Bananas give me horrible acid. I take 1 level tsp. BAKING SODA mixed into a glass of lukewarm water, chug, burp a few times, and feel the relief. Ahhhhh!

Acid reflux can be brought on by many different thing for different people. Things like bananas, pineapple, lemon or lime, alcohol, chocolate, coffee, tea, wine, Soda Pop, orange juice, tomato sauce, and other things can all trigger bouts of acid reflux. Knowing your 'trigger foods' can help you avoid the discomfort caused by acid indigestion. Alkaline foods, like Baking Soda and others, can help fight the effects of the acidic foods that cause painful indigestion.

I tried the banana remedy for my acid reflux and it didnt help at all. I took some antacids and that didnt work either. I am going to try the apple vinegar route and a little cup of ginger water.

For a sore throat:Hot water mixed with apple cider vgeainr and honey. It tastes kind of vile, but the vgeainr helps sooth the throat. The honey help the taste and adds moisture and the hot water helps make it feel better too. You just sip it slowly. It does work.
