Use a cleansing foam with herbal plant extracts from Ribwort or Liquorice root. Both work fine as a natural and gentle germicide. Body odour is caused by bacteria on the skin which are splitting up sweat. The sweaty fluid itself does not smell, but while it's divided into its compounds by the germ butonic acid is produced, an acid which smells typically sour. This is the malodor that we know as 'the smell of sweat'. Some people suffer from permanent body odour, a commonly unknown illnes called Bromhidrosis. On those people's skin the 'bad' bacteria grows uncontrollably. The deodorization foams mentioned above will help to reduce the bacterial flora to a normal level.

Mix 1 tbsp liquid chlorophyll (you can get this mint flavord) in water and drink everyday. The chlorophyll is an 'internal deoderant' and will cleanse your blood and make all 'discharges' smell better - body odor, foot odor, female odor, etc.

For as long as I could remember, I always have a lot of under arm sweating, to the point where it would drip down my arms. I've tried almost every stick of deodorant/anti-persperant on the shelf, clinical strength and what not, with no luck. In fact many of them actually gave me a rash after a few hours.
There's only one thing I can do to prevent excessive sweating.
The longer I wait to put a shirt on after showering, the dryer I stay. If I were to start getting dressed right after drying off, it'd be 5 minutes until I need another shower and a new shirt.
I suppose this may not apply to everybody, but it's the only thing that seems to apply to me so far.

A natural doctor told me once to use a lemon.
you take a lemon, and cut it in half, remove the seeds, and you can use this as a deodorant, it will cover the smell and help a lot with perspiration. you can re use the half of the lemon used, just use something to seal it with like plastic wrap and keep it in your fridge, just make sure everyone knows which lemon not to eat :)

Deodorant
equal parts Baking Soda and Cornstarch mixed. Add a few drops of Essential Oil if you prefer. The baking soda neutralizes odors while the cornstarch absorbs excess moisture. (It's natural to sweat! It's also healthy)
The essential oil just gives a pleasant scent throughout the day.
Also,
Tea Tree Oil rubbed underarms works wonders! It's a natural antiseptic and once the initial strong smell wears off you're good to go!

Use tea-tree oil instead of deodorant or antiperspirant (which is very bad for you). It works *loads better* than antiperspirant, and somehow even when you sweat, you don't stink. Very cool.
I have only just discovered this, and it's changed my entire routine. It's my greatest discovery.
The only downfall is that you may not like the smell. I know I do, and my boyfriend does too, however!

What worked for me is eliminating the use of a solid deodorant. The solid deodorant would get trapped in my pores/hair follicles (I'm a woman and shave) and build up over time. Pretty yucky if you think about it. I switched to using baking soda, which was the only think that seemed to work for me. Once in a while I will use a roll on deodorant. But seriously, if you shave, get off the solid deodorant.

use deodorants that are made of 100% natural minerals. (rock minerals or crystal deodorants). they do not just coat the odor with perfume; they're in fact fragrance-free, they eliminate those bacteria that cause the odor. tyr applying every day and after a week the odor will be gone!

ZINC!ZINC!ZINC! Thank God for Zinc! I take a daily tablet of Zinc of 50mg (bought at the vitamin dept. at walmart),and my armpits don't stink anymore AT ALL! I can be outside doing yard work and at the end of the day my armpit don't stink. This has been an embarassing issue for me for years and I found myself constantly throwing away shirts that has been ruined by the odor. Take zinc with a glass of milk or food, do not take it on a empty stomach.

I have heard that you can mix baking powder + water, form a paste and let it sit on the inside armpit of your jacket to take the odor out of the fabric.
Anyone knows of a easier way to neutralise?
Tea tree oil?

There are several remedies out there that are effective. Baking soda being the best. I mixed baking soda with lemon and it worked perfectly for a day. This has to repeated daily. I also tried using an antibacterial roll on made by Nivea (Silver protect). It contains silver ions which help a lot. Herbal and antibacterial shower soap or gel is important too. These remedies helped me. Hope it works for you too.

IF YOU ARE SUFFERING FROM SERIOUS ARMPIT ODOR THAN TEA TREE OIL IS FOR YOU.IT HAS WORKED WONDERS FOR ME AND I HAVENT HAD A PROBLEM WITH BO SINCE.I LOVE IT!! I BUY IT FROM THE WHOLE FOODS STORE FOR LIKE 7 DOLLARS AND A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY.SOME BRANDS MAY BE STRONGER THAN OTHERS SO MAKE SURE BEFORE YOU USE TEST A SMALL AREA LIKE THE INSIDE OF YOUR WRIST, BEHIND YOUR KNEE OR THE INSIDE OF YOUR ELBOW FOR ANY TYPE OF RASH.IT WORKS SO GOOD LUCK. PS TEA TREE OIL HAS A SMELL TO IT ITSELF BUT YOU CAN COVER IT UP WITH YOUR NORMAL DEODORANT.BUT SINCE IT WORKS SO WELL THAT YOU PROBABLY END UP NOT WEARING ANY AT ALL.NATURAL IS ALWAYS THE WAY TO GO!!

When I went to nursing school, my instructor told me about a natural deoderant named 'Crystal'. Seeing that the scent from the armpit is caused by bacteria, and salt kills bacteria. This is the perfect solution! I've been using it for months now and I've noticed that even after a workout I don't have that odd odor I used to with the store and commercial brand deodorants. OR if u can't find this in your stores (walgreens, and cvs carry it), regular sea salt applied twice a day depending on your activities works perfectly!

For underarm odor:
Roll 3 unpeeled lemons on hard surface until soft. Cut lemons in half. Rub each half on armpit, alternating pits. Shower afterwards. If you have hairy armpits, shave the day before. Acidity kills the odor.

I had body odor and persperation problems while I was been pregnant. (all 5 times) Clinical strenth stuff worked for to control the sweat but not the odor. Wipe off deodorant/area with Sanitizing wipes, or alcohol wipes(they worked best for me). Apply a new layer of deodorant/anti-persperant and when needed a new shirt. Kills the bacteria that is causing the problem and makes you feel clean.

To cure over excessive under arm sweating. Wash the arm pit clean first (of course) pat under arm dry with a dry wash cloth, then take another wash cloth or cotton ball and soak it up with alcohol and run it under your arms let dry and use a deoderant with baking soda and oui la you have clean dry under arms. It works fine just try it and you'll see. Oh the deoderant you use doesn't have to be any particular brand just make sure you apply the it with baking soda.

Body odor is most commonly caused by an over abundance of 'bad bacteria'. Showers and baths are a temporary fix. You need to kill the bad bacteria and that can be done with several natural ingredients: Apple Cider Vinegar, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Hydrogen Peroxide, Witch Hazel, or Rubbing Alcohol. It is easiest to apply these with a spray bottle. Spray your deodorant to disinfect it at the same time. By by BO!

Use baby powder to control perspiration and odor on any part of your body like feet, genital area, or arm pits. Also try shaving/trimming arm pits hairs and pubic hairs to reduce both perspiration and odor as well. These two things combined with regular showering/bathing and using clean clothes daily should help.
