Hi, my name's josie and I have been trying to remove my stretch marks forawhile now. In the last year, I tried a new remedy:
Exfoliate with a body scrub in the shower then put on a mixture of olive oil, aloe vera gel, vitamin A oil and vitamin E oil.
I did this for almost a year, and though my stretch marks didn't disappear they did fade and shrink quite a bit.
I use the mixture at night after a shower and in the morning I use a regular moisterizer.

Hey my name is Rachel. I'm 22 yrs old and i have stretch marks for the past two yrs due to my pregnancy. They were all over my stomache and ugly. Throughout the yrs they would get lighter but still looked ugly. I have alot. Anyway...i was in Walgreens about 4 nights ago and i seen the stick of cocoa butter 100% it's better than using the lotion (the lotion did no justice)I've been using this 100% cocoa butter stick for the past four days...and it works wonders....My stretch marks are so much lighter and alot of them have become barely noticeable. I love this stick. It only costs $1.00. There's not a specific way or time to put it on but i over due it i think, lol. I put it on when i wake up (i sleep with it under my pillow) i put it on after every shower, i put it on before i go to bed. I put it on about 3 to 4 times a day. I love it. Also, i put alot. It's kind of dry at first but the more you rub it on your stomache, the oiler it gets, so i like to put alot. That's just how i do it, you can do it your own way. It really works though, i would have never thought. I was reading in the stretch mark comments that someone else had posted on here and she said that in six months hers were all gone using the cocoa butter stick...so you should try it and be patient. Hopefully you'll see results as i did. Good Luck.

I am about to embark on the journey to banish stretch marks - the home made remedy way. For those who will be doing the same this is what you need -
Body scrub (mix with a little olive oil)*, cod liver oil, vitamin E oil/cream and aloe vera gel. Obviously we exfoliate first but the trick is how to do it, always make sure that you are scrubbing towards the heart - this stimulates more blood flow and is great for getting rid of cellulite. I just had my second baby and got stretch marks (none on the first) They are unsightly. I will take photos before and after to prove how this works and I will gladly offer the technique to anyone who is interested - FREE of course, we are all in the same boat.. so please do not pay $15 for the home remedy offered on another website. Email me fionadoolan@msn.com , please put STRETCH in the subject box so I wont delete your email.... Good luck!

Using vitamin e oil or cream, olive oil and cocoa butter (100% cocoa butter) has been said to work to reduce stretchmarks or prevent them as it nourishes your skin and increases its elasticity, also creams enriched with collagen may help.

During my teenage years I had gotten stretch marks on my breast and on the sides of my buttocks and I figured that I would defenetly get stretch marks on my stomach when I became pregnant. My aunt suggested for me to apply vitamin E oil/cream and cocoa butter everyday on my belly. If I felt a slight itch I will rub my stomach with the vitamin E. I have 3 children now and no stretch marks on my stomach! Be aware that the combination of the too can slightly stain your clothes yellow.

Shea and cocoa butter has work the best for me. I am 14 and have had twins. After the pregnancy the stretch marks got worse. I had searched for many remedies to help the problem. I used Equate Cocoa Butter and Palmers Shea Butter for Stretch Marks. In the morning, use the Shea butter when you wake up, and at night after a shower and your ready for bed use the Cocoa butter. I did this for about a week and noticed the results. Even after the stretch marks seem 'gone' don't quit this cycle. It keeps your skin healthy and those stretch marks gone.

I'm 15 years old, a UK size 6, and I have DD breasts. Because of this -and they are still growing- I have deep purple stretch marks on my breasts. I also have severe stretch marks all over my thighs, butt and hips, a few of which are visible in shorts. I have a typical Irish skintone so they're very obvious and make me feel very uncomfortable. I took a fistful of Kenco instant coffee beans, put them in a bowl and crushed them with the end of a glass. I then mixed the powder with E45 moisturiser -I think any moisturiser will do- and applied the cream to my stretch marks. I waited for it to dry and went to bed. When I woke up next morning, I washed off the dried cream and it was as though I'd washed the marks off with it! They were not completely gone, but were noticeably shorter, shallower, lighter in colour. After about two weeks of doing this every night, my skin was not only completely clear but smooth and tighter.

Most of us know that stretch marks are scars in your skin from you skin tearing due to pregnancy, weight fluctuations etc. Yes the best thing to do is to prevent them and blah, blah, blah. Okay let's say we didn't and now we have all the super FUGLY stretch marks where ever on our bodies. I have one son and one on the way and I was so freakin' small that my skin was like 'OMG I am dying' and needless to say I have ugly stretch marks. I tried all the dern cocoa butter in the friggin' world and I still got the BUT there were super light. I didnt rub it on my thighs and booty like a dummy and got really bad ones there. So...after I had him I looked for creams and started to use BARMON and that worked wonders on them and they faded dramatically. BUT it was $24.95 a bottle! I dont think that I can buy that every month! LOL! I heard that you need to heal the scars and moisturize your skin. Then I heard that if you remove old skin cells that you can help your skin rejuvenate even faster because it will be more willing to 'drink' your remedy. Here is the remedy!

*Get some exfoliating cream...you know that stuff with the little beads in it. Take that cream and rub in circular motions toward your heart all over or just on the spots with stretch marks. Rinse it off and follow with this rememdy. (Exfoliating cream does not have to be from SAKS just get a drugstore kind.)

*Mix these together:
- 1/2 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 Cup Aloe Vera Gel
- 10 Vitamin E Capsules, Drained
- 5 Vitamin A Capsules, Drained
Place in fridgerator and use twice or more a day. Rub into skin untill fully absorbed.

This works wonders on your skin. Make sure that all the ingredients are 100% natural.

Hope that this works for you but remember that everyone's skin is different! Good Luck.

I've had horrible stretchmarks for over 20 years and have tried every treatment under the sun and nothing worked until now...for the last 4 months I've been using Trilastin SR every day - sometimes twice a day and I did notice a slight improvement with the marks, but they were still obvious. So I thought I would improve the odds, and purchased a Dermaroller for $50 and some Retin A cream. Now I've been rolling my skin first, and immediately applying the Trilastin and Retin A cream combined...and in the last 3 weeks, my marks have almost completely disappeared!! I keep checking myself in amazement! This combination treatment is honestly the miracle I've prayed for! For those of you who are having the same frustrating struggle in trying the 100's of useless hyped treatments...please, please try this one!! It seriously works!!

Hey guys I am also 14 and I have had stretch marks since 14, after I quit swimming. I realized that after I quit I started to gain a ton of wait, around like 10 pounds, and after awhile I started to get stretch marks, at first they were just on my right leg a bit, but have spread to my left leg, butt, hips and even my chest :O. When I was doing some research one day, I found an amazing home remedy, but you have to stay committed to it!! Even though it takes awhile, when I first started it, I was doing it probably every two days, and I saw improvement, but after awhile I was just doing it when I felt like it, and then they started getting worse again. But here is what I tried, it works amazing if you commit to it, try and do it everyday, but if you cant try it as much as possible.
FIRST STEP (Very important) EXFOLIATE!
Exfoliate around the area/s in cirles and after 10mins or so, start exfoliating the area in the direction towards the heart. (e.g. From your stomach you stroke the exfoliating brush upwards. From the Arms, across ways.)

STEP TWO
Okay this may sound funny but the Vicks Vaporub REALLY WORKS! Ok, now don’t leave just yet. I think I know why this may be. It has something to do with the ingredients, Eucylyptus and the menthol. And I think there may also be a small amount of Emu oil in there also.

I know a constant strong smell of the stuff isn’t pleasant but grab a dollup of the stuff and rub it in circles but mostly in the opposite direction the stretch marks are. (On my stomach, they’re vertical so I rub it horizontally). You don’t need to go fast or hard but go firmly making sure you concentrate on one spot! Do this for 15-30 min. Does seem long but you won’t notice if you do this while watching something, and resting your arms during commercial breaks. Lol.

STEP THREE
Here comes the Olive Oil. I measure about the size of the lid and rub it on all my stretch mark areas And yes, on top of the Vicks Vaporub. Rub it in till the skin loses the oil shine. That’s how you know it’s being absorbed. Don’t go overboard on this part, cos you will be repeating this step.

STEP FOUR
The Gooey Part. Lol. Crack an egg. Throw the yolk and keep the white. Apply on the area you’ve just treated. No need to massage in really, but apply with circular movement. Wait for the yolk to dry. Sit on a towel perhaps if you’re worried about the runnyness. But really, it’s not that bad if you’ve applied it in the circular motions like I said. May take another 5 min to dry depending on the area size.

STEP FIVE
COLD SHOWER! AHHHH! Yes ladies, a cold shower. This is where you wash off all the Vicks, Oil and the Goo! Lol. Use a strong, almost rough loofah (A coarse, fibrous cylindrical object used like a bath sponge for washing.) on the spots. It’s like another mild exfoliation. But also to make sure you’ve gotten rid of the gooyness ;). After that you can put the water on a bit warmer and use your bodywash and whatever you usually do.

STEP SIX
Mosturise. With a stronger moisturiser. Something that will keep your skin very hydrated. The natural and very GREAT product to use is… YOU GUESSED IT! OLIVE OIL! But also if you do not want to use that again, you can use any type of moisturizing cream, try and stay more natural, the stuff I like to use is Vaseline intensive rescue extra strength, unfragranced .

And don’t forget to drink you eight glasses of water a day or as much as you can. This will help keep skin hydrated and in the long run, will prevent wrinkles setting on faster.

Give it a try guys. Does take time but is worth it. Well, I have tried this routine and I have seen great results!!! No joke! I can feel that the skin has smoothed out much more than the left. Still a bit bumpy but I’m sure in time will smooth out for good! With all the exfoliation!
If I had pictures I would prove it!
I am positive it will work if you do practise this every night and make it a ritual. It worked for me! Give it a go and tell me how you’ve gone. What’s your story. =)
@alyxstariha@shaw.ca
and if you want to use a product, even though this is a natural site, try TriLASTIN-SR Intensive Stretch Mark Complex, it was on the tyra show, I have not tried it yet but people who have; have had 100% results. Hope this will help and sorry about the super long comment. LOL! I posted this twice, once on someone elses comment and once on here haha ;)

Hello everyone. I'm going to tell you my story. (I'll keep it short, I promise.) Well, my friend asked me to come to the beach, and without thinking I said yes. Now, I have stretch marks on my inner thighs and hips, so I usually wear those shorts/bikini bottoms. But this year I have a new set little set of marks. They're on my sides. There aren't that many but they were a very dark pink. So me in despration look online for some remedies all of which required me to leave my house and buy something. Being only 14 I couldn't just leave at 11:00 at night so I went looking around my kitchen. I ended up mixing Aloe Vera gel, Lotion w/ Shea Butter, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and lemon juice. After that I rubbed it on the most obvious places for about 3 minutes each. Now, here I am, 30 minutes later, happy as a clam, because my marks INSTANTLY lightened. No joke! So that's what I'd suggest. Hope it works for you too.

hi there, im 20yrs and am feed up with paying losts of money for products that just DONT work for stretchmarks. I have made my own very effective recipe to reduce apperence of stretchmarks to vitually invisiable and even skin tone so no more ugly ridges in your skin. Now you may think my recipe has to many ingreidants and is way to costly how ever i have got most of my PURE ingrediants off ebay for far less than those expensive use-less so called miricle creams. It is a MUST to buy 100% PURE products from my ingrediants list as they do not contain harmful chemicals that harm your skin and make matters worse.
Ingrediant list: Sugar, Coffee grins, Bi card soda, fresh Aloe vera plant, Argan oil, Vitamin E oil, Emu oil, Vitamin C powder and Cocoa butter. Please buy Pure Oils and cocoa butter as well as high quality Vitamin C, if you cheap out the products you buy are not as effective and may make marks worse.
STEP ONE: Mix together coffee, sugar, bi-carb, aloe vera and enough water to make a paste. Only enough to cover the areas you want to treat! Massage onto areas and leave for 10-15 mins. Wash off in shower.
STEP TWO: Mix SMALL amounts( as a little goes along way!) of Argan oil, Vitamin E oil, Emu oil, Cocoa butter and Vitamin C powder into a consistant liquid then use as a mosturiser.
Do both steps daily for two weeks and love your skin again.

There is a cure. You can break up the tissue and signal your body to produce more collagen, therefore, filling in the the stretch mark. You do this with a skin roller. You can purchase them on ebay for a couple hundred dollars

Here is some more info on this:

subcision(needling) often helps on depressed and pitted scars

The needles injure the upper 1-2 mm of the dermis. This injury, minute as it might seem, does cause localized damage and bleeding. This will promote the normal post-traumatic infiltration of fibroblasts and the release of growth factors.
Ultimately, collagen is laid down in the papillary and upper reticular dermis.
This results in confluent collagen production stimulation and deposition, and as a result, may mimic the results obtained with laser, dermabrasion or deep chemical peels, but without destroying the epidermis.
Skin Needling also perforates and softens fibrous scar tissue, enabling the deposition of new collagen
The new collagen fills depressed scars from the bottom up, lifting the scars so that they are level with the surrounding skin. In some cases it is possible to repigment hypo-pigmented scars.

Subcision is a process created for atrophic scars, using fat and other substances to fill up the depression under the scar so that it becomes level. Subcision can also involve the separation of skin tissue from the scar tissue to allow blood to pool, eventually forming connective tissue and raising the scar up. Both these processes are always done by licensed professionals, and the patient may be under either local or general anesthesia, on an outpatient basis.

Subcision
Subcision is a common procedure to treat fibrotic scars. The base of the fibrotic scar (at the dermal layer) is normally anchored by fibrous bands. Subcision releases this fibrous band and reduces the depth of the fibrotic scar.

Effects of surgical scar revision include swelling and bruising, and patients may take up to a week or two to recover, depending on the procedure, size and depth of treatment, and on the patient themselves

Subcision: a surgical technique in which the fibrous band under the scar is divided, allowing the skin to return to its normal position
releases subcutaneous fibrotic strands that tether the overlying tissue
Medical needling is a physician-performed medical procedure that has created great interest in the cosmetic community because of its efficacy, minimal downtime, ease of use, costs and patient satisfaction. It has been used successfully to treat fine lines wrinkles, lax and photo-damaged skin; to reduce the appearance of stretch marks; and to improve acne, post burn and ice pick scars. It has also been used after liposuction to tighten skin.

VITAMIN C SUPPLEMENT (1000 mg Daily internally) :

Increases collagen but not other necessary skin proteins
A good anti-oxidant, natural skin component

EXFOLIATING 2 Weeks After Needling Session:

Helps removes older skin and allow new skin to rise to surface

The medical needling instrument, a sterile roller with needles all around, is rolled across the skin, which causes thousands of micro wounds. These minute injuries to the dermis result in the start of the wound-healing cascade. The punctures begin the wound-healing cascade, which causes the body to produce its own collagen

It is the body’s own collagen production that results in tightened skins less fine lines and wrinkles and a softening and reduction in scarring.
five days alter the injury to the dermis, a fibronectin matrix is laid down along with collagen. This collagen is deposited in the upper dermis just below the epidermis’ basal layer.

WHAT COPPER PEPTIDES DO IN COMBINATION WITH NEEDLING:

Helps synthesis of new collagen, elastin, and water holding proteins
Rebuilds microcirculation
Antiinflammatory - Blocks Interleukin-1 and TGF-beta-1 and detoxifies free radicals

HOPE ALL THIS HELPS :) Worked for me. STRETCH MARK FREE.

I was looking on this site and I have to say some of these remidies seem a little extreme. Putting some of these things onto your skin is toxic. Especially if you are like me and are still breastfeeding. Just be careful ladies. Anyway, I am 20 years old and have an eleven month old. I have tried just about a million things too. Vitamin E really helps!!! Changing your diet also helps. Egg whites are pretty much a natural perfect protein that's why they work so well. Eating foods high in Biotin, vitamin e and some c, along with protein is really benificial. I rub a product called Bio Oil on my skin and I recommend it to everyone!!! I have had stretch marks for years and it helps with the old and the new ones. I hope it helps you too.

Shea Butter works wonders. I bought Dove Cream Butter, Shea Butter (for extra dry skin) at CVS yesterday and applied it to my stretch marks both last night, and this morning. When I woke up, I saw immediate changes in my silvery (old) stretch marks. They look so much less noticeable its amazing!! The purply stretch marks are a tiny bit less noticeable, but not as much as the older ones, which is weird because I thought that the older ones took longer to heal but thats not the case with me! I'm so happy to see improvements after just one day, it's incredible. I hope the purply ones will fade down to almost nothing too, but it will just take some time. I'll re-post again soon to tell you guys if my stretch marks are even more faded by then or not.
I saw other posts saying creams that contained shea butter as their main ingredient, so thats why i bought it at the store. i guess you don't even need to make some complicated cream with a million ingredients or spend a fortune on fancy brands. Shea butter will really do the trick! I never believed in miracle creams or fast acting anything but this is truly incredible!!! you can probably get any kind of shea butter brand but Dove works amazingly!!!

I got this home remedy that was basically passed down through family generations. It works really good. I recently found it something very similar to it was being sold on the internet. I was mad at first then realized... if it helps people... fine. well you need a facial scrub, my family uses st.ives because their products work better than any other products, vitamin e, pure cocoa butter, we used natural but my granny was a herbalist so anything else should work as long as it,s pure, and aloe Vera, find the most natural as possible. mix them together um... about...5 tbsp of scrub, 1 tsp aloe Vera,1/2 tsp vitamin e, 1 tsp coco butter. massage it over your stretch marks for a few minutes. do it after you showered and before you go to sleep. blot the areas your going to massage to maintain moisture. massage not putting allot of pressure but focusing only on the skin. massage for about 3 minutes on each spot. then use a bath sponge or loofa or towel to massage it for about 3 minutes then rinse. i did it when i first noticed i was getting stretch marks when i was preg., grandma recommended it, and they went away that week. i guess it works different on old stretch marks. put a moisturizer thats made for stretch marks when your done. well i recently gave an e book permission to use this. I know it works. just want to help!

I had issues with stretch marks all over my stomach and thighs, so I know how it feels to be extremely weary to expose your body. However, I once tried putting lemon juice onto the said marks and then wrapping at least 4 layers of saran wrap around the marks and letting it sit for about 5 hours (for me, overnight, you can try even longer). After just one night these stretch marks were dramatically reduced. Repeat this process overnight until you are happy with the results, I promise you it works(: And, it's great because you don't have to go to the store to get any products over $5, (and most people I've found have these at their homes). Enjoy, and tell me if it helped you.

Hello, I'm 21 and I have had stretch marks that are lighter than my body since I was 15. I had my first baby last year so I got a few on my belly as well. I found a remedy that actually works for me and hopefully it will help someone else! You can do this how often you like, but I have a full-time job so I only have time to do it before I go to bed. First, I take a couple of cotton balls, soak them with 100% lemon juice, and cover my stretch marks with them. I flipped out the first time I did it because it looked like my stretch marks got lighter, but in reality, you can't change the color of your stretch marks(that's why tanning and covering them with makeup don't work). The lemon juice lightens the skin around the marks to give you more of an even skin tone. Once the juice dries, I cover them with aloe vera gel(I use a generic brand called 'great value' cuz I'm cheap like that, and it works just fine). When the gel dries, I put on my jammies and go to bed. In the morning I wash it off, and then I repeat the next night. After a week, mine are almost invisible...and I've had these babies for years. So hopefully this will help someone into a bikini this summer ;) Let me know if it works!

Never had stretch marks until I had my son then my body exploded with them. I never tried to do anything about them because I always herd there was no way to remove them. After taking a skin care coarse in college i made a daily routine that has worked for me... I exfoliate using white sugar I just take a cup into the shower with me and message it on the spots that need it for 5 mins. After the shower I took vitamin c tablet and crushed them up into powder ( you can get at any drug store) and I mixed it in with my aveeno non scented lotion and rubbed it completely in the areas then took a teaspoon or two of olive oil and rubbed it in also. The exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells which speeds upthe production of new cells, the vitamin c helps aid the elasticity of your skin same with the lotion and lastly the oil is great for keeping the hydration in your skin. Repeat the process everyday or as much as needed. I am pleased with the results and I hope it can help someone else!

I got tired of using stretch mark creams and decided to come up with my own home remedy. For the last 3 days i have been using my at home MicroDermabrasion System (Neutrogena, bought in stores) on my stretch marks. I use the dermabrasion kit at night, about 2 mins on each mark in small upward circles. Then I rinse the area with warm water and pat dry. After that I apply Vitamin E oil all over the area, then go to bed. I hear it is best to do this at night because thats when your body is at its best to heal. I can't say that this is going to be a miracle, but it seems to be working better than any cream I have used in just 2 sessions. I have notice that when I run my had ove my stretch marks I can barely feel them. NOTE: I have had strtch marks for about a year and have been proative in their healing process since day 1 with creams and vitamins.

Use Vick's Vapor rub 3 times a day and after showers. Massage it in for 10 minutes using a neutragena electric deep clean pore cleaner, and wrap yourself in a garbage bag over night, and saran wrap under your clothes during the day. I swear I don't know how it works technically but it got rid of them. Just keep doing it till they are gone. Make sure your skin is clean. I had 2 kids and tons of stretch marks and i cant see them anymore(that doesn't mean they're not there, I just cant see them.)

My name is amanda and I have had these ugly marks for 10 years. I want to share what worked for me so maybe it will help others. I use the 100 percent cocoa butter stick but I use palmers stick. I get mine at walmart. Then I go get jergens skin firming bronzing lotion. This combo is awesome. I use the stick like 3 times a day and the lotion everyother day after a shower. The lotion makes all the marks blend in with your skin tone and firms your skin while the stick firms and shrinks the marks and takes all red out. Trust me. People notice the difference. Not just me seeing changes. Sometimes also using caffeine will make the skin shrink like using coffee grounds once or twice a week in the shower. Sounds crazy I know but it works. Once you get in the routine, its a sintch. So remember, jergens skin firming bronzer, and 100 percent cocoa bitter stick. Nothing else or your gonna freak your skin out. Good luck. Let me know how it goes!!

I gained 10 lbs after going away to college, and one day I noticed stretch marks on my hips. I found a vitamin E oil, made by Sally Hanson at CVS Pharmacy. I believe it was labeled for use on scars. I applied this daily to the area and after a few months, I noticed the stretch marks were completely gone! I am so happy I used that product! I have recommended it to several friends. Good luck!!

I have found an absolute strech mark eraser. It can be purchased from Walgreens online, its no longer sold in stores. It is called 'E ointment' and the best part is that it's only $4.99. I know that everyones skin is different, so results may vary, but at that price it's well worth a try. My marks are 10 yrs old and they are literally diminishing more and more everyday. This stuff is great on scars, wrinkles, cracked heels, eczema, and discolorations as well other things I would think. I have tried many expensive creams, but nothing has work like this stuff. Now come on girls, let get rid of that old zebra lookin ass...Good luck to you all!! Much Love!!

I'm 17 and have had them since about 12. I was reading through these and decided to try my own. First i mixed about a 1/4 cup of extra light olive oil, added a dash of lemon juice, then i added some Avon moisturizer. mix that up then add sugar until it all blends well. (it should be the consistency of syrup) then put it in the freezer for about 20 minutes or until it's like ketchup's consistency. use your hands to massage it into your skin (it will be cold and sticky, but fun!). let it soak for at least 10 minutes then rinse it off with hot water. Not only do my stretch marks look closer to my skin tone (i'm kinda tan) but my legs are amazingly soft and velvety smooth, like i just shaved. =)

1 cup baking soda
1/4 cup water
Clean and clear body wash
Pour one cup backing soda in bowl mix in water till a wet sand consistency.then add body wash just a lil eyeball it. It will be watery. Before you go to sleep put a thin layer on (make sure it doesn't run off) and put the rest in a holding mechanism or in fridge. I did this for a month and mine are gone.

Okay stretch marks can make a person feel so bad about themselves. So I basically want to share my success story with everyone in hopes that it will also help you. I had my first child when I was just barely 19 years old. By the end of my pregnancy I had horrible stretch marks on my stomach, hips, thighs, butt and behind my legs! I was completely devastated. I have been wearing jeans for 9 years and avoiding swimming at all costs. It makes me feel so sad and bad about myself inside. I have tried everything under the sun and I have finally found something that works. Buy a dermaroller off ebay (much cheaper) I got a 1.5 for $17.99 and free shipping. Buy emu oil also off ebay $6.99 free shipping as well and trilastin SR $79 yes it's pricey but it works! Take a hot shower dry off and use your dermaroller. It pokes a little but nothing too bad. After that rub the trilastin SR into the stretch marks in a circular motion then rub some emu oil over that. This seriously works even on my old stretch marks! It will take a month or 2 for them to be pretty much invisible to the eye. Also my stomach had some loose skin which tightened up nicely. I truly hope that this works for anyone that tries it. Even if yours don't completely go away they will be sooo much lighter and smoother =)

I'm 20 and had horrible stretch marks, it even led me to never wearing shorts or a bathing suit. Luckily I found a solution that has worked for me. Vaseline makes an oil and lotion, both are not more than $10 each. First I take a shower, than towel off. I put Vaseline 'Cocoa Butter Vitalizing Gel Body Oil' (about $7 for a bottle) on my stretch marks, than I rub on Vaseline 'Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning body lotion' (about $10 for a bottle). It is very sticky but works wonders. I than sleep in cotton pants. It has been 2 months of doing this and my stretch marks are almost GONE! You can barely even seen them.

Hey everyone! I'm 13 and have horrible strath marks on my lower stomach and hips. I just started using Vix Vapor Rub on my strath marks and it works great! I'm already seeing improvement!

So just take a rag and put it in hot water. (or warm if u really can't handle the heat!) Then ring the water out but make sure there is still some water in the rag. Lastly, dip the rag in the Vix Vapor Rub and roughly rub it into the stretch marks! Now when I say roughly I mean with a decent amount of pressure so don't be too light but don't be too rough. Anyway hope it works well for you too! :)

I no how it can take ur confidence away and make u feel like th ugliest thing on earth. i have bought so many different creams and oils from all over the world and nothing works. A week ago i made up a little mixture of my own which i can honestly say is working very well from the first use. I can go swimming and feel more confident and it has even my skin tone. The good thing is i haven't used it everyday just 4 times and i am so happy. The ingrediants i used was lemon juice, hair gel, hair hold spray, TCP, codliver oil capsuals, boots scar serum, garnia facial toner, sodercrem, nivea sun screen (medium 30 )and vaseline cream (yellow vit E bottle. I mixed this all together and i have also been exfoliating my skin and changing my diet. Eating yogurt, milk, fish and drink loads of water to keep the skin hydrated.

I hope this helps anyone.

I've had stretch marks for three years now, and have tried many products. I recently decided to give Bio Oil a try, and after four weeks of using it twice daily I noticed they have gotten lighter. It says to use it for three months, so I'm hoping they will become even less visible. You can buy it at any store with a pharamacy like Walgreens or Jewel. Its fairly cheap, one bottle is 11 dollars but it lasts the whole month. Hope this helps!

There is no way to completely get rid of stretch marks..if there was we would all know about it. There is defenetly a way to dramatically improve them..Microdermabrasion cloths work!!!! you're pretty much buffing the strech marks away. You can get a microderm abrasion cloth over the internet i.e. ebay. Buff the stratch marks as you would buff a shoe untill slightly pink and the surface of the skin is unbeleivably soft, then wait a week and do it again..unitl you achieve your results...Im sure if you apply aloe vera or cod liver or any of those magic creams people claim to work ...it could only help so what do you have to loose. microderm obrasion cloths are also good for your whole body...the little shave bumbs on the back of your thighs...white heads black heads..minor acne...or just to improve the look and feel of the skin..

I'm currently 14, & I've had stretch marks since I was 13.
I loved going to parties, staying the night with friends & going to the beach. now, I stay at home, all day, everyday. I've pitched fits, cried, & dissed my friends (lost some too).
The stretch marks I have are all over my bottom, my thighs & going down my legs.
When I first started to get them, they were squiggly lines on my butt-cheeks.
I thought it was a temporary thing.
Until it turned into deep, purple stretch marks.
I know people say you shouldn't care what people think.
But, it's so embarrassing! D:
I'm always the odd-ball wearing jeans or knee-knockers when it's 100 degrees.
And I get made fun of for it.
I've tried Cocoa Butter, & Bi-Oil. They've lightened up some.
But, I've been using it for months..
I don't see a big difference.
And I'm only 14, I can't keep asking my parents to buy me creams & stuff for it..
What is some home remedy's I can use to help it? QUICKLY. Because, I start school in 3 weeks. /: & In gym we wear short shorts, (have to) & I don't want to get made fun of /: I'm going to be new at the school....

I know that everyone is tired of going to the shower every day, and seeing those ugly stretch marks, some are light and some are dark but at the same time they are all still ugly. Now I am 22yrs old and no i dont have any children, yet i still have had stretch marks. I am going to tell you the remedy that i used to get rid of my stretch marks. It is very simple, what i do is,either i take a nice for shower or bath using a discoloration bar and a pure cocoa butter bar twice a day for about two weeks. I use the bars over my intire body so that everything would be even. Now you have to use the bars in circular motions so that it would lather nicely, you have to do this faithfully every time you get into the bath or shower. Once you get out the shower, slightly towel blot to get some of the water off but still remain a little damp. Then you get some cocoa butter lotion (perferrably palmers cocoa butter lotion)use over entire body focusing on the stretch marks and any other marks that you want to get rid of. Apply the lotion in circular motion, make sure that all the lotion is rubbed in very good before you put on any clothes. FYI= When you sweat, you will feel the lotion starting to drip depending on how much you use,so be careful.

So i used dove body wash and my strech marks just started disappearing. I then bought mederma and I saw instant results! I would also rub pineapple onto the affected area and that plumped up the skin and made the marks less noticeable

I had stretch marks all over my body and no cream ever helped so, I researched how do we get stretch marks and found out that they are basically scars from stretching that healed and now all those dead skin cells that connect the tissue are stuck on the top layer and that's why we look like zebras.
Only way to loose them is to shed those old dead skin cells which you can do at the spa and will cost you $200 per treatment or you can do it at home cheaply but you need to be disciplined. Creams that come with those abrading crystals that shed dead cells can be very expensive and you don't get enough product to treat stretch marks. After much looking I found this site that sells pure crystals(google medicalcrystals) that you mix with your own cream. I was surprised by low price because instead of 1oz cream I could get 1lb of crystals and prepare 2lbs of crystal cream and that's more then enough for the whole body.
I received instructions to mix 1 spoon of crystals with 2 spoons of cream or oil (vitamin E, shea butter) and massage this paste in circular motions for couple of minutes. I did this before every other shower for a month and all stretch marks are gone that I had on my boobs, those on my hips and belly faded significantly but will have to continue with treatments for a month or so. Now I can't wait to go to the beach and not be embarrassed by my body. I love to tell people about this treatment because it really works. Just go to their web site www dot medicalcrystals dot com and look at the photos. www*medicalcrystals*com
P.S. Customer service is super nice to explain and suggests what's good for your skin type.

READ IF YOU WANT TO LOSE STRETCH MARKS!Well I'm 13 years old, and I've had stretch marks for 2-ish years. I HATED it! I mean, I couldn't wear any bikini's, or shorts, because they were mostly on my legs. Mine weren't deep, but there were ZILLIONS of thin stretchmarks on my legs.
I never really noticed them til I was in the summer I was about to enter fifth grade.
I tryed EVERYTHING! I haven't used lemon juice YET.
anyways my mom bought me bio oil, and I needed them to disappear in a MONTH and the package on the bio oil says to use for a minimum of 3 months. I didn't have that type of time! I was trying out for volleyball for middle school, and they dont let you in unless you have a white shirt and black booty shorts(really short shorts) and I'd be TO embarresed. So I went to my AWESOME cousin carly who knows EVERYTHING, and she said that I should use body washes, lotions, and shampoo's with aloe vergin, jojoba, and vitamins, so that gave me a crazy idea!
Carly's friends, who had stretch marks decided to go on a trial with me.
We used this body wash which we got at walmart w/ aloe vergin, shea butter, and jojoba, and we mixed bio oil, jojobs, olive oil, vit e capsouls, and uh...oh yeah, a BIT of lemon juice, and palmers cocoa butter lotion for stretch marks, and we applyed that EVERYDAY, for a month.

So heres how it worked, there was 10 of us including me, and after a month we got together. We had before and after pics, which our parents except 2 wont let us post on internet(sorry) and we talked about the progression!
and we all had all or almost all of our stretch marks gone!
I also wanted to say that we all had sensitive, hard, and medium sking(Im a medium) and I'm NOT trying to be racist, but people say it varies from diff. races so we had 2 whites, 2 african americans, 3 mexican, 1 italian, and 2 indian americans.....I think?
Anyways, we also had a healthy diet.
HOPE THIS HELPS!

Hi ladies. I'm 17 years old and 38 weeks pregnant. I started getting stretch marks @ about week 30 and I got them on my lower half of my stomach, love handles & boobies! I was thinking noooo anywhere but the boobies lol. I started doing some research and found tanyatko . I'm white and mexican, so my skin is very light. The stretch marks are pink & purply. I ordered african shea butter off amazon for like 10$ I then mixed it in a bottle w/ olive oil. (The bottle must have a spout) I also added joba joba oil, coconut oil, vitamen E capsules(I broke them open & put them in) and argan oil. I shook it and I had my lotion. But I've been using it for a week & iswear by it. My boobs the stretch marks have completly vanished and stopped growing. The ones on my belly are deep so it might take some time, but they have definantly gotten lighter! I wish icould post b4 and after pics. I'm having a c section so hopefully after I'm healed I can use this on my scar.

Coffee grinds! Just take the morning grinds from your machine and buff onto your skin in the shower. I do this every morning and rinse after about 5 minutes of exfoliating with the grinds (thighs, stomach, whatever). After the shower, MASSAGE on a cocoa butter+ vitamin E + collagen lotion or oil (Palmers). Whether it's the caffeine and the oil, or just the act of exfoliation and massage, it makes my skin soft and firmer and reduces the pinkness of the stretch marks.

I have found a product for a natural remedy to prevent the onset of stretch marks and scarring of any kind if used as directed (regularly and prior to problem happening). It's called ElastiSkin Oil. It gives your skin the elasticity needed for your skin to expand during pregnancy and during fluctuating weight gain/loss. I have used it for decades and not one mark. My husband used to be a body builder and also used it during traing sessions on a regualr basis and not one mark has set into his skin. good for teens and growing toddlers too, because they experience rapid weight gain and growth. This product is all natural and I have used it on my children with no negative side effects. They have beautiful soft skin, too! try it! i found this product long before they had a website for it, but now I'm glad they have one because it makes it easier to order. It's elastiskin.com you won't regret it.

hi. sorry i don't have a remedy, but i would like to offer some hope. i am 17 y/o, never been pregnant, but i've had weight issues that have given me stretch marks. i heard that you can't get rid of them so i never did anything about them, because what was the point? after a few months of doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING they started to fade on their own. so i started massaging them with just WATER and they are almost gone after a few weeks. i think i will try some of these remedies and perhaps they will help. anyway i just wanted to say that just because some people can't get rid of them it doesn't mean that nobody can... we are all different. good luck to everyone!!

I know a lot of you are using exfoliation as part of your treatments, but there are these things we call Japanese washcloths. They last FOREVER and are really cheap. I don't quite know the website but their called 'Salux Wash Cloths' and cost about 3.50 or so. I'm going to try using this wash cloth with some of your remedies, it proably a lot cheaper than buying an exfoliation every 4 weeks.

I learned that stretch marks have more to do with genetics. Some doctors say look at your mother--if she has stretch marks, you probably will too. The genetics come into play when it comes to the elasticity and thinness or thickness of your skin. Another factor, even if you have good elasticity and thick skin, is how quickly you gain or lose weight, especially when pregnant. My mother has great elasticity and thick skin. She is 71 and barely has any wrinkle. Her stomach, however, is another story. She has terrible stretch marks because she gained a lot of weight in her pregnancies (much more than she should have) and she gained it very rapidly. My two sisters and I thought we were going to have the same problem. I exercised (pregnancy-approved exercises) all the way through both of my pregnancies and gained weight very slowly. I also carried toward the back, so I didn't have a very big stomach. As a result, I didn't get any stretch marks. My oldest sister also gained weight slowly and carried toward the back, and she didn't get any stretch marks. my middle sister had 3 kids and although she gained more weight than she should have, she gained it slowly. As a result, she ended up with one tiny stretch mark that you can barely see. So I don't have any special home remedies for you, but I do recommend you stay active during your pregnancy (if possible) and try to gain weight slowly, especially if your skin is not as thick and stretchy. You have to give your skin a chance to stretch itself to the point it can maintain its natural elasticity. Thicker, firmer skin is usually more oily, so look to your complexion if you are trying to determine what your skin is like. Also, skin with more melanin (pigment) tends to be thicker and oilier, but provides more protection from the sun and thus, from wrinkles.

Well am 19 turning 20, and I got pregnant at 17 and had my son at 18. I got really bad stretch marks and I've been really conscious of my body because my stomach was one of my best features, lately I've been trying a new way to get rid of the stretch marks by using a loofah spongy thingy to scrub my stomach to get rid of the dead skin and smooth out my stomach during a warm hot shower, then after drying myself I right away put on a lotion that contain vitamin E and cocoa butter and so far this remedy has been working The marks look less visible and the depth has shrunk I think do to the loofah scrub.

guys!!!!!!ok everyone knows that stretch marks are in the dermis etc,,,and that you cant get rid of them,,,watever,,,ok,,,you can definetly make them disappear,,all you need to do is find a product that will work for you.ok well i am a 15 year old girl and have stretch marks that arent bad,,not that noticeable, they are oh my arms, breasts, sides and front of my stomach, behind my knees,in my inner legs at the top,,,,ok well they are all barely noticeable,,and the ones that bother me the most are the ones on my stomach and arms,,well like most people i wanted to get rid of them,,so a while back i got my mother to buy me 3 bottles of trilastin off the internet,,i didnt finish off the supply,,i used around 2 bottles on my stomach and arms and they did improve.everyone knows that stretch marks are embarrassing and i didnt want to have to ask my mother for more stuff of the internet and considering that the trilastin wasnt that great,,,after a while on the internet one night i came up with an idea.i thought of all the things that people are always telling you to put on the stretch marks,,and i made a mixture of it.in a bottle i put in some shea butter,,extra virgin olive oil,bio-oil,vit e oil, palmers stretch mark lotion and some trilastin only because i had some left over....i mixed it up really well and that is the mixture.i only started this on the 25-5-09,,,so im only on my second day.also i have a shower every night and in there i exfoliate my skin before i apply the mix,,only in the night,i apply the mix morning and night.i will be back on to post a comment about if im seeingany results in 1/2 weeks,,for stretch marks go it takes around 6 months.ok well that is it,i just wanted to share it with you because i know how self concious and sad they can make you,,,please no negative comments as i said i was only trying to help,if you are going to try it tell me i would love to hear if it works for someone, love xxxxxxxxxxxxxx :D

I feel that the best thing to do is after you have a child and you get the okay to start working out then do so! I am 21 and had a child 17 months ago and I have started working out and of course applying moisturizing lotion. Also, I use a one of those hard scrubbers...that you find at walmart. I believe that it's in section with foot scrubs, face masks, etc. I use that in the shower in place of a regular wash cloth and they only cost 3 or 4 dollars...Depending on what style or how rough you want it....Honestly, I have been through at LEAST 20 different lotions and no matter how big the word 'FIRMING' is ....it never works! To make a long story short. Firming loss and tore skin is a time consuming process that will take time and definiely WON'T happen over night. It took most of us 9 months to get the way we are and will probably take us 5 times longer to for us to achieve our physical (and emotional!) goal. Please believe that I am on your side and wish everyone a fast and glamorous look, but I just don't believe stretch marks just disappear...I wish everyone that reads this the best of luck and remember...we are still beautiful...

Apply the gel of a fresh aloe vera plant. Let it dry overnight. Rinse off any residue in the morning. It helps with the elasticity of your skin so that as your skin stretches during the pregnancy you won't get any stretch marks.

I have been reading a lot on how to get rid of stretch marks, and i don't want to order a product. I made my own! I looked online on what helps get rid of stretch marks. Here is my little body wash recipe I made with the things i saw that helped the most. Here are the things you are going to need: a bowl, a spoon, coffee grounds, 1 lipton tea bag, aloe vera gel, warm water, an empty bottle, coconut body butter softsoap scrub or regular soap (depends on how coarse you want it), and baby powder (optional).
Add the aloe vera FIRST, then the coffee grounds, tea bag, and the warm water in that order. The baby powder comes next to make it thicker and not so watery. I put a lot of baby powder, just sayin. Last but not least, the coconut body butter scrub. I liked it to be coarse and not runny. Mix it with the spoon. Get your empty bottle and put the mixture in. Shake it for a while and you are ready to use! I saw an improvement in just 1 application! Make sure you leave it on until it dries and then wash off. Caution: May stain your skin just a little. HOPE THIS HELPS!

I have stretch marks on my boobs, sides, and all over my legs. Its summer now and I fell uncomfortable wearing shorts, but its so hot! I mixed together some aloe vera gel, extra virgin olive oil, lots of lotions with shea butter, body butter, anti-age cream and serum, KY gel, and vitamin E. I got the vitamin E from cutting up tablets. I mixed up all these things in a bowl. Not 30 minutes after applying to all the obvious areas, my stretch marks had faded and changed from a dark pinkish purple to a soft skin tone. You can still kind of see them, but not unless you are looking for them. I bet they will be completely gone pretty soon.

Hey hey hey. I'm 13, and believe it or not i have about zillions of stretchmarks. Theyre thin and go down my legs. Anyway i got sick of them. I cryed. I kicked and punched things. I have felt every emotion. The dermatologist, but they refused cuz they say theres nuthing you can do about em.

So lets get to the good part. I decided to whip up a 'potion' of my own. It consisted of jojoba oil, vitamin e, olive oil, bio oil(i barley had any left. Unfortunetly it didnt work for me) cocoa butter palmers lotion for stretchmarkz ,palmers skin tone evener, lemon juice(a lil bit). Mixed it up used it twice daily for a week, and heres the moral:
If i were like, middle aged, and i got to choose to either do my potion or lazer surgery, Youd be dead ca ra ze if u thout id do lazer surgery.
Seriously try this.
If ur not satisfyed then....heck who am i kidding ur gonna b satisfyed!!!!!;D

100% cocoa butter everynight on marks, exfoliate, and no more weight gain. If you're pregnant, make sure you keep body moist at all times whether its cocoa butter or vaseline it does not matter. I'm 27 with two kids and have no noticeable stretch marks, I had some on my inner thighs after rapid weight gain and some on my upper arms. They faded away over about 6 months of doing this.

I asked my mom if she could get me bio-oil at the store. But she refused and said to look for a bottle in the medicine cabinet that says J/A/S/O/N on it. Its made with vitamin E and Aloe Vera. I felt sticky afterwards but i started to see a major difference.

the Vit E and wow!!! noticed results after one night. Anyways am 22 and start taking the pill recently and as some of you may or may not know the hormones in the pill sometimes make your boobs bigger. Which happend to me. I am really skinny and never had much of a bust so initially I was delighted but then I noticed I was getting whit stretch marks that started offoff unnoticeabale but atrt looking worse on my chest. Anyway I got really self concious about them and stopped wearing low cut tops as you could see them. Anyways was reading this site last night and saw about the Vit E and remembered I had some Vit E capsules so I exfoliated the area really well (just with an exfoliater I had already...basically any of them body scrubs with the grains threw them should do)....the capsules were basically the plastic ones you take as tablets but they were clear and had oil in the inside so I just pierced them with a needle and got the Vit E oil out and massaged it into the stretch marks....checked this morning and they have nearly vanished! I was so happy!!!....I am going to go buy some proper Vit E cream today other than having to keep breaking the capsules.....but I highly recommend all of you try this. I was genuinely shocked at how well and quickly! it worked. Hope you all have as good results as I did :)

I use vitamin e softgels you buy in the vitamin isle. It works great!! U jus poke the pill, get the gel inside and rub it on ur stretchmarks and keep it on for a while. It stinks and starts to itch but itching means it works. Its very sticky so after half hour to an hour I shower it off. It definately is very sticky but after the first time, u see a big difference! Just use it once a day you will be happy

Hi, all!

I started developing stretch marks when I had a growth spurt during puberty. It left me with stretch marks on my butt, the backs of my upper thighs and my calves. When I became pregnant and gained weight, I developed more stretch marks behind my legs, on my butt and this time on my breasts and stomach as well. So, I'm basically completely covered in stretch marks. After using all sorts of creams (Revitol being the biggest rip off) I found TriLastin SR and I used it for about four months (twice a day) and I saw pretty good results. Unfortunately, I don't have the money at the moment to buy any TriLastin but when I get the chance, I'll but a couple of tubes along with a derma-roller. I really believe that applying the TriLastin after having used the derma-roller (using the derma-roller five days a week) will rid me of my stretch marks. I'll be sure to come back and let you know how that works.

Whether or not they're permanent, my best remedy would be to prevent stretch marks before they're a problem. I suggest using a lotion high in vitamin E. I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant, and don't have one single stretch mark.
