Dad developed bubbly staph?or Bacterial? ear infection running length wise on the outer rim of his ear. Native American elderly women told me to make mixture paste of garlic and Onion smashed very fine.Use back of knife to smash into paste. Also smash 1 -2 Tabls. onion after dicing it as fine as possible. I used the end of a panty hose- not reinforced toe- shear, to make the creamy pulp of onion and garlic combined and any oil remaining later to be used to mixed together. (keep left over in small glass glass container like baby food jar. Both can be smashed in hose. After mixture is made, combine neosporin or bacatrin cream together with paste of garlic and onion. Add one teaspoon of honey. I cut made a covering with coffee filter to fix around the outer part of ear.USE clear tape to make any shape to hold together. The mixture was placed inside the pocket enough to cover infection and was placed against the infection. WIth the neosporin or bacatracin cream, this hold the garlic onion mixture. USed ace bandage wrapped around head to hold this little coffee filter cup in place against ear. I applied this every night before bed. Dad slept on it for 8 hours. In the morning, it was removed and aired out. At night it was repeated for about a week. Skip procedure every other day day once the infections begins to be drawn out otherwise you can burn the tender ear. When the covering over ear is removed you will see the infection drained out and a see the new skin lifting and molting like snake skin. Dead skin will be left than should not be removed until infection is totally cleared. Skin on ear outer lining would lift. After the fourth treatment, use clean tweezers disinfected to remove dead skin. Brand new skin is left similar to what a healing burn looks like. Amazing to see infection cleared. USe gloves- after infection and dead skin is removed, apply honey to finish healing. Keep area clean and aired out. Dr was shocked and amazed to see a new ear lining cleared and new skin appearing where infection was located. After steroids, meds, nothing worked like this native American remedy. Olvera gel can also be applied to ear or wound to keep soft on road to total recovery. This native American woman said no one ran to any drug store for remedies in her time. This is great for landscapers who can get terrible infections when not using gloves. Onion and garlic are like miracles natural medicine. Also can have echincea in tea or pil form too.

Poisonous Bites

If the area turns beet red and or black, seek medical help, but also buy a lb of bacon- wrap the area with many strips (make sure you cover the entire area) overnight and by the next morning upon awakening, you will see most if not all of the infection gone and regular skin color. The bacon will be 'cooked' from the infection (dont eat) If you have some persistent redness do it again the following night. I was bitten, to this day i cant identify by what, but the sting was excrutiating. Went to the hospital as leg was turning black. Dr. said if your leg is redder tomorrow call 911. He gave me antibiotics. 5 days later, the red spot was larger and the dr. said there was a possibility they may have to take drastic measures.
A friend saved my life by bringing me the bacon. All the doctors were amazed!

I recently (5-2008) had incisive and laser surgeries to remove some scars on my arm. Of course, one of the incisions became infected (as they did in 6-2006). The whole area was red, inflamed and painful. I first applied a mixture of Smile's Prid Salve and alum. Then I layed a tea bag on it (all I had was a Celestial Seasoning Green Tea w/ honey and lemon) and wrapped it up in Saran Wrap. The next day the swelling was significantly reduced and the pain was almost gone. One day after that (after regularly wipping with the tea bag) the whole infection was gone. (Thanks for the suggestion T>G!).

This isn't going to work for all infections... Just the real basic kind. So, if you had a cut and when it starts to heal it gets infected the way I fix this, it happens to my toe alot because I'm always hurting my feet without knowing it until it gets infected. You take a safetypin/tack/sewingneedle and clean it in hot water and rubbing alchohol then just stab it so as to make an exit for the puss and squeez until you've squeezed all the puss out. For bigger cuts I assume you might need more than one hole, but I've never had a verry big infected area so just one has always worked for me... After you get the puss out use hydrogen peroxide on it and let it do its bubbly thing whipe it off and repeat untill there aren't anymore bubbles or at least verry little bubbles left. The for good measure clean it with alchohol, put some type of anti-bacteriol cream on it and bandage it...

Bacon works! I had an infection in my big toe, on the side, between my skin and nail. I'm not sure how it happened. I was about to go to the drs., but read the bacon suggestion. I wrapped 1 slice of bacon around my toe and put my foot ina plastic bag, without securing the top. My infection is now gone. Try it, it worked, and my infected toe was sore and looked rather bad.

Honey has proven to be better than all medicinal antibiotics that are generally used to treat severe wounds like the ones caused by staph infections. It is known to release hydrogen peroxide onto the wound which helps to kill bacteria. Just apply a little honey on the wound with help of cotton and cover it with gauze or bandage.

Deep infection after hip operation. Had seven hip operations on right hip. The first ones were not successful, there were infections around the metals. And it has troubled me, and in december 2011 it growed into a little red and white 'ball', the doctor gave me only 2 days for it to burst. However after strong prayer, and juicing on vegetables, carrots, celery, garlic, red chilli, ginger, spinach etc. Fruit juices of apples, orange, pears etc. In one month the infection has gone back to nothing. It works.

The raw bacon really works!! I remember as a child, I stepped on dirty, broken glass. Naturally, a nasty infection followed, complete with red streak reaching to my ankle. A neighbor wrapped my foot with a strip of raw bacon, across the wound, and within hours, the streak was gone. With normal care (clean and dry) the wound healed quickly with no problems.

Twice in the last year I've gotten really bad infections - one on my hand from a dog bite and another on my ankle from a cut that got infected. The one on my ankle was so bad I couldn't walk and my whole leg was swollen. Here is the method i used both times and saw amazing results right away: Take a ziploc bag. Cut a hole in the bag large enough to fit around the area of the infection. Using a strong tape such as duct tape or medical tape, attach the bag to the infected area so the hole you cut fits over the area - leaving the ziploc area at the top unzipped and accessible. Make sure the bag is taped directly to the skin surrounding the hole or else this will get very messy. Once the bag is secure, place the following inside the ziploc bag: a couple slices of bread, a few tablespoons of ground flax seed and enough whole milk to fully soak the bread. Make sure the bag is sealed up tight - with any excess air removed. Knead the mixture around with your fingers. Use more of the tape to make sure the bag is securely fastened to the area. Leave the bag on over night. in the morning remove it and clean the area. Both times i used this method just in the first night a large portion of the infection had been sucked out. If there is still remaining infection you can repeat this method. Sometimes it can take a few days for all of it to drain. *Note: this only works if there is a cut or puncture for the infection to drain. If there isn't one you can make one with a sanitized needle
