whether its cocoa butter or vaseline it does not matter. I'm 27 with two kids and have no noticeable stretch marks, I had some on my inner thighs after rapid weight gain and some on my upper arms. They faded away over about 6 months of doing this.

My name is amanda and I have had these ugly marks for 10 years. I want to share what worked for me so maybe it will help others. I use the 100 percent cocoa butter stick but I use palmers stick. I get mine at walmart. Then I go get jergens skin firming bronzing lotion. This combo is awesome. I use the stick like 3 times a day and the lotion everyother day after a shower. The lotion makes all the marks blend in with your skin tone and firms your skin while the stick firms and shrinks the marks and takes all red out. Trust me. People notice the difference. Not just me seeing changes. Sometimes also using caffeine will make the skin shrink like using coffee grounds once or twice a week in the shower. Sounds crazy I know but it works. Once you get in the routine, its a sintch. So remember, jergens skin firming bronzer, and 100 percent cocoa bitter stick. Nothing else or your gonna freak your skin out. Good luck. Let me know how it goes!!

Hi, all!

I started developing stretch marks when I had a growth spurt during puberty. It left me with stretch marks on my butt, the backs of my upper thighs and my calves. When I became pregnant and gained weight, I developed more stretch marks behind my legs, on my butt and this time on my breasts and stomach as well. So, I'm basically completely covered in stretch marks. After using all sorts of creams (Revitol being the biggest rip off) I found TriLastin SR and I used it for about four months (twice a day) and I saw pretty good results. Unfortunately, I don't have the money at the moment to buy any TriLastin but when I get the chance, I'll but a couple of tubes along with a derma-roller. I really believe that applying the TriLastin after having used the derma-roller (using the derma-roller five days a week) will rid me of my stretch marks. I'll be sure to come back and let you know how that works.

Use Vick's Vapor rub 3 times a day and after showers. Massage it in for 10 minutes using a neutragena electric deep clean pore cleaner, and wrap yourself in a garbage bag over night, and saran wrap under your clothes during the day. I swear I don't know how it works technically but it got rid of them. Just keep doing it till they are gone. Make sure your skin is clean. I had 2 kids and tons of stretch marks and i cant see them anymore(that doesn't mean they're not there, I just cant see them.)
