This cure is cheap, easy, & according to my 3 young girls, they are affective! They love these! You can call them booboo buddies, ache begone, tummy friend, or something else silly,(kids get a laugh out of a silly name) Find an old sock, make sure it doesn't have any holes in it.(My girls decorated theirs w/markers b4 putting in the rice) Fill it 3/4 full w/white rice. Tie the top in a knot. Place in the microwave till it becomes very warm to the touch.(We use 1 minute)Place it on the stomach. After about 10 mins the ache should have disappeared or at least made it feel much better. THIS IS ALSO GREAT FOR CRAMPS!!! You may even add a small amount of your fav potpouri, cinnamon, lavendar, etc to the sock, for a beautiful smell to help relax you! Some people put them in the freezer, & when they need a cold pack for a bruise or sprain, they use these.
Good Luck!

Boil some water till it's steamy. Pour 2 tbls. of honey and the juice of 1 lemon wedge into a mug. Add the hot water and stir. Drink this to help with a stomach ache. It helps, I've tried it. You can also try this trick with mint tea if you'd like some more flavor to it.

Here I am again, 3 am and another stomach ache. I kept a log. Here is what works. Try an apple, cut up and remove core. Leave the skin on(this is really important), sprinkle with a little sugar and ginger. Heat in the microwave to about 45 sec. Eat when warm. The slight cooking releases the pectin. Also, try a warm heating pad, it helps relax the stomach muscles. If this is a constant daily problem, see your doctor.

Drink regular tea with freshly squeezed lemon or honey. This will definately help in the relaxation of the stomach. Do not put sugar in the tea if you are drinking it with lemon or honey. This will make the tea useless.

My grandmother did this for all six of her kids, my mom is the sixth and does this for my brother and me. You can either make it a sandwhich or an open-faced sandwhich, and can even toast the bread if you want to. Ok finally here's the cure, you put mustard on the bread and in a few minutes the tummy ache is gone. I have even just ate the mustard because it's the mustard's acidity that is what's making it go away, the bread just makes it easier/tastier. You probably shouldn't put anything else like meat or lettuce and the other foods that go in a sandwhich.
Hope you feel better soon! I know I do.

Eat yogurt. It contains bacteria your stomach is lacking during an upset stomach. My microbiology professor and others have said this and I personally tried it and it works

Drink lots of liquids to flush out your system. Water is best. To avoid stomach aches (which I used to get monthly):
1. avoid non-pasteurized drinks - especially 'fresh squeezed orange juice' off the supermarket shelf.
2. don't eat out so often or at places that are not so hygenic.
3. eat well cooked food.
My theory is that most stomach aches are caused by food with bugs (microorganisms) in them.
Also try yougurt which has live cultures that destroy the bad microorganisms.

Drinking anything carbonated helps me a LOT! ginger ale works like magic. don't feel embarrased to burp as it will help push out the gas in you stomach.
also, if you aren't lactose intolerant, yogurt is a great remedy after a meal and can be a great laxative at times.

When i get a stomach ache, it usually doesnt go away for a few weeks. Tums works well when you just need relief for work or school. Usually when I get home, I lay on the couch and drink ginger ale or sprite. That helps too. Sometimes if I'm stressed out, I get a stomachache. Just relaxing and listening to a little classical music helps with that. You don't even have to like classical music to be relaxed by it. I usually listen to rock music, but that makes it worse. Mint helps too.

Try drinking very very hot water (about as hot as you can stand it), my grandmother showed me this, and 15 years later it still works for the most part. Also, not to sound like a bulimic, however if nothing from above works (i tried everything to no avail only a couple times) Make yourself vomit. This is because you most likely was poisoned by something (undercooked meat, and bad milk, are only few of the most obvious) and the reason you get the stomach aches because the your body is trying to push the poison out, so you just assist it a little bit. Like I said, this should be used as an absolutely last resort because constant comiting can do serious damage to your trachia (I am horrible at spelling, my apologies), but after doing that, you honestly do feel fine. I have used this method about 2 times in my lifetime and it honestly does make the pain go away. So if you can 'stomach' making yourself vomit, try that. Also, please be aware, this is coming from a 20 year old who does not know all, and I am sure that most of you if not all are older. So please do no critize me and chew me apart. Thank you!

I've found that cola syrup over crushed ice [or whole ice cubes, if you can't have it crushed] works best for an upset stomach. You can buy it at Wal*Mart, but over the counter, and I'm sure many other places sell it too.

I'm online at 3am looking for a cure to my severe stomach ache, and just realized that I have one and should try it first. I eat a slice of bread with cinnamon sugar on it and drink ice cold water. If you can't eat, drink the ice cold water and lay down with an ice pack on the most painful area. My mom used to give me flat coke or coke syrup over crushed ice when I was little, and it worked too.

So many people get stomach aches and sometimes it is impossible to take the pain, make sure you always are doing the right thing by washing your hands before and after meals and make sure you eat food that is healthy, one cure that may work is to make yourself a glass of lemonade (home made; squeezed lemon, sugar, water) and drink it all up, make sure the ingredients are fresh, another way is to make a cup of tea with freshly squeezed lemon and/or with some honey, to my point of view their helpful and should work. If you cannon take the pain and are crying it would be right to consult a doctor, and they will advice you or give you medicine.

The ketchup and mustard cocktail works wonders for even severe stomach ache and bloating. I've tried ketchup by itself and it works well; I've also tried mustard by itself and it doesn't work as well on your stomach as it does on your blood pressure. The combination together; however, is better than many medicines. Eat it by itself or on food. You won't believe how wonderful it works. Measuring it, I'd say that about 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons of ketchup and about 3/4 of a tablespoon of mustard mixture will do the trick.

Here is my remedy to help you next time that you have one. First avoid acid, I think that this adds to the problem. Secondly, avoid certain foods or drinks at this time like processed food or cola drinks. My remedy is based on science that a acid and base will become neurtal when mixed together. Use milk any kind will do , yogurt plain is better and antacid pills . Spin and mix these together with ice. Put it in a bottle or cup.
The ice will numb the pain.
The milk and yogurt will give you
energy to keep going.
The pills will help in futhur neurtalizing the access acid. This method is cheap and subsitutions are available. cost less than 5 dollors

If you eat something that has an ingredant you can not pronounce, you shouldnt eat it, Also pork is very unhealthy to eat. It causes your liver to get cloged with toxins wich and mess up your whole system. The biggest thing to to try and eat all natural foods, or kosher foods, if you can. There is a reason kosher food is kosher, namly because of the way the animals and plants have been rased and farmed. Also, anything that you know has caused problems in the past, even if it doesnt bother you every time you eat it, you should avoid it like the plague. Like milk only sometimes makes me sick, but because i'm intolerent to it, whether i feel the pain or not, it always messes up my system.

I get stomach troubles when I become anxious, which is common. For me ginger works well for stomach aches and mild acid reflux. You can either chew a small piece of ginger root or buy some ginger tea. Just be sure that the tea you buy has only ginger and not other things that may just aggravate it.

Directions: Drop a mint into any type of hot tea (I used maple tea) and let it do it's work on the tea for at least 45 seconds and enjoy! If there's some mint left at the bottom once the tea is gone you may enjoy that too, the more mint the better. (Not recommended if you have nausea)
I had a really bad stomach ache and this worked instantly, I thought of this because I watch the discovery channel a lot and back in the day they used mint leaves for stomach aches and to help with digestion and the mints we have now are a lot stronger I'm sure, so I dropped one in my tea and vela. I personally thought it worked better than tums which I usually have on hand but didn't this time. Good luck, I hope it works as well for you and you feel better. ;) I do notice the more healthy I eat and the less fried foods and cheese the less stomach aches I have, just a tip.

1. Drinking a 6oz glass of prune juice (its nasty, but helps)
2. Laying on my back with a heating pad on the spot that hurts
3. laying on my stomach with a pillow under the area that hurts.
all of these worked for me pretty well, but everyone is different.

Activated Charcoal is a good way to relieve an upset stomach. If you don't have charcoal on hand it's easy enough to make, just burn some toast. It helps absorb harmful things in your stomach, and move them on to the colon.
(This is also a good remedy of having one-too-many alcoholic beverages. If you have the spins eat small bits of burnt toast, it will help your aching stomach and help absorb any extra alcohol in your stomach)
