I live in Tenn. and if there's a chigger anywhere--it'll find me! When i know i have to walk on grass--i cover my ankles and legs with skin so soft first-Don't know why they don't like it-but it sure keeps them off of me. I ALWAYS do this if i'm going to go fishing on a bank or doing any kind of yard work. This will surprise you how good it works.
