I apply a hot towel to soften the area. If the bump busts, I use an alcohol soaked tissue to squeeze the remaining fluid out of the bump and wipe the area clean. If there is a hair in the bump, I use tweezers to pull the hair out from the root. You have to grab the hair as close to the skin as possible to make sure you pull it all the way out - you may see a white bulb at the end. After I get the hair out, I squeeze the area again with a new alcohol tissue to squeeze anymore fluid out. Then I apply Aveda Active oil to the affected area. I apply it once a day until the pain goes away.
