When you are dehydrated, your body not only becomes deprived of water but also of electrolytes. For children, pedialyte is great. For adults, there are many waters on the market like Glaceau's Smart Water which tastes just like mineral water, but it contains needed electrolytes.

Dont want to shop? Here's a recipe for
Electrolyte Water:

1 Quart Water
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon table salt
3 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt substitute (lite salt) - if you have it. Its ok if not.
