Hans's Eczema & Psoriasis 'Cure'
Eczema and psoriasis can be significantly reduced with exercise and diet. Work out in the sun and get a sweat going. Don't go crazy and if you're not in shape, that's okay. Just get out there and walk until you get a sweat going.
Drink plenty of green tea along with turmeric (curry spice). Drink these together as they are much more powerful that way. Drinking curry spice is not fun, but it works miracles (for a whole host of inflammatory problems including cancer and Alzheimer's).
Remember, get a sweat going when working out. The sweat will really help reduce the condition naturally and safely.
Now, for the itch...
1. Use Aveeno brand liquid soap and Aveeno moisterizer, period.
2. Use Neutrogena 3% acid shampoo on your skin to remove plaques *gently* (about 5-10 minutes...apply once or twice and lather into skin). Do not re-injure the skin by scratching hard or using abrasion. This will only cause more inflammation. (now the dead skin cells causing the itch will be removed and ready for the next step...ZNP Bar Soap)
3. Buy ZNP Bar (pyrithione zinc 2%) which is a blue soap bar you can get at a pharmacy and stops the itchies quick! It'll also dry out your skin, so use plenty of Aveeno moisterizer.
4. Now use a calamine lotion or cortizone (if you haven't been using it for years because it becomes less effective or even triggers symptoms) to keep the area calm.
5. Exercise, exercise and exercise. Get a sweat going, in the sun (great place to get Vitamin D). Or, if that is not an option, get a Nintendo Wii and DDR. :)
I posted this in the eczema section, but am reposting this information:
Turmeric (the stuff in curry spice) is an incredible anti-inflammatory and will help all eczema sufferers. It is proven as effective as steriods/corticosteriods, but don't let the pharmaceutical companies know that.
Buy Turmeric from healthfood store in pill form or at your local grocery store in bags full (to save money) and take 3-6 pills 500mg daily. Or mix with tea or put in food.
Eczema has a link with Candida fungus. When you eat sugars, it feeds the fungus which causes your body to 'overreact' or become inflamed. Your immune system attacks fungus around your entire body including skin, hence the itchie, scaly skin. (it's actually more complex, but I am shortening it up a bit)
Avoid sweets, gluten, dairy or foods with fungus to balance out your intenstinal flora. Find out slowly how much sweets, etc you can safely eat w/o showing symptoms. However, I suggest detox for the first few weeks including lost of Omega 3's (from Salmon or flaxseed, perhaps).
Many dermatologist don't recognize the above well established science and prescribe dangerous drugs.
Eczema is genetic and enviromental based. This means that you can effectively cure it, although technically it is not curable.

I have tried saturating my scalp with apple cider vinegar (which apparently helps to re-establish the balance of the PH) -- put it on with a towel on your head for about 1/2 hour to an hour, then wash it out with an herbal shampoo for dry scalp that has natural oils (jojoba, olive, etc) and no sodium laurel sulfate. At night, rub aloe vera and jojoba oil into the scalp and sleep in it overnight to let it soak in. I have been doing this for 4 days and it is a miracle -- itching and flakes are almost gone.

I have psoriasis with various size patches all over my body for the past 7 years. I have tried numerous ointments,(both prescription and nonprescription) vitamins and have given up wasting money on dermatologists. I have found out that using Vick's Vapor Rub or generic brands helps with itching and just after one application started rapid exfoliation of dead skin flaking. It may not have gotten rid of this disease but it does help with relief of pain and itching. Its inexpensive and why not give it a try?

For scalp irritations I use a hair mask.
1 overripe avacado (mashed)
1 T. olive oil (or another oil that works for your psoriasis)
1 t. honey
mash it all together and apply to wet hair. I rub it into my scalp, too. seal it with a shower cap (saran wrap works just as well) and let it set for 30-60 minutes. It's great for my itching and it keeps my flakes reasonable. It is also great for restoring body and luster to limp hair!

I have tried everything I have heard of and nothing takes my psorisis away completely but I have found that products with 'dead sea salts' certainly diminished the effects. It makes the skin softer and the area has become smaller also. If you are looking for a product with dead sea salts I have found one that works well for me It's AHAVA. I use the foot treatments because they have a higher level of dead sea salts in it and the cream is thicker. Hope this helps.

Pure Petroleum Jelly!!!!! Try it with a warm Dead Sea Salt Water bath at the end of your day or twice a day if you can for 15-20 minutes! I tried this for the first time yesterday and my psoriasis symptoms are 50% better then what they have been. All my red spots and patches are really light almost like a very light peach/pink color, kind of blends into my natural skin color. I had red dots all over my thighs and when i woke up about 20 minutes ago I was the happiest i have been in a month and a half, no red dots at all on my thighs.
here's what i have done so far
-100% Pure Petroleum Jelly!!! about 3 to 4 times through out the day.
yes it very thick and oily but it works!
-Dead Sea Salt Bath for 15-20 minutes.
Warm Water, add about 1/2 a cup of Dead Sea Salt (i bought it at walmart, cheap! Brand : Dead Sea Classics Dead Sea Bath Salts 100% Natural) Let your body soak in the water for about 10 minutes, after ten minutes scrub your skin to get dead skin off, soak for another 10 minutes. After bath, petroleum jelly your body, its easier when your skin in a little moist.
it has made a difference for me so far and i have only been doing this one day! reduces redness almost completly.
Psoriasis first appeared for me when i was 13. never had it anywere else except for my elbows, now im 18 and its all over my body. i live in miami so its hard for me to cover up from head to toe in this heat (although i broke out in November when the temp went down) I hate this skin desease, im tierd of explaning what i have, i'm tierd of 'is it contagious' im tierd of the rude stares. my little experiment is working for me so far and i hope it works for someone else.
ps. in walmart they sell this little soap bag which lets you put a soap bar inside and scrub your body, if you can find this 'loofa bag' i suggest that during your bath you throw in some dead sea salt and scrub , it stings for a quick second but it really helps.
wish me luch and i'll keep everyone posted!

I was diagnosed with psoriasis when I was 18, and I am now 35. I have tried every possible over the counter and prescription medications, including toxic meds to lower my immune system. Sure some of them did actually work while I was on them, however, most medications can only be taken short term and once discontinued the psoriasis came back worse than what it started as. Persistent to find some solution to this uncomfortable problem I have tried every remedy available and have found one that works for me and anyone I have passed it on to.
Here goes:
Soft water softner. Here is the best part, it only costs 3.95 at Wal-Mart.
Since I cannot afford to have a system put into my house, I used my creative ingenuity and made my own. (I did try just putting it in a bath and soaking for 20 minutes a day, way too time consuming) so here is what I did....
1. I bought a small laundry bag ( the ones you wash your fine washables in the washer)
2. Put approx. 2-3 cups of the softener pellets in the bag, do not zipper bag. You are going to use the opening of the bag to put the bag over your shower head.
3. You need to find something elastic to attatch the bag to your shower head. I used a thin scrunchie hair band. It held the bag in place for the water to run through the pellets and then on me. Shower as you normally would. You do not need to rinse this off with regular water.
Note: When you first start this it may burn if you have open lesions, keep with it, and that will stop within a few days. And your lesions will heal.
I did this twice a day for one month, and within one week, the itching was nearly gone, within 2 weeks the plaques were broken up into dots, the continuing weeks the dots became smaller and smaller until they were gone. Now I shower with it once a day, just for precaution.
If you are on prescription medicines, do not just quit taking them. Try this with your medications, and then talk to your doctor about discontinuing your medications.
I will honestly tell you I have no idea why this works, but it does. By no means am I saying this is a cure, as I on occassion have outbreaks when I eat my trigger foods. However, I resume to showering twice a day and stay away from the food that brought it about again.
If you are sick of this disease, and your bank account drained because of expensive treatments. Try it, what do you have to lose. About $5 and a 25 minutes a day for a month.

I have had Psoriasis for 2 years. I'm 27 years old and this whole thing has freaked me out. I cannot afford a dermatologist and lately it's been spreading BAD. So I did a little online research and came across a lady who said she used bag of balm to cure her Psoriasis. I have been applying it for 3 day as well as a over the counter salytic acid 3% and it's already starting to clear up.
Wish me luck!

I have had mild but annoying psoriasis for the past 10 years (ankles, feet, palms). Recently my Doctor suggested Saw Palmetto for my prostate enlargement. It hasn't yet had a profound impact on my prostate but I think it might have lessened the severity of my psoriasis. Saw Palmetto is a extract from the berry of the palm of that name and seems to have no adverse side effects. I hope this helps someone.

I've had psoriasis all my life and it has always been a problem for me. I'm 16 years old and I feel like i cant go out or do anything because people tend to stare at my skin. I have it all over my face, scalp, ears, neck, back and chest so it's very hard to try and cover up. I have tried soooo many different treatments but the ones from my doctor seemed to make it worse with redness and itching. I moved to Spain two years ago and in the summer months it completely vanishes but as soon as October arrives its back again. I have found that daily washes with warm water and a table spoon of sea salt really helped me but be careful i don't know if this would work for everyone as it can burn the skin if not rinsed off with clear water. Hope i help someone else.

I was diagnosed with psorasis 1 yr ago, it rapidly worsend until I got cellulitis in my legs from the itching and broken skin and was hospitalized twice. A nurse showed me how to care for the condition on my feet and within 2 weeks of leaving the hospital my skin was mostly healed and pink. This is my regimen:
1.Daily after bathing ( twice a day) I use a wound cleaner called SkinIntegrity which thoroughly removes any dead skin and bacteria. It also soothes the skin and not alcohol based.
2. I use over the counter Psoracin-gel or ointment which is coal tar based. It heals the broken skin and the redness disappears very quickly.
3. If I am not going to wear socks or plan to expose my skin to the environment, by walking in sandals, I will apply a light layer of some petroleum based, vitamin enriched skin barrier, like Aquaphor. This is to just protect skin from bacteria penetrating any small, not yet healed area and retain moisture in the skin wwhich is very important. It has been two months since the hospital stay and my feet are at their best in over a year.
three doctors who treat me are amazed at the rate of recovery with my new regimen. I also have been doing a liver detox along with digestive enzymes that I was told would help. I also do not eat pork at all, which seems to flare the psorasis when eaten...and I used to really enjoy pork. I was so desperate, I am glad that I found something that really works or me. Good luck to all of you.

I am 61 and had Psoriasis since I was 16. There are several different types.
Mine WAS dry crusty scales. I read about a guy who advocated Cod Liver Oil.
Now this only works if your s responds to sunshine, like over a holiday it looks better! If so its the vitamen D thats doing the trick. So lots of Cod Liver Oil. Forget capsules, treated oil etc. use only Pure Liquid and its cheap
from the Supermarket ( use their own) How much should you take, well forget RDA's you need three Teaspoons a day. At first it tasdtes awful but after a while its OK. The only side effect is
greasy stools when you go to the loo. So no constipation either. 2 - 3 months it will be gone! Reduce the dose to one Teaspoon a day to maintain skin like a baby's.

I have had psoriasis for almost 2 years. I recently ran across a lady from India who advised me that sea salt helps. She also advised me to take one sea salt/epsom salt bath a week and a oatmeal bath the following day. The sea salts helps remove toxins from your body while the oatmeal helps moisten your body. Throughout the week take showers using dove but let the water immediately rinse as you wash so that it doesnt completely remove your natural body oils, take 2 cups of sea/epsom salt and pour into a warm bath soaking no more than about 30 mins at most. As you are letting your water run out of the tub rinse again with warm water, use soft lotion everyday. I personally have started using dove everything (soap, body wash, deodorant, and shampoo and conditioner) because it is very mild. The next day take an old stocking and fill the foot with real oatmeal and let it run under the faucet as you run a warm bath. Again 30 mins at most. Long shower with strong soaps reduce your body's oils and can cause your condition to worsten. I wont say this is the best thing to do for everyone, but my condition seems to be getting better by the week.

I've had psoriosis all my life and I am 51 years old and I know how it can be having the skin disease. Through my life I always tried to hide it and I know what you are going through. I've always had a complex about it and as I get older it seems to be subsiding. I found that if you brush your affected areas with a loofer sponge in the shower with dove soap that I've always used will help. Also use vaseline intensive care total moisture conditioning lotion on your extremeties and affected areas 2-3 times daily, especially out of the shower has worked wonders for me and I can actually see my knees which I haven't seen in years. You should try it. You can get it in the supermarket or drugstore and its made me a very happy gal. Good Luck.

Topically with a q-tip, I applied the following directly on the psoriasis sites on my scalp with the following items i already had in my own medicine cabinet at the time: Bayer Healthcare's Dermal Therapy Heal Care Cream (25% urea) in combination with Vitamin E gel, Aloa Vera gel and then a few drops of 'Obey your Body' cutical oil (with original dead sea minerals) then it was amazing. in only 2 days my scalp was soaking in the goodnesss and the scales disappeared and the red is greatly disappearing, the itch is gone and the psoriasis hold on my scalp seems to be leaving, hopefully for good! PS I sat out in the sun for a little while after that and shampoo only with nutragena TGel or Sgel

I have been dealing with scalp psoriasis for several years, only finding out last summer what the problem was. I've tried the Rx shampoos (VERY costly!!), the Neutragena, the store brand salacylic acid shampoos ... you name it! I've gotten two good suggestions from this forum ... fresh aloe vera and Dead Sea salts. I scraped out the insides of the aloe leaves into a blender, then used a meat flavor injector (needle removed!!)syringe to target the affected area. It worked very well. What has also helped me is Dead Sea Mud shampoo. Regular use of this shampoo has kept my condition down from severe to mild. One last suggestion: Natur-Leaf supplements. They regulate the immune system so that if your immune system is over-active it calms it down or under-active it boosts it. I hope you find this information useful.

from WebMD: Indigo Naturalis cream, a traditional Chinese herbal therapy, proved safe and effective in clearing plaque lesions in patients with treatment-resistant psoriasis, a controlled study found. An ointment made from indigo naturalis, a dark-blue plant-based powder used in traditional Chinese medicine, appeared safe and effective in treating plaque-type, treatment-resistant psoriasis.
After 12 weeks, indigo-treated psoriasis lesions showed an 81% improvement, whereas lesions in the same patients treated with a non-medical ointment improved by 26%, Jong-Hwei Su Pang, M.D, of Chang Gung University and colleagues reported in the November issue of Archives of Dermatology.
In 74% of the patients, lesions treated with the indigo ointment cleared completely or nearly so, the researchers said.
If anybody tried Indigo Naturalis for their psoriasis, please share your experience.

Hi all.
I can strongly recommend a ointment called ''Triamcinolone Acetonide''.
I went to the doctors for a unrelated thing last week and he suggested it.
After only 1 day I saw a HUGE difference, the white scales completly vanished.
I have been using it twice a day for a week now, no more scales. The redness is still there but is getting better each day.
The best thing is that it was dirt cheap, I have a decent prescription plan and the small tube only cost me around 3 dollars.
I have had psoriasis for about 10 years now, steadily getting worse each year. I have spent probably Thousands of dollars trying to treat it.
This is by far the most effective thing I have tried.
I hope this helps someone, good luck to all of my fellow sufferers.

Someone on this site recommended using aloe vera gel for their psoriasis saying that they were afforded great relief. Well, I'm here to tell you that I am SO GLAD that I read this person's suggestion. Because I have scalp psoriasis, it's difficult to get anything past my hair and onto the scalp. I opted to use several fresh leaves from my aloe vera plant, carefully removing one side of the skin and scraping the inside jelly into a dish. I tried to mash and whip it with a fork, but it still stayed fairly slimy and my husband did his best to try getting it down onto my scalp. The next day my head felt better and, to my delight, the dried aloe 'goo' brushed out clean (quite the opposite of Vick's Vapo Rub!!). The next night I put the freshly scraped gel into my mini food processor and liquified it. I then took the metal tip off my poultry flavor infuser syringe and sucked up the liquid. My husband found that this was a much easier and effective method for application ... not to mention it gave him fuel to tease me about his 'basting' my head! :-) I've done this for 4 nights and my scalp is SO MUCH better!
Someone else mentioned mixing Neutragena T-Gel and T-Sal, which is what the dermatologist had recommended I do. I've not been impressed with the results. However, I did find a new shampoo at Wal-Mart called Dermarest (Del Pharmaceuticals). It is a shampoo/conditioner in one. While I still felt I needed to put conditioner on the ends of my (shoulder-length) hair, it didn't leave my scalp tight and dry feeling like the 50/50 mixture does.
So, right now I feel I'm on the right treatment path ... fresh aloe vera gel at night and the Dermarest shampoo a couple of times per week.
Also, do your best to keep your stress at bay, even if it means using herbal stress relievers. I am not an Herbalife distributor but I've tried one of their products called 'Relax Now' and it works quite nicely. Unlike St. John's Wort and some of the others, you can use it daily.
Has your dermatologist mentioned that psoriasis is an auto-immune disease and can be caused by an imbalanced immune system? Probably not. They're too into prescribing steroids and other disturbing pharmaceuticals. Plant sterols/sterolins have been found to put an immune system back into balance whether over-active or under-active. There is a product called 'Nature Leaf' that is said to have the highest, most effective concentration of plant sterols/sterolins currently on the market.
I hope that you can use this information and that it will help you as it seems to be doing for me. Take care.

I have had psoriasis for the past 20years, and have tried countless treatments, both prescription and home remedies, with little to no relief. Lately, I have been eating a cereal that contains flax seeds every morning, and you wouldn't believe the difference! I won't claim that this is a wonder-remedy, because I still do have the plaques, but they have thinned out a lot, and are not nearly as red or painful as before.
You can find flax seeds in the health food section of many grocery stores, and can sprinkle them in yogurt or in your favorite cereal, or whatever other variation you can think of.

Right now suffering from psoriasis I believe it's what it is(scratching nonstop which worsten and helps spread out). I had this few years ago and thought I got it from using old Jergens Petroleum Jelly (infested with micro fungus perhaps)found together with other body lotions under sink cabinet. This was few years ago. Now I am not sure what I applied on my skin...I suggest you throw away any beauty products 2 months old or more. But from doing research, I discovered being unhealthy and staying up late makes you vulnerable to skin allergy reactions. Also causing your body to dispose toxins through skin. I am not a food hungry eyes person. So I just eat whatever parents served and simply take supplements after--I mostly eat once or twice a day. But been weeks since I ran out of supplements...So I guess I have been vulnerable to rashes. To know if rash is going away, if it tends to flatten and spreads wide to levelling with unaffected skin.
Here's what I tried that works and didn't work:
1. Fragrance free lotion but gradually helps ease the itch and of spreading out. Safe-zone solutions if you got patience to waiting for days and days until rash goes away. Even using Sarna Sensitive (anti-itch lotion for Eczema and for other sensitive skin). Must apply frequently to avoid the pain.
2. Alcohol and Hydrogen Peroxide is a NO NO. I even mixed these together day after. Only swollens the rash--tends to severe the rash if skin is dry and too much chemicals.
3. Salt & water helps ease the pain but have not seen results whether if curing the rash. But minutes later back to itchy skin......
4. Vicks Vapor Rub does help ease the pain but minutes later....itchy skin again. But does help shed the scales on the rash--of mother rash it shows. Apply only less than half of affected body and wait until the freezing cold feeling disappears. Then apply on the other half. You would not want to freeze to death -_-
Here is my new attempt (hoping will work wonders):
Wash skin with very warm water. Then apply salt/water and let it dry. Then wash the crystals with warm water. Then use white plain vinegar and let it dry for minutes. Then wash it off again. Then apply Vicks. Or next day I will use Sarna instead of Vicks or Sarna and Vicks.
I will update soon.

I would strongly recommend trying this. Apply distilled vinegar to open psoriasis it will string but that is good that means it is working. I just put some on toilet paper and let it soak in. Make sure that the vinegar goes into the skin so no flakes. I just scratch at them to make bleed to get into the skinIt take many time but will disappear. I get them on my knees and elbows but they are gone.I also had one on my eyelid for many many years and I tried it it is gone!!! I hope this works for you like it did me. I have had psoriasis for 16 years I have tried every treatment known and the best thing is an aromatherapy blend which is lavender, geranium and bergamot mixed with a base cream, drops in the bath, or a burner most effective when applied to the skin twice a day!
isnt instant and takes time but it will go! well it went for me! using uv light i.e. sunbed helps aswell!

I mix a 50/50 solution of Salicylic Acid Shampoo and T+ Plus Gel Shampoo. *I wash my scalp with it every other day. *I also apply it (full strength)to my knees and elbows, then wrap them with plastic wrap once a week for an hour.
I have had really good results.

Hi all, i have been living in mexico for the past 6 months and for some reason, my psoriasis got really bad, worst its been ever, I am trying a home remedy that was sugested from a friend. Take 10 egg shells and clean them well with water..NO SOAP. Put the eggshells(crushed) in a stainless stell bowl and add enough white vinager to cover the eggshells, wait 4 days and strain the mixture. It will create a sludge... Apply the sludge on affected areas on clean dry affected areas an wait one hour and rinse. Im doing it tomorrow, will keep you posted.

I am not sure if I have eczema or psoriasis, but I read something in my local paper that suggested rubbing a banana peel on affected psoriasis areas once a day. It was said that after 3 days the patches were 90% clear. I have tried it for almost a week now and have found that, once the burning stops, it does help, and the redness has improved alot. The itching comes back so I was wondering if more than 1 application would help? I think my main problem is that I can't seem to stop scratching, most time I don't realize what I am doing untill it is to late! Very painful and bleeeding, but not itching lol. I wish I could banish it forever.

I am using aloe from the plant itself and it does help. It stops the itching and it looks better. I just put a drop of the sap on area and let it dry. I am not sure if it will heal it up but it sure does feel a whole lot better. I have tried about everything. Pills, lotions, even some weird stuff and by far this works the best. The good thing is an aloe plant is inexpensive compared to some of the stuff that has failed. I hope someone else can benefit from this.

My boyfriend got me Champori anti-Psoriasis cream and spray a week ago. I have psoriasis on my hands and feet and also on my one leg. I have had it for 18 years. I have had a lot of creams and things and the only thing I could fine that would work was cortizone-10.
But since I got Champori product I am feeling a lot better and my hands, feet and leg is not as painful and red.I feel it is helping me a lot. I love it so much and I have told a lot of my friends about it. My boyfriend said he found out about champori from a biker friend that he met at bike week in Maryland. I recommend Champori to all people with psoriasis.

I am 21 and have had psoriasis for as long as I can remember. Mine takes the form of small scales all over my body. Within the past year or so the condition of my skin has gotten better and I believe I have been able to identify the sources of this improvment.
Firstly my attitude towards my skin. I know it sucks but it is the way things are and I have it and their is no sense hiding it or locking myself in a room. If it freaks people out that is their problem, if they ask me what it is, I just tell them. I still have friends I am engaged to be married, life still goes on. I believe this attidute has helped because the external is a representation of the internal.
Secondly the medicine I use. Firstly when I am in the shower I wash my hair with T-gel or a similar brand. Any shampoo that uses tar coal as the active ingredient. I then use a body exfoliator. The brand I use and have had great results from is 'firming' Body/Corps by Sundari. It comes in a big tub and is great for srubbing off the old dead skin. Then I use a bar of tar coal soap. I don't know what it is with tar coal it just has always worked. Then when I am done showering I use a moisturizer either baby oil or something with aloe.
Thirdly the RX drugs. The only one that I have come to respect is Ulox foam. It is a steriod and a strong one. However when I add it to my routine, before moisturizing, the effects are dramatic and long lasting. For example after having used the steriod three times; once in the morning, again at night and then once more in the morning, my psoriasis will be reduced to white patches where the red plaques used to be. And they will remain that way for roughly a week, at which point my skin will again begin to flair.
I hope this helps someone, I would highly recommend the body scrub.

For my dry itchy scaly scalp problem which flares up now and then. I finally found that a natural product called Flexitol does a good job on the areas around the nose and scalp line. I also got some Jason's aloe vera(84%) shampoo and conditioner. I use lots of the conditioner and leave it on for as long as possible and don't overwash it out. It has worked really well. Remedy shampoo by Lanza is also a good alternate but the Jason's product is the best so far.

Chap Stick has worked great for my psoriasis! I have a spot on my hand that I tried a bunch of stuff for. It was so cracked and dry and hurting and nothing seemed to help. I finally put chap stick on it in despiration and in about 2 days there was a huge difference! It is still pink but not cracking and peeling and hurting. Try it!

I have gone to 3 doctors to try to manage my psoriasis. All the drugs they gave me did not work well, finally one doctor took a blood test (since psoriasis is a immune system problem) I was shown to be low in vitamin B12 and zinc I have psoriasis on the palm of my hands and the soles of my feet. I have cracks so bad on my feet it was hard to walk sometimes. I took the b12 vitamin and zinc for 2 weeks and have had great success. Almost normal....Good luck Tina

Just started this about a week ago. I'M all ready seeing MAJOR improvements. I use Cetaphil Lotion and dead sea salts. Take 2 small hand fulls of Dead see salt, (you can buy at walmart for about $5), pour into a half bottle of cetaphil lotion. Make sure you dissolve the dead sea salt rocks thoroughly while shaking bottle to mix contents. Apply to affected areas, (not in scalp) You will start seeing results after about 2 applications. Keep doing this once a day, until skin is clear. Be warned, this my sting a little, I would not advise using on open plaques that are bleeding, it WILL sting! I also use H20 spa sea salt body wash. My skin is about 50% clear and getting better every day because of this treatment I came up with. Good luck!

I have had psoraisis for years. I have found that if you use a shampoo without the lauryl sulfate that your salp won't itch. I have used Denorex which works wonderfully. You can also buy burts bees shampoo and that is lauryl sulfate free. Make sure your conditioner is the same way.

I developoed psoriasis 6 years ago. I've tried every conventional and home remedy out there. My last resort was acupuncture. I noticed a difference after only two sessions. It is painless. The practitioner puts a really teeny tiny needle in the outside of the crook of your arm. I'm so excited I can soon wear shorts and capris again. Give it a try!
