Bear with me on this one. If you have a small dog, relax on the coach or bed, and place them on your stomach. The body weight and warmth is better than a heating pad, and you can't beat the unconditional love.

This might sound a little gross, but masturbation works the best after taking some Midol. Preferably not with your hand, a vibrating back massage will do the trick. It works like a charm and will definitely relax you enough to put you to sleep.

Heat is fantastic. Also, and this takes endurance to try, but a friend's mentioned success with contrast therapy. Start with a cold pack on your pelvis for 5-10 minutes (which your body will be a bit angry about if you are cramping), then switch to heat. NOTE: Talk to your doctor about using cold or heat. There are times when either or both are contraindicated. For instance for those with high blood pressure, cardiac issues, poor sensitivity to temp, vasospastic disease, respiratory disorders, Raynaud's syndrome, among others.
Also, earlier in your cycle you can seek ilio-psoas massage. Do not attempt to receive this work when you are menstruating, as it will most likely encourage worsening cramps if you do. It can be very physically and emotionally difficult to receive this form of massage, but some women find this treatment to be effective at lessoning cramps during mentstration if received earlier in the cycle.
A WORD OF ADVICE THOUGH: Persistent or worsening cramping, or cramping which interferes with your daily life may be a sign of other pelvic conditions. Talk to your doctor, or a clinic if this is the case.
Staying hydrated (that means good old, plain H2O), laying off the caffeine (if an option), getting rest, and staying physically active (if in the condition to do so) throughout your cycle can have a large impact on cramping, and even mood, as well.

My grandmother always gave me a hot cup of water with powder ginger in it. It worked like a charm! Naturally you can buy ginger root and boil that also. Sweeten with honey or no sweetner at all. I have also had natural ginger ale to work also (read the label to make sure the drink has ginger in it and no refined sugar--usually from health or whole foods stores.

I have had the most severe cramps in my life and had tried almost everything, but nothing worked. Recently one of my cousins told me to drink milk with one tablespoon of honey, first thing every morning. I did that and the following month, it worked like MAGIC.
So u might wanna try it out. Believe me, its the best remedy but be sure not to skip it cuz then it might not work.

To eliminate menstrual cramps completely (and leg cramps, too) try taking calcium supplements with vitamin D and magnesium. Take the supplement with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The added benefits include less PMS, less osteoporosis (or osteopenia), and better sleep (due to the magnesium).

Take a bag of frozen food out of your freezer (smaller items like peas and pasta tend to work best) and place them on top of your stomach while you lay on your back. The weight of the food places pressure on the abdomen, allowing the cold to sink in and work more effectively

Cold temps around you, open a window or turn on the fan but just have heat to the stomach, I always open a window and have those magic microwavable bean bag to my stomach.
Or a warm to hot bath. Midol every 4-6 hrs keeps the cramps away, If you let the cramps come then take midol it takes time to work and while your waiting your just suffering just keep taking them to prevent the pain.

This works great for me now read carefully.
First of all you need to have a full belly eat a good balanced meal. No fruits or orange juice acid taste in food... (ect) drink soda or gingeale with food I prefer cocacola or pepsi no orange soda or 7up or anything like that. Then take 2 pain relieving pills right after meal. Fill up a plastic 2 litter bottle with hot water and wrap a small towel around it. Lay down comfortably entertained to keep your mind off the pain and place the hot bottle on your lower belly. Your cramps should feel way lighter now. Keep eating bread (whole wheat if your watching ur weight) and no cheese or lemon or oranges. I suggest bananas and penut butter sandwhich and drink soda. And keep the bottle on ur belly. Its the best way.

For menstrual cramps: When I was young my grandma used to do this to me and it would really work and trust me I had the worst cramps.I even fainted once at school. I do this to my daughter too and helps a lot. First you warm your ironer NOT TO HOT. Then fold a towel and put over your stomach. Then iron the towel just like you would with a shirt. It's simple and easy.

Take 6-8 oz of water (about a regular mug)and break three or four sticks of cinnamon. Put the water in a saucepan or something like that over the stove and place the cinnamon in. Bring it all to a low simmer and let it keep simmering for about two minutes. If you want, put some sugar or honey in the tea. This works really great, plus taking midol or some other pill for that,i dont like taking pills but i only do it when i get cramps. take them preferably right when you start your peroid so they can take effect before the cramps start or get too bad.

I've had bad cramps since the first day I started my period and I've tried almost everything. Hot water bottles, Midol, Tylenol, and other prescribed medicines from my physician and none of them seemed to have worked. A friend of mine finally recommended to me to try Ibuprofen and it works AMAZING. Within 10-15 minutes of taking the pill, I felt the pain start to alleviate. They come in increments of 200mg and 500mg, that I know of (500 being extra strength). Both dosages work for me, but I find that the 500mg is longer lasting, even up to 2 days on some periods. I really recommend this. The only thing I advise, is to probably take the pill right before you eat something or afterwards, that can really prevent you from feeling nauseous or tired. Good Luck & I hope I've helped !

To eliminate feelings of anger, depression, and cramps during menstration, all you need to do is drink fresh coconut juice and eat the meat. Old coconuts, which are hairy and brown, have more meat while young coconuts have sweeter juice. You can find them at asian or indian stores. You should drink two cups of coconut juice every day, for as long as your period lasts.(don't forget to eat the coconut meat too)
This can cure even the worst of cramps.
