I will state this as bluntly and as truthful as I can. CHOLESTEROL DOES NOT CAUSE HEART DISEASE. It is a symptom used by those that base their medical training on treating symptoms and not causes. If one is interested in lowering their levels of this necessary and natural body function one should look at the liver and the colon and treat for toxicity and get them in balance and harmony. One should never take statins since statins stop the production of co q10 and does serious damage to the health. Not to worry though because your doctor can come up with another drug or a surgery to keep you alive long enough to bleed the insurance company for more money.
