I have been getting cold sores for 15 years & always right before an important occasion. I have tried it all Lysine Abreva ect. Nothing works. I have found a new way. TREATMENT:
As soon as you feel the 'tingle' take 3 Valtrex & ice. Repeat these until gone. Also I apply Camphor & Kenolog Orbase(Rx Oral steroid) I alternate them until gone. I also load up on vitamins. I get lots of rest & stay away from nuts & chocolate. They are high in Arginine wich triggers cold sores.
