Ok, so my symptoms were very serious. My lips were inflamed all the time, cracking, peeling, drying out and lesions almost every week. I tried all types of lip balms, almost everyone on the market. With no help solving the bacterial infections, I ventured to out side sources, hydrocortisone wasn't working, nor was any type of lip balm. So her is what I found after paying 50$ for a 'kit'. It seriously saved my lips. The embarrassment was more than enough to make me try this, and after few sessions, I found that the lesions worked.
First get Antibacterial dishwashing soap. Any type of over the counter dishwashing soap as long as it is ANTIBACTERIAL, lemon works well.

Second some Vaseline or petroleum.

Third some non alovera tissues for blowing your nose.

Third. Vitamin b.

First get a extremely clean bowl, wash it out and fill with warm water. Soak your lips in the bowl for a half minute to a minute to get the lesions to open up and become soft tissue. Make sure they are damp.

Wash your hands and then the bowl with the antibacterial soap.

Take your Clean washed hands and apply about a pennies worth of the antibacterial soap to your index fingers and start to wash your wet lips with it, the lesions will open up. Start a good lather on around your lips taking about a half minute to a minute on each lip, and really work your lips. Be gentle but still make sure to thoroughly lather them up.

leave your lips with the lather on and wash your hands thoroughly to get all of the bacteria off you hands, really make sure the bacteria/fungus on you hand are all off. Use warm to hot water.

Them take your clean bowl, fill with warm to hot water, but nothing that will burn you or hurt your face and wash of the soap. Make sure to get it all off. Take your time, wash them really well.

Then re washes your hands to get off that bacteria, thoroughly.

Take the Clean tissues and dab your lips and mouth area, use as many as you need to but DO not use the tissue more than one dab, this why you have a box. Be generous with the tissues since you have a lot of them.

You will feel your lips tighten up; this will make them feel clean, almost totally tight. This is good, it means that your lips are clean of bacteria.

Now take the Vaseline, petroleum jelly, and apply to your lips. This makes the bacteria that was once there, not be able to get air to it .no air= no place for the bacteria to grow. Be generous but not too much, do what you think is ok.

Now let that sit for 2 hours. Do what ever you need to do and then after the 2 hours wipe off the Vaseline with some tissues. This will make the bacteria not be able to grow on your lips and mouth area.

Do this process one more time. It will take about 4 hours or so. But it will totally help. It worked wonders for me.

Now the b12 vitamins are to supplement the lack of b12 that kills off the bacteria, angular cheltis is a lack of b12 in the system, or from what I have heard it is. Now take the vitamin everyday and repeat this process many times as you feel necessary, like me I repeated a few times a weeks for over month. The first time for mild cases should do the trick, but if you are like me and have extremely red sore unhealthy lips. This could take a while.
But it seriously worked for me. I have the occasional outbreak of bacteria, but it is in what I eat. I stay away from alcohol, yeasts, bread and cheese. It kind of sucks but it is what I need to do to keep my lips respectable, not embarrassing and to bearable to eat burritos.

I paid 50$ or well my dad paid this, to help me get over it. The pdf file was kinda worth all of this knowledge.I pass it on to you, cause I know how it feels to be looked at and judged by this.

Good luck. And you are not alone.

hey thank u so much for the info! I have known i was anemic(iron deficient) my whole life but never had any side effects till now. I have always thought that my lips got abnormally dry and cracked but now it makes since. About a couple days ago when the side of my mouth slit i didnt think anything of it, but today it seemed like it was something more than just dry lips. so i got online to see what it could be...and here i am. An 'angular cheilitis' sufferer! Anyways, I just tried the antibacterial soap- but didnt have vasoline to put on after so i used neosporin. will that work? i hope so cause it has been getting painful! (and my roommate was starting to joke with me about getting std's on my lip) funny now- not so much then.

I have been suffering and fighting with this for many months. I have had it in the past but has gradually gome away. Not this time... I have had antifungus meds and steroids. NOTHING has helped. I even have extreme sensitivity to spicy and acidic foods in my mouth. I started taking a high potency vitamin b complex for about 4 weeks now. I have been told that because I have had it for so long it will take a long time for the vitamin to work (Im very scepticle as nothing else worked why should this). I was getting ready to pay for this treatment as I have spent SOOOO much money on every possible lip ointment/goop until I saw your post. I will be trying your method this evening. Im so excited for this to go away...Im praying that this is the remedy that I need!!! Thank you for your help. I will post on changes (Hopefully good ones).

Thanks for sharing. I had it mild for a very long time until my dentist told me it was caused by a fungus. He recommended Lamisil cream (respective TM). It worked but it recurred a few times and seems like the anitfungal has become less effective. I have alot of B12 in my system because I take dibencozide and doctors confirmed high levels in my bloodstream. This morning I noticed a fourth recurrence and Ive been taking the b-12, so I chalk that up to a theory or works for some. Iron could be a problem as I have reduced my iron intake because I hear its not good for older men to take much iron and 18mg/ day may harden arteries so I dropped to 6 but I havent been taking much at all lately so I am going to try the method you posted along with 6 mg iron/ day religiously. What have I been doing lately to cause this to recur? Drinking alot of fruit juices mostly apple. Way too much sugar. So Im going to dilute heavily with water as I find water with just a little juice flavor just as refreshing without all the sugar. Thanks again.
Oh just a note here, be very careful with dish washing liquid as that is concentrated. I used to use it to clear up an emergency pimple quickly but it can dry out the skin so much that skin changes to dry where it used to be oily. Be sure to wash it off rather quickly after use and dont over do it as antibacterial hand soap should work fine.

Thank you for sharing this information. I thought I was going to have to spend $50 to get a home remedy. What I did was wash with anti bacterial soap, then blotted with peroxide. When dry I used carmex, there was some major burn/tingling for a few minutes. I do feel much better.

I also started to increase my iron, b12, & d.

Thanks Again.

oh my gosh. it worked! the corners of my mouth were SO red and raw, and initially after I did the antibacterial wash they were even more red and irritated and I was sure I had made them worse. but I stuck with it, washed the second time and then went to sleep. This morning I wake up... the redness is reduced by at least 75% if not more, I am not even kidding. The pain and stinging is gone and I can open my mouth without pain. I greatly appreciate this information, I was VERY skeptical but I am so relieved it worked. Angular chelitis is absolutely horrible and I would get the large red rings around the corners of my mouth, so it was also embarrassing. Thank you Thank you! I can't believe it worked!!!! I had tried EVERYTHING!

as a follow up... the corners of my lips are completely healed. I had one day of flaky dryness but now they are not red or inflamed and the crack I had in one corner is completely gone. I have been very vigilant about the whole 'bacteria' thing around my mouth and have been making sure to rinse it well and use a lot of un-petroleum jelly when I am at home. I have no doubt that it will continue to work if I keep aware of it. Thanks again!

Thank you. I also saw the websites that want you to pay. I trusted them, but I'm broke. This is perfect. I have also read a couple oils including olive oil, can be used like petroleum, but the petroleum stays on longer. I really appreciate you helping us.

Thank you very much for sharing this information with all of us. I will be trying your remedy right now. I also wanted to recommend using a high concentrated Oregano oil which also has the properties to burn bacteria and disinfects, I put a drop directly on the spot earlier today and it has helped so far. Doesn't hurt to grab a bottle as its good for many other reasons. Thanks again!
